@winksaville, We already responded to your ticket. ISY994i supports INSTEON and you will need a PLM (2413S) for it to work otherwise it goes into safe mode and nothing will work. ISY994ZS PRO is for Smart Meter communication only. During the checkout, you have the option of adding Z-Wave or INSTEON support. But, if you choose neither, it will still work. So, if you don't have any INSTEON, you MUST get ISY994 ZS PRO. With kind regards, Michel

Hi Leon, I will definitely keep you posted. As far as I remember, Oncor filed an advice letter with PUC to get rid of having to support the HAN side of the smart meters. With kind regards, Michel

Hi Leon, Thanks so very much for the update. About a year ago, there were rumors that TX (and Oncor) were removing all funding/resources for the HAN side of the Smart Meter. Perhaps the rumors are true? With kind regards, Michel

@JLOB, As per @Chris, you just have to query the sensor node (if the battery node is not there). With kind regards, Michel
-
@JLOB, I apologize. I confused this with MSI. I'll ask and get back to you. With kind regards, Michel

@cowjockey, Factory reset ISY and then do File | Restore Modem. This clears ISY and the PLM. For devices, there's no programmatic way to do it without linking to ISY and then File | Restore Devices (defrags the db). But, quite time consuming. With kind regards, Michel

Hi @JLOB, Do you see a Low Bat node for your MSII in the navigation bar/device tree on the left? If so, right mouse click and then choose Query from the menu. With kind regards, Michel
-
Hi @JLOB, Please try right mouse click on the low bat node | Query. With kind regards, Michel

@ELA, It's based on the number of support tickets and the number of anomalies we get for MSII. Some don't report temp. Some report the battery incorrectly. Some go into a loop and you have to factory reset them. Some, bombard ISY. Some don't work. With kind regards, Michel

@elite-rob, Please submit a ticket and also include your error log. With kind regards, Michel -
@larryllix, If there are port forwarding rules for UDP to ISY, there are cases where there will be UDP bombardments from the internet to ISY and thus cause DNS to fail (which is UDP itself). With kind regards, Michel
-
@jgcharlotte, Do you have any port forwarding rules in your router to ISY? Especially, UDP? If so, please remove them all. With kind regards, Michel
-
@jgcharlotte, You have DNS issues. Please checkout: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Main_Page#DNS_Error With kind regards, Michel

@brandwidth, Where do you see that error? Can you please send a screenshot to support@universal-devices.com? With kind regards, Michel
-
@502ss As mentioned on the ticket, when you format the SD Card, YOU MUST reinstall the firmware. Never heard back from you. With kind regards, Michel

@sanders2222, The first thing you should do is to check the error log. Here are the list of all SMTP error codes: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-99i/ISY-26_INSTEON:Errors_And_Error_Messages#SMTP_Errors You might want to also increase the timeout to 10000.
