  1. Why not have a program set variables, one for armed stay and one for armed away. A program could look at the variables to determine the state of the system, and then reset the variable when the system is disarmed.
  2. @kzboray Send an email to Steve Lee at Insteon: slee@insteon.com He has been with Insteon for a long time and probably has the answers to your questions. I believe that the "all on" was an Insteon firmware issue not a hardware issue. If that's the case then it should make your project a lot easier to debug.
  3. If you have the Zwave 300 series board then you should install the 5.0.16c firmware as 5.3.4 is not compatible with the 300 series Zwave dongle. 5.0.16C (ISY994) - Last version to support Z-Wave 300 Series - Current Release Announcements - Universal Devices Forum (universal-devices.com)
  4. The device's firmware shows up in the device tree if you click on Network or ISY. I'm not sure what versions of a specific device's firmware removed the "all on"
  5. Techman replied to Steigs's topic in Insteon
@Steigs You should also do a scene diagnostics, and post the results
  6. In the admin console, after setting the on value you need to click the "on" to the left of the level setting
  7. @WShellshear You might try clearing your java cache, be sure to check all 3 boxes, and download the IoX Launcher from here: https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp Did you follow the instructions for replacing a SD card? Are the leds on the front of the ISY properly displaying?
  8. Make sure that the antennas are connected to the correct mount. I use a short USB cable between the eisy and the zmatter dongle to eliminate any stress on the eisy USB port.
  9. Not sure exactly what the issue is that you're having. Is the 16GB card working as it should in your ISY, If not it wasn't programed properly.
  10. Right click on the light or the device you want to add to a scene, and then click on add to scene.
  11. @paul.rea You might have either an eisy firmware issue or a problem with the connection between the Zmatter dongle and the eisy. At this point it's best to submit a support ticket.
  12. @WShellshear Here's the instructions for replacing the card. You can use up to a 32Gb card. A high quality 16Gb card should be adequate. ttps://wiki.universal-devices.com/ISY-99i/ISY-26_INSTEON:Replacing/Formatting_an_SD_Card
  13. You should right click on the device and disable it otherwise the controller will attempt to access it. Any luck with moving the zigbee device closer to the EISY?
  14. If you have a firewall try disabling it. You can also try deleting the temporary files located at: C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Local\Temp Delete the following files, If that doesn't fix things then open a support ticket.
  15. For Windows 10, Clear your java cache, be sure to check all 3 boxes. then download the IoX Launcher from here: https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp This will place the IoX Launcher on your desktop.
  16. Yes, you can add the remote button to your existing scene. Put the remote into the linking mode then add the button to the existing scene as a controller
  17. If your remote is the 4 scene model then you shoiuld create a scene, add the device you want to control into the scene as a controller, then add button A of the remote into the scene as a controller. You'll need to create new scenes for each of the other 3 remote buttons following the steps above.
  18. To use a battery operated remote you need to put the remote into the linking mode and then add the remote button to the scene as a controller. Depening on the remote you're using you may have to add two remote buttons to the scene, one for on and one for off. What version of the remote are you using ?
  19. You need to create a scene and put button A in the scene as a controller. Put the light in the scene as a controller. Button A will then be able to turn the light on or off, no need for button B. If the light is turned on manually button A will light. In the scene you'll need to set the on level for the light, and ramp rate.
  20. Is the keypad a 6 button or an 8 button KPL? Is the light hardwired (connected to the red load wire) to the keypad? If not is anything connected to the load wire?
  21. In your device tree there's a red explanation mark which means that the EISY is unable to communicate with the device. Try moving the device closer to the eisy then right click on the device and then click on rewrite device links. It's possible that your device is out of range from the zmatter dongle. If that's the case you may have to add a zigbee repeater such as this one: Range Extender Zi - Aeotec
  22. Assuming you're on an eisy, try: eisy.local:3000/dashboard
  23. In addition to @paulbates suggestion, no the link tables cannot be manually edited. If you suspect the link tables are mismatched you can run a device link table diagnostic, then a compare. That will show if the controller link tables match those stored in the PLM. If there's a mismatch, then a restore device will rewrite the PLM link tables so they match those stored in the controller.
  24. In the admin console, is the battery voltage displayed? If so then you could use a program, see attached
  25. Powering down the Polisy clears the memory. When there are issues it seems that powering down proves to be more beneficial that a (warm) reboot.
