2441V Thermostat Adapter V.28
Hello bbb2008, In the tree on the left pane, you should see 4 devices (nodes) for each thermostat as follows: 1. Main 2. Cool 3. Heat 4. Fan When you click on the Main, you will see what you are describing to the right. The other three devices (nodes) can be used as controllers in other scenes. But, if you do not have these 4 devices, then either your thermostat is not V2 (In the Admin Console, the version for the thermostat should be v91 or above) OR you have not added them correctly. Is v28 on the thermostat or is it what ISY reports? If this is what ISY reports, then the problem is that you do not have a v2 Thermostat. If you wish to have a screenshot, please send an email to support@universal-devices.com . With kind regards, Michel

Release 2.8.10 (RC6) Is Now Available
Hello all, Since we added support for iMeter Solo and fixed a few minor bugs, we are not going to release and official version as of yet. Please note that this release has been thoroughly tested and is quite stable. Please do be kind enough to : 1. Test iMeter Solo functionality 2. Test SynchroLinc functionality 3. Test stability and observe any type of network anomaly 4. Checkout UI enhancements and fixes For a list of changes, please take a look at this post: http://forum.universal-devices.com/view ... =6475#6475 Notes: 1. ISY-26 is no longer included in the firmware builds 2. Due to the sensitive nature of supporting MorningLinc, users now must agree to terms and conditions upon Admin Console start up otherwise the dialog keeps popping up every time the Admin Console is started Instructions: 1. Please backup your ISY (File | Backup ISY) 2. Please download the firmware for your platform - please do not unzip ISY 99i Series: http://www.universal-devices.com/update ... 2.8.10.zip OR 992i Series: http://www.universal-devices.com/update ... 2.8.10.zip OR 994i Series: http://www.universal-devices.com/update ... 2.8.10.zip 3. Important Due to invalid Java certificate chain in releases 2.8.5 and above, please make sure to remove all Universal Devices certificates from Java: a. Close all browser sessions b. Open Java Control Panel (Java Preferences on MAC) c. Click on the Security tab. Remove all Universal Devices certificates (on MAC, click on the '-' button at the bottom) e. Clear your Java Cache ( http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... Java_Cache ) f. Go to http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/2.8.10/admin.jnlp 4. Login to the Admin Console and choose Help | Manually Upgrade [the name of your system] 5. Choose the file saved in step 2 MAC users: if upgrade fails, please add https://your.isy.ip.address to ISY Finder (see 3e above) 6. After the upgrade, ISY reboots. Please do ensure to clear your Java Cache: http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... Java_Cache 7. IMPORTANT Once upgrade is completed and ISY reboots, use any of the following methods to access your ISY's Admin Console: a. http://isy/admin - applet (Windows only) b. http://isy/admin.jnlp - Java application (Windows only) c. http://your.isy.ip.address/admin - applet d. http://your.isy.ip.address/admin.jnlp - Java application e. http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/2.8.10 - applet f. http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/2.8.10/admin.jnlp - Java application 8. IMPORTANT If you have already installed a self signed certificate and your current firmware is 2.7.10 and below, you must reinstall a new one: http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... rtificates Thanks and with kind regards, Michel

Release 2.8.9 (RC5) Is Now Available
Hello junkycosmos, I am so very sorry for a tardy reply. You cannot add ML using Add New Device AND you will have to use the 3rd option. The reason is that ISY has to read the database which includes the records to communicate with the lock. Any other method wipes them off and thus removes the original links from ML Lock. With kind regards, Michel

2441V Thermostat Adapter V.28
bbb2008, And you do not see Heat/Cool status change when the thermostat calls for heat or cool? Quick questions: 1. Do you have the latest V2 thermostats? 2. Do you see 4 nodes for each thermostat in the tree? 3. Are you on a 99i? With kind regards, Michel

Hello GeorgeRufle, Apologies for the inconvenience. Please do be kind enough to contact us (support@universal-devcies.com) and we'll figure out what's going on. Hello Steigs, We had two other cases of PLM failure ... this said, however, I would like to checkout your system before concluding anything. Please do be kind enough to contact our support and we'll try to figure out what's going on. We may have found the problem with the upgrade; it has to do with our certificate. We should have this rectified. With kind regards, Michel

Release 2.8.9 (RC5) Is Now Available
Nick, Restore your backup and downgrade to 2.7.15. Please note that while doing any type of activities to devices, you cannot expect ISY to be responsive. As a matter of fact, ISY blocks certain operations altogether. By rebooting in the middle, you might cause corruption of the configuration files. I would love to be able to login to your system and see what's going on. If you are amenable, please send me an email and we'll set it up. With kind regards, Michel

Hotmail Setup
Hello bktong, That specific error simply means that ISY could not connect to the server. Please ensure: 1. the server hostname/port are correct 2. you are not being blocked by your ISP 3. in most cases, From field causes rejections (they use your account information for From) With kind regards, Michel

ISY freeze after reboot, sometimes
Hi Tim, If you have the same problem with multiple PLMs, and if you have an extra PLM, then the best thing to do would be to send one to us so that we can test it. Currently, we are using 2413s exclusively and cannot reproduce this problem. With kind regards, Michel

ISY freeze after reboot, sometimes
Hi Tim, Yes, EZRain and EZFlora only. We do not have to initialize EZIO devices. With kind regards, Michel

ISY freeze after reboot, sometimes
Hi Tim, Thanks. This is the issue: With EZRain, ISY tries to initialize it so that it can communicate with ISY. Thsi is done at reboot and if ISY cannot communicate with it, it seems that it's hung. But, if you wait about 2 minutes (all the retries) it would come back on. So, instead of removing EZRain, try to reproduce the problem and wait between 2 to 3 minutes. If it works, then we know the problem is one of the EZRains. With kind regards, Michel
