  1. Administrative Console. On the top task bar. A Green Icon with a 11010 and a Green Icon with a small battery symbol. Now I have the Pro version and I am not sure if you have those options if you don't have the Pro ISY99i.
  2. Are the Access Points V1.? or 2.? I know my V1 Access Points get fairly warm from their power supplies. I can't comment on the V2s but I have read they have a more efficient power supply in them.
  3. You are welcome. Calling the Input a Sensor may have not been the best choice. I keep forgetting the some of the Simplehomenet modules have isolated inputs.
  4. The 2450 I/OLinc can not be triggered by a 12 volt signal. It needs a closure between the S Sensor Terminal and the GND terminal. Smarthome does have a Low Voltage Detector Kit. That includes the I/OLinc and a Low Voltage Detector. That should work. Unfortunately it is showing out of stock. http://www.smarthome.com/24950A4/I-O-Li ... Kit/p.aspx I have used an Optoisolator to trigger an I/OLinc if you care to create a small interface board to connect to it. A 12 volt relay could be made to work also. As long as you can determine the safe current the 12 volt signal can provide.
  5. I opened the Administration Panel and all the Current State column was blank. I closed it and opened it again and it was then filled in. Maybe a coincidence but the Error Log around the same time had this in it. The Venstar Thermostat with built in adapter is now preordering for general users. So maybe from time to time. The Pro only stuff may work its way to the DIY users also.
  7. It does sound like the Access Points electronics where running in a confused state. The power reset corrected it. I had a few ApplianceLincs get confused due to power glitches. That also worked after a power reset.
  8. UDI has posted that some ISY99is had a different sized connector in it. I believe that they sent a few users a converter cable. My power supply I got from Smarthome fits VERY tight and I didn't use it. I stole the one from my unused ISY26 as it fit perfectly.
  9. Do you see anything strange in the Log or Error Logs?
  10. LeeG beat my reply but it is a bug and will disappear probably in the next release.
  11. I see the same thing when I select a device. I am using Windows XP SP3.
  12. I don't believe I downloaded the incorrect update as the file size matches the one in the ISY99i link. Is it normal to now have three Zigbee choices in the Link Management Tab?
  13. I updated with no problems. Will be trying a SynchroLinc sometime today. The new interface at http://your.isy.ip.address/ looks neat and I will be trying it out.
  14. The latest 2456S3 ApplianceLinc and 2856S3B Icon relay modules also revert to Off after a power failure.
  15. Physical distance sometimes can be deceiving. If the present location is on a different circuit than where it was. There is a possibility of communications issues.
  16. With the power off. Check that the SD Card didn't get loose in shipment. I believe the present model has access to it from a slot in the case.
  17. I have also found the NC and NO specifications different between security and electronic industry descriptions. As a Electronic Technician. I would call a NC switch closed with no magnet. In a security system it is closed with the magnet. As that is the unviolated zone condition.

    PLM Lifespan

The 2413S has a 1023 link database. According to the web sales page. The later 2412S models where more than 2000. I can't find the exact number in my archives. Also the 2413S does not have power on the serial output connector to the ISY99i like the 2412S did. So you also need the optional external power supply when using a 2413S. To power the ISY99i. Simplehomenet makes a EZIComm module that is supposed to be a 2412S equivalent. http://www.simplehomenet.com/proddetail ... od=EZIComm I have had a few 2412S PLMs get flake along with 2414S/U PLC {same basic main board. Different daughter card and firmware}. The 2413S/U have a completely different main board so they maybe better.
  19. Glad the filters did the trick for you.
  20. Some cell phone chargers are also known to cause all kinds of power line noise.
  21. Most of the X10 motion senors send an Off after a preset timeout. Most also have a Dusk Dawn sensor. Where it uses the next highest unit code. Like your P1, dusk dawn is P2. At dusk P2 On is sent and at dawn P2 Off is sent.
  22. The HCA02-10E. Has been known to cause signal firestorms with X10s CM15A. I have not seen anything directly on it with Insteon signals. Though Insteon signals start 800us before Zero Crossing and extend past it. X10 starts at Zero Crossing so it maybe possible the HCA02-10E is misinterpreting the Insteon signals as an X10 one. Was the signal stream a P1 On then a P1 Off? It has a signal test function where it sends P1 On then P1 Off. When a test button is pushed. Until the button is pushed again or a valid X10 signal is received by it.
  23. Some of the X10 active repeater couplers are known to get into signal firestorms. Which one do you have?
  24. Is your ISY99i new? 3.1.2 is a beta and maybe you need the links to the last released firmware. a. http://isy/admin - applet (Windows only) b. http://isy/admin.jnlp - Java application (Windows only) c. http://your.isy.ip.address/admin - applet d. http://your.isy.ip.address/admin.jnlp - Java application e. http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/2.8.16 - applet f. http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/2.8.16/admin.jnlp - Java application Another thought. Are you using a Firewall and which one is it? I had to add my ISY99is IP address to ZoneAlarms Trusted Zone before things works.
  25. Have you tried looking in the UDI Wiki? http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... =Main_Page Full Users Manual Here: http://www.universal-devices.com/docs/i ... rguide.pdf
