  1. Seems you somehow have an extra byte in your program that shouldn't be there. try deleting the "Thermo Bonus Sensor" again, save the program then reboot the ISY. Then add the sensor back to the program. Post a screenshot of the email customization.

    The forth coming zmatter add-on hardware for the Polisy, and the upcoming eisy, will support 3rd party devices that support matter. Matter will not be available for the ISY994. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matter_(standard)
  3. Some things to try: Check your ethernet cable. Check the ISY power supply voltage. Reboot the ISY Do you have a PLM plugged into the ISY? It's possible that the SD card is not seated properly or is defective
  4. You have an extra character your temperature report which may be interfering with the value. Try deleting the Thermo Bonus Sensor in your program, save the program, then reenter it. T
  5. What's the version number of the KPLs I wonder if they took older KPLs and updated the date for warranty purposes.

  7. It could be due to marginal communication issue or a minor issue with the Admin console. What version of the Zwave board do you have What are your ISY firmware and UI versions
  8. It sounds like you have a defective device that when queried creates noise on the powerline. You might want to try independently querying each of your devices to see if you can narrow down the culprit.

  10. You can't query a battery-operated device as the device goes to sleep to preserve battery life. The admin console will always show a blank status for battery operated devices after a reboot until the device is activated. It doesn't retain the previous status.

  13. @isy99user Take a look at these instructions. Before you download the ISY launcher you need to clear you Java cache and installed applications. ISY Launcher - Current Release Announcements - Universal Devices Forum (universal-devices.com)
  14. When you get home do a PLM link count. If the count is usually low, then it's most likely a PLM problem. You can also try doing a restore PLM which will write all the links stored in the ISY to the PLM. About how many Insteon devices do you have installed, that will determine what the approximate PLM link count should be.
  15. You may have to do a factory reset on the KPL, then right click on the device in the ISY and do a restore device.
  16. NO To test the sensor place it on a wet paper towel. Once the wet node is on you need to manually reset the sensor by pressing the set button once. The wet should then show as off and the dry mode as on.
  17. Try clearing your Java Cache, be sure to check the box "all installed applications", then download the ISY launcher. The ISY 99i was discontinued and is no longer supported, however the ISY launcher should still work. The ISY firmware version should appear in the Version field of the launcher.

  20. Excellent idea. Are you planning on participating in the Zoom call, if so............... 1. What are his plans for a PLM, USB, serial, or both? 2. What products does he plan on restocking? 3. What is a realistic time frame for product availability? 4., Has he addressed the component failures that plagued the past Insteon devices?
  21. For some reason the router isn't seeing the Polisy. Make sure the Router is set up to "use the router as a DHCP server". Try reserving a fixed IP address to the Polisy in your Router
  22. Scene data links are stored in each device and the PLM If you disconnect the PLM and then activate a member of a scene all the other scene members should respond as they are not dependent on the PLM Being that the scenes work but not from the ISY, the restore PLM should correct your issues.
  23. It's possible that the SD card had an issue, or wasn't fully seated in the Ecolink. Once the card is inserted, unplug the Ecolink, that seems to re-read the card once it's plugged back in.
  24. I just received this response from Insteon as to the availability of PLMs and Insteon devices ----------------------------------------- The goal is to continue to sell a PLM option. The current problem is components. We do have other options that involve retrofitting other designs. I can't give you any specifics but the plan is to start the process of getting products back into the market by the end of the year or early next year. Thank you, Steve Lee Insteon Support
  25. The PLM was manufactured in the 46th week of 2016. It's possible that it has capacitors that are failing. Unfortunately, PLMs are difficult to find. Most of the forum members are either replacing the components or sending the PLM out to someone for repair. Hopefully someone who has had theirs repaired can chime in with more details When you power cycle the ISY and PLM. First plug in the PLM, wait about 15 seconds then power up the ISY You can also try doing a restore device on one of your problem devices to see if that resolves the problem.
