  1. OK. Sorry. Very few companies make dimmer smart plugs because a lot of items that can be plugged in cant or shouldn't be dimmed. Here is a kasa product. but it's geared for outdoors. https://www.amazon.com/smart-outdoor-dimmer-plug-kasa/dp/B09DT173R1/ref=sr_1_8?crid=T5QOF8ZZSC7F&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.8T5TdiAqFSXq9RW7kM33OMLnyyPciS4jBVBW4Pd8GUz68g2dKW1CVyTOBBI_82TWVtjjmTvTL5Rii908nH4O4jFzJYYTfNH5BV29Gshl5tDJ0jxghInBC1xXfYVDvSRF9LUAye4RMNf6yHRBA2ruNfyRdQjqBY8K-b67m-M27i7eE-vLzNtv3f9THlh4aAU_BlIw_RtVTo9U1jIYm_T5ax7g6KJfxvjsIZtmJ1VPiP-x0gC4o4vMUoqEAdlhP_ZStCoC0ifgd0KLcM8iAYZxhcwvN0Y7mM5cLJH62leWhu4.vtTWZxpIr7XLqc3w5qpgEpC9nxtcazlCFnotPvlnS3c&dib_tag=se&keywords=dimming%2Bwifi%2Bsmart%2Bplug&qid=1789057499&sprefix=dimming%2Bwifi%2Bsmart%2Bplu%2Caps%2C133&sr=8-8&th=1
  2. Kasa has dimmers too https://a.co/d/0ffGSW1R
  3. I use KASA with the KASA plug-in on the EISY.. Works very well. But have you thought about Insteon which is native to the Polisy?
  4. For the similar reasons above, I decided to use YoLink sensors that reports BOTH to the EISY and to Alexa the temperatures. This way I can ask Alexa, what is the temperature of the lake and it will answer with "the temperature of hte lake is xx." --> natively w/o any new routines. Works will with my monitor in my Beer keg refrigerator and Hot tub as well. But by also reporting to the EISY, I can do monitoring on temps and alerts etc. Found this was the easiest way vs creating a routine for each temperature between 65 and 80 for the lake, for 28-36 for the beer and 98-103 for the hot tub YoLink products are cheap and work really really well. Integration thru a plug-in to EISY works really well too, as does its natural integration into Alexa.
  5. Thanks. That would be a great solution. I am not familiar a mic mixer, but will look into it. However, I am unable to get the eisy to bluetooth to the Alexa, so it would have to be a hard wire, and they are two floors apart. Not sure I have a spare connection I can use yet. May have an ethernet cable that is unused that I can adapt to. Project for the next rainy day!
  6. After more research, I see that Alexa dots can be difficult to pair with. It wants to be the source, not the speaker. It does show up though on the EISY and I can pair to it, but nothing. Trouble shooting through GROK, conclusion is: If the phone test works, the Dot can be a speaker. The eisy plugin is the weak link: it scans for simple speakers, not dual-role Echo devices, and often never exposes A2DP sink. Dot works fine as a speaker with iPhone. I am able to successfully connect eisy to a jbflip speaker, so it's clearly a handshake / understanding roles issue between the eisy and the dot. The reason I am looking to make this work is that I am trying to have the eisy make announcement or play music across my all home sound system. I currently have a dot as a source into the system, as well as the elk into the PA. Seems like I will have to stay with what I am doing today: 1) ELK announcements via EISY 2) Music as dinner via Alexa command: turn on dinner where eisy manages the lights and turning on the sound system and Alexa turns on the music selection and sends it to the dot feeding hte sound system.
  7. Cant seem to get any of the built in sounds to play. Am on all the latest packages. Any advice?
  8. @Javi just bumping this issue again as its been a while and it still is a problem.. thanks!
  9. if the main icon is showing green running then the word running to the right should be green as well to match that the Then is running. Red for else.
