  1. The 2414S is a PLC and not a PLM. I have a 2412S PLM marked 2414S. Smartlabs reprogrammed a PLC to work like a PLM. What does the Tools, Diagnostics, PLM Info/Status test show? Since the 2412S is on the AC power I would think it would be the more likely candidate to have a problem. When no actions are happening. The Power LED is the only one illuminated along with the LED glowing dimly on the PLM.
  2. Well I have no modules new enough to have the beep features. I understand a wiring problem or incorrect load will make them sound a warning. So rechecking everything can't hurt.
  3. The latest KPL has a beeper in it. According to the sales page. I believe the SwitchLincs may also have beepers now. I wounder if maybe they beep on power up.
  4. Loss of communications to the device. http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... ation_Mark http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... User_Guide
  5. You could factory reset everything and go from scratch. Any preexisting links not done by the iSY99i will not show up in My Lighting. When adding devices in link management. There is a choice to remove existing links in a device as it is added. There is also a choice to keep existing links but that may also add the problem controllers links also if they are in the devices. http://www.universal-devices.com/docs/i ... rguide.pdf http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... =Main_Page
  6. Installed fine with no hitches.
  7. http://www.universal-devices.com/tools/ ... _links.htm
  8. That is what I thought. Thanks for the confirmation.
  9. Do you have a 2412S PLM or a 2413S PLM? The original 2412S PLM had a 417 link database. Newer ones a >2000 link database. The Quick Users Guide just says >2000. The sales page for the 2413S now says >800 2412S implied here and 1023 for the 2413S? 2413S 1023 link database. 2065 sounds strange and is too big for even the later 2412S PLM that could be no larger than 2048.
  10. Administrative Console. On the top task bar. A Green Icon with a 11010 and a Green Icon with a small battery symbol. Now I have the Pro version and I am not sure if you have those options if you don't have the Pro ISY99i.
  11. Are the Access Points V1.? or 2.? I know my V1 Access Points get fairly warm from their power supplies. I can't comment on the V2s but I have read they have a more efficient power supply in them.
  12. You are welcome. Calling the Input a Sensor may have not been the best choice. I keep forgetting the some of the Simplehomenet modules have isolated inputs.
  13. The 2450 I/OLinc can not be triggered by a 12 volt signal. It needs a closure between the S Sensor Terminal and the GND terminal. Smarthome does have a Low Voltage Detector Kit. That includes the I/OLinc and a Low Voltage Detector. That should work. Unfortunately it is showing out of stock. http://www.smarthome.com/24950A4/I-O-Li ... Kit/p.aspx I have used an Optoisolator to trigger an I/OLinc if you care to create a small interface board to connect to it. A 12 volt relay could be made to work also. As long as you can determine the safe current the 12 volt signal can provide.
  14. I opened the Administration Panel and all the Current State column was blank. I closed it and opened it again and it was then filled in. Maybe a coincidence but the Error Log around the same time had this in it. The Venstar Thermostat with built in adapter is now preordering for general users. So maybe from time to time. The Pro only stuff may work its way to the DIY users also.
  16. It does sound like the Access Points electronics where running in a confused state. The power reset corrected it. I had a few ApplianceLincs get confused due to power glitches. That also worked after a power reset.
  17. UDI has posted that some ISY99is had a different sized connector in it. I believe that they sent a few users a converter cable. My power supply I got from Smarthome fits VERY tight and I didn't use it. I stole the one from my unused ISY26 as it fit perfectly.

Do you see anything strange in the Log or Error Logs?
  19. LeeG beat my reply but it is a bug and will disappear probably in the next release.
  20. I see the same thing when I select a device. I am using Windows XP SP3.
  21. I don't believe I downloaded the incorrect update as the file size matches the one in the ISY99i link. Is it normal to now have three Zigbee choices in the Link Management Tab?
  22. I updated with no problems. Will be trying a SynchroLinc sometime today. The new interface at http://your.isy.ip.address/ looks neat and I will be trying it out.
  23. The latest 2456S3 ApplianceLinc and 2856S3B Icon relay modules also revert to Off after a power failure.
  24. Physical distance sometimes can be deceiving. If the present location is on a different circuit than where it was. There is a possibility of communications issues.
  25. With the power off. Check that the SD Card didn't get loose in shipment. I believe the present model has access to it from a slot in the case.
