Great Michel,

When you get close to ISY on Polisy and/or Polyglot 3, then give us a shout with some possible dates.

Maybe we should just schedule a date....  no dependencies required....

This is so interesting. As part of our business plan, this is what I have (verbatim):

Grow the Developer Community by offering discounts on hardware, services, tools and instituting annual developer events with perks and prizes.
I guess this will be our first!
With kind regards,
Michel

Is Zoom allowed into USA from Canada, yet? :):)

Maybe not, but there are direct flights from your neck of the woods to LA ?

I'm not a developer but i did stay at a Holiday Inn Express when I was much younger! Does that count?

You may not be a developer, but for sure very knowlegeable. On the other hand, I am neither a developer or anywhere close to your level of knowledge. I might be intimidated in the middle of all you smarties.

You're definitely more knowledgeable than you give yourself credit for

I'm with you there @asbril. We could all go in wearing @MrBill name tags though.

And I'd be in for the trip. It's been a few years since I was in LA. Let's get past Covid a little more though. And hopefully not have 80+ ships anchored off the coast of LA. We can all go point at the ships and wonder if home automation parts (of any brand) are in any of the containers.

I moved across country for an extended work assignment, left my ISY at home, and took my Polisy with me.  I bought a USB PLM from Smarthome and the combo is my only means of automation in my rental here, controlling a couple of LampLincs and an ApplianceLinc.  I'll be adding some Door/Window Sensors soon.

It may be alpha, but it's stable enough to control my small environment here.  When you connect via the Java Administrative console, you'd never know the difference.

Well, I know I'm not that active on forums lately, and deve of nodeservers has slowed all due to work and life, so I guess that excluded me emoji16.png

@Jimbo , @bpwwer and @xKingwere not invited either. The three of you do not require invitations. You guys are automatically invited and any node server event without you, is like the signing ceremony of the Declaration of Independence without the founding fathers.

I don't think there was a formal list of invitee's... I think @asbril just typed the names of the people that came to mind at the moment to gauge interest level.  Heck how could there be a list, we don't even know the date yet!

@MrBill is right.....  I just looked at those that had been active most recently, and I should have done a better job at it. My apologies !

I really hope that we can make this a reality and get together with Michel & team in LA.

In fact, I would use the opportunity for some of you to look at my ISY programs and give me some serious ideas for improvement :-)