  10. Having two partitions is part of the new design if I understood it correctly, providing a way back in the event of a bad update? As I continue to prove out the new 14.4 system, I will soon delete the original 14.3 inactive boot... thanks and great improvements!
  11. With the New UI, there are two screens that show memory related information. Can someone explain what they mean as they dont seem to be consistent with each other? The boot environment says the current version is using 12.6G of memory. Memory usage says that 7.4 of 7.7. is being used --> I assume this is RAM? But then it says storage is only 5.9 gb... The unused boot (not shown is 5.3 gb)... is this the storage? Then where is the 12.6? Thanks,
  12. I blew up the screen shot to be able to see what the icons are... still am not sure how to read them. First line: Green lines, I assume means idle true. But what does the green running guy mean? Second line: Large green running man I assumes running true, then why is the word "Running" in red? shouldn't it be green? then the Red circle with crossout I assume means disabled, again, what about the small running man in green? what does it mean? Third line: Red lines I assume means idle false, circle disabled, and again what is the small running green man mean? thanks...
  13. I am finding hte red on black is very hard to see or read... are these programs disabled? hard to tell. Status? hard to tell. I have no idea what the red mark is by the icon in the front of the programs --> Temp Sensor Conv as an example. Also cant really read the Running in red. and why red when its running a true? Am wondering if different color schemes could be put on the options list? @Javi
  14. I often like to expand all my programs or nodes across my whole system to then check things like "enabled" or not, or "run at startup", or status of a node. This feature is no longer available and was a key part of managing a large complex system via the AC. Time and hassle to manage my system just increased dramatically.
  15. One of my most depended upon features of the AC is the ability to right click on MyPrograms (main level folder of all programs) and select "copy folder to clipboard", where-as I then past all my program details into word document. This has saved me many times. This feature does not appear to be available in the Eisy UI......and will be gone as the AC gets deprecated.
  16. All appears to be working after above steps with one exception: Ratdgo did not restart correctly. Restarted the plugin, seems to be working.
  17. The new UI mixes scenes and Nodes into one list. While I understand why this might be attractive to a new user having everything alphabetized, I am used to seeing all my nodes separately and like to sort the list by address so that I can see if my plugins and nodes are all working quickly by scanning the status column. This doesn't work when I have a hundred scenes mixed into the list w/o any status reporting. So I created a folder where I was going to place my random scenes into called Other Scenes. The problem is that you have to drag and drop the scene, individually into the new folder, however the screen wont auto-scroll to allow you to do so. So if you cant "see the folder" on the same page as the item you are attempting to move, you cant move it to the desired location.
  18. After manual reboot, appears all is up and running. Two notes: -EISY was so hot, I couldn't hold it. -UDI fixed the single plugin issue above as I have to upgrade again to get the latest UI. Will see what happens next!
  19. Been three hours now and no EISY Will manually reboot and then open a ticket if it doesn’t come back up
  20. @RP_NY Just started the upgrade 40 minutes ago.... my notifications in UDMobile are a bit different. Looks like they progressed where as you did not?
  21. Was able to get cell service, and did a sync, so am up and running again. Local connection is working fine. thanks.
  22. Have been having hte same problem. Have tried everything from new app, older backups etc. Have >50 errors, favorites not syncing etc. Unfortunately I dont have good cell service here to sync with but will try that next time I do. When will the EISY update occur?
  23. Can someone explain better how to connect to the Eisy to the Somfy URTSii serial interface so the that I can use this Plug in? Currently I am using an Somfy Dry Contact interface with a Insteon I/O that I control with EISY, along with an elk Open Close RF transmitter to determine if it's closed or not. Only control is on or off so would like better control.
  24. If you are using the YoLink Notification, I dont know of any way in EISY or Yolk to turn them off "globally" However, if you are using EISY Notifications via programs triggered by the yo link device, you can easily add a variable (ie: Mouse traps armed=1, not armed 0) and then set up a toggle program in UDM that you can turn off all the notifications, by having the variable be a folder condition where all the notification programs reside.
