Release 3.1.0 (Beta) Is Now Available
Brian H replied to Michel Kohanim's topic in Previous Releases
I also had no issues with the update. -
After a power failure {this morning for me} or any other reboot. All will be false until they run.
-
No there was a type on my post. Restore Modem PLM was what I wanted to say. Not replace plm.
-
After the PLM swap. In the files menu area. Did you use the "Restore PLM" choice to update the ISY99i system to the new PLM? That is how I swapped my 2412S for the newer 2413S. Restore PLM was needed to do it.

I don't know all the ways it works. I almost think it goes out and checks what is avilable in you area after you input a location. I believe it also gives you a list of exactly what each station supports. As some have added data other do not.
-
Not sure if you found the wiki information. http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... WeatherBug
-
If the modules in question are ApplianceLincs and a hardware revision 4.2. They default to Off after a power loss. Unlike the earlier revision ones that default to the On or Off state they where in at power loss. Same for the latest Icon Appliance Module

No problem. I have done things like that myself.
-
Just worked for me. I searched motion and got 723 hits.

Considering buying an isy99i - I have a programming question
Brian H replied to driedlinger's topic in ISY994
If you need the larger amount of programs. You can use the Purchase Modules feature, in the Administrative Console. To add the Pro feature. If you purchased the non Pro model. That would get you 1000 programs. It is a software thing and nothing has to be done internally to the ISY99i. -
I still have some X10 modules in my setup. There is still no Insteon replacement for a Chime Module. No Insteon remote with 16 separate addresses either. Some of my Insteon modules still have an added X10 address just so I can use the HR12A Palm pad remotes. MY ISY99i has no problems sounding my chimes when it is time to get up. Some users have fond that as more Insteon devices are added. They get more reliable and their X10 gets touchier.

Installed with no problems.
-
It is their line of Insteon Devices. Sold and installed by Insteon Professional Installers. http://www.smartproline.com/ They have some devices like thermostat with the Insteon adapter built in and a hard wired Dual Band phase coupler.
-
I am glad things are going to be corrected for you. There are not that many companies willing to bend over backwards for their customers. Universal Devices is another one that is willing to go the extra mile to assist users.
-
v28 is the firmware revision in the adapter. So it will never change to a different number.
-
The manual for the v2 adapter has a chart of differences from the older v1 units. http://wiki.smarthome.com/index.php?tit ... %29_Manual It does look like the v2 versions have many added features the v1 versions are lacking. Since you purchased this recently and the vendor sent you a v1 model that was at least a year old {from Tom's reply to you in the Smarthome Forums}. I would ask for a replacement.

Try unplugging it for at least ten seconds. While holding the set button plug it back in. Keep holding the set button for ten seconds then release the set button.

Update. I tried to add a new module to the My Lighting Tree and Java flagged an error. I have seen this in a few of the recent beta updates. I just never wrote down the message to report. Java has discovered application components that could indicate a security concern. Name: 99i Administrative Console. Block yes or no. I chose No. I did follow the instructions and remove the certificate as part of the update.
-
Installed fine.
-
The JV Engineering XTBM X10 signal meter is also a good one. I have one myself. It does sound like you have an X10 signal problem. Could be noise or a few signal absorbing devices.
-
You should use the Link a ControLinc choice in the Link Management Tab. The six digit Insteon ID is also needed as you have indicated.
-
Did you replace the PLM? If the PLM was replaced. Did you use the Restore Modem PLM choice in File Menu to get the replacement installed correctly?
-
Installed OK for me.
