Support thread: IoX 5.5.7 Release

Updated both my polisy/ZMatter systems to 5.5.7 . The IoX spurious reboot problem appears to be gone.

I do continue to have a problem with my Zooz Zse29 outdoor motion sensor. It is continuously connected to a 5V power supply. I did an exclude, and a secure include. The primary device shows three values in the AC: V1 Alarm Type, V1 Alarm level, Battery Level. All three values are blank. When I attempt a query in the AC, I get a pop up window that says Error  Request Failed. I will open a ticket.

Add them and uncheck all the security no s2 etc.. See if works.

You could also try Compatibility Mode if adding it non-securely doesn't work.

Thanks @brians and @DennisC for the suggestions. I tried excluding/including with no security options checked. That resulted in more associated nodes, and the AC is showing the IOW icon for all the associated nodes (seems to be stuck trying to write). I still have blank status for the Motion Sensor node, and when I try a query on it I get an error popup window.

I also tried turning compatability mode off, then rebooted polisy. When reboot was finished, I tried a query of the motion sensor node, and got a TCP client read response failed.

I am wondering if the zse29 hardware has gone bad. I only have one of them.

Have you tried right clicking on the device and select write updates?

What about trying synchronize with interview?

Node Servers I have running:
Kasa: All Good
HUE: All Good
Govee: All Good
NOAA: All Good - Seems to be populating it's data more effectively now.
Sun: Connected but, no data, everything is zero.

Otherwise this is looking very stable. All programs are functioning as intended other then my blinds and Sun Node Server at the moment.

5.5.7 upgrade went as expected which is becoming a trend. :)

The one thing I notice is after upgrading the status of my Z-Wave devices is not known until I query each one. However, the battery devices don't seem to query.

For me, it took several minutes for ZWave device status to show up.

For battery devices, you might need to wake them up before Querying.

Yes. Writes still seem to be stuck.

Doing a synchronize/update or synchronize/replace with interview (after having previously done an exclude/include) actually causes several of the associated nodes to disappear, including the motion sensor node.

@macjeffJust finished the upgrade. My z-wave devices took a while to populate and then still a few would not populate all fields: locks and thermostat.

I restarted the AC and now they are all working as expected.

One oddity was that after the four beeps, I unplugged the Polisy, and replugged it in. Shortly after I got four more beeps. But everything including NS all started up and are reporting correctly.

@dbwarner5 4 beeps or (4 beeps + 1) per the instruction?.

lol.. I am not sure.. it always seems like the initial is 4 +1.. in this instance when I clicked on upgrade packages, I got one beep... long pause (30-60 seconds ) two  (or three) more beeps that were slow... then after another few minutes I got the 4 (+1) beeps. that is when I unplugged it and rebooted it.. During the reboot, fairly soon into it, I got another 4 beeps.

Based on my experiences with Polisy updates, whenever UD says 4 beeps, I have always counted 4 + 1.

I am on eisy now and when I updated that, I had to do two upgrade packages before things were normal.

Maybe, the process is some items getting updated the first time and some the second time, I don't know. I am just glad things are returning to normal (stability).

Upgrade to 5.5.7 Brought me nothing new. Open closed Sensors no change still report on and off not open close at least they are reporting.

I have lost one of my Quickset 916 Locks. When I did an update no change when I did an update with interview is removed the only working nodes and added Entry Control Node. So I did an exclude and include the only node it loaded was Entry Control which is a blank node.  On teh two remaining Quickset locks that remain Lock Access Control does not update. This worked in 5.5.5.

First alert Smoke Combo will not include.

First Alert Smoke reports numbers not text.

Guess I will wait another week and see if it is my turn in the Que....
