  1. Smarthome sells a nine volt adapter and on the sales page. It says can be used with the 2420M.
  2. Sometimes you get hits from the search function. Some terms I think may find something have no hits others more than I really wanted.
  3. Error message numbers are found here. http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... r_Messages I am sure UDI will give you the scoop on if they are a big problem.
  4. The unit communicates with the automation controllers by an RS232 connection. I don't believe the Serial Port on the ISY99i could be used to interface to the unit.
  5. 9 volts should be fine. I asked about the voltage range in this thread. http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewtopic.php?t=3593 On the bottom of the 2413S sales page. They do show an optional ISY Power Supply, but it is not very obvious.
  6. Look at the CT-800 sensor used in this tutorial. http://www.cocoontech.com/portal/articl ... ?showall=1 You could pass one of the two 220 volt power wires for the pump through the CT-800 and trigger an I/OLinc's sensor input.
  7. The RemoteLinc is in the Device Type List. 00.05 I have used the Auto Discover and it was added. Just have to remember to turn the linking mode on or it isn't found. Firmware v.33. V1.0 RemoteLinc. I have seen a V1.2 reported as having a v.35 firmware. Michel gave me a reason why I should not go that route in an earlier post to this thread. But it was added. I don't have any newer revisions. So new ones may not act the same as mine.
  8. Unless something has changed. You can't. Though on my old revision RemoteLinc. I can manually link modules to the All Buttons and not have any of the six paddles in the loop. The Diagnostics Show Device Links Table. For the RemoteLinc. Does show the extra links to the All Buttons and flags an extra link message in the compare functions.
  9. I really doubt it. What make and model? The RCS TX15 and TXB16 come to mind.
  10. I also had no issues with the update.
  11. After a power failure {this morning for me} or any other reboot. All will be false until they run.
  12. No there was a type on my post. Restore Modem PLM was what I wanted to say. Not replace plm.
  13. After the PLM swap. In the files menu area. Did you use the "Restore PLM" choice to update the ISY99i system to the new PLM? That is how I swapped my 2412S for the newer 2413S. Restore PLM was needed to do it.
  14. I don't know all the ways it works. I almost think it goes out and checks what is avilable in you area after you input a location. I believe it also gives you a list of exactly what each station supports. As some have added data other do not.
  15. Not sure if you found the wiki information. http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... WeatherBug
  16. If the modules in question are ApplianceLincs and a hardware revision 4.2. They default to Off after a power loss. Unlike the earlier revision ones that default to the On or Off state they where in at power loss. Same for the latest Icon Appliance Module
  17. No problem. I have done things like that myself.
  18. Just worked for me. I searched motion and got 723 hits.
  19. If you need the larger amount of programs. You can use the Purchase Modules feature, in the Administrative Console. To add the Pro feature. If you purchased the non Pro model. That would get you 1000 programs. It is a software thing and nothing has to be done internally to the ISY99i.
  20. I still have some X10 modules in my setup. There is still no Insteon replacement for a Chime Module. No Insteon remote with 16 separate addresses either. Some of my Insteon modules still have an added X10 address just so I can use the HR12A Palm pad remotes. MY ISY99i has no problems sounding my chimes when it is time to get up. Some users have fond that as more Insteon devices are added. They get more reliable and their X10 gets touchier.
  21. http://www.smarthome.com/manuals/2430.pdf
  22. Sounds good.
  23. Installed with no problems.
  24. It is their line of Insteon Devices. Sold and installed by Insteon Professional Installers. http://www.smartproline.com/ They have some devices like thermostat with the Insteon adapter built in and a hard wired Dual Band phase coupler.
  25. I am glad things are going to be corrected for you. There are not that many companies willing to bend over backwards for their customers. Universal Devices is another one that is willing to go the extra mile to assist users.
