Can anyone confirm the i3 paddle shows correct status after local control? I've been holding off getting some until that's fixed. Release notes only mention the dial.

My i3 Paddle still shows as a switch not a dimmer (it's configured as a dimmer).
Also, on and off from the admin console don't work, but fast on and fast off do.

Well damn, I guess I'll continue to hold off then. thanks for checking!

I performed the update on my Polisy from 5.5.9 to 5.6.0 - this also updated the Polisy to PG3x 3.1.25 and now all my node servers are disconnected - rebooting, power cycling and restarting PG3x do not fix this - is this because the Polisy has now crossed over to PG3x?  vs PG3?  - do I need to re-install all node servers or what?

Upgraded my Polisy to 5.6.0 today. After upgrade IOX Finder still showed Polisy as 5.5.9 and Admin Console would not open received socket error. Pulled power on Polisy waited a few minutes and Polisy rebooted. IOX Finder now shows Polisy 5.6.0. all appears to be working. PG3 did not upgrade as reported by @JTsao Mine is still PG3 at 3.1.20. Still awaiting for my original ZWAVE issues to be fixed with the First Alert Smoke reporting V1 alarms in numerical values and my (9) KAIPULE Z-Wave Plus Wireless Door Window sensors that when door is open it reports as On not Open in Polisy and when closed it reports as Off not closed.

Upgraded to IoX 5.6.0 and PG3 3.1.20 on a PoliSy Pro. Issues were the regular culprits.

The LifX NS was unable to locate any LifX devices without multiple PoliSy / Router reboots. Time running may also play into this, but I have been unable to find the specific cause. This is normal bad behavior from the LifX NS and not related to the IoX or PG3 upgrade, but very frustrating especially since there is no longer support for this NS.

The TimeData, OpenWeatherMap, Virtual, VirtualButtons, and ST-Inventory NS's all required restarts even after the PoliSy reboot before they fully populated all nodes in AC. Again this is normal from these NS's.

HarmonyHub and Volumio NS's started without issue. Again this is normal. I have never had an issue with either of these NS's. They just work.

So no one else got bumped to PG3x 3.1.25?  I have a theory that because I clicked on this https://polisy.local:8443/rest/pg3x.enable a few weeks ago (from the flirc / IR page), that this may have done something which caused me to go to PG3x - although, at the time, it did nothing... may be opening a ticket, or I may have to try to migrate to PG3x from my latest PG3 backup using the "migrate from PG3 backup" option - has anyone else tried to migrate a Polisy to PG3x?

Why is this not showing as an update in UD Mobile?

Server version is usually updated a few days after the forum posts, think of this as a staggered release.  Force Upgrade from app will still upgrade to latest version even if it is not known to the app.

I was just informed there is bug in the semantic version comparison if you upgrade before server version is updated. This is causing the app to show Firmware Update Available when you have a version greater than known current version, even though there is no upgrade available. Will be fixed in the next version.

Updated to 5.6.  Eisy can't be found by the launcher even though it has an assigned address by the router.  I have pulled power and reconnected.  No immediate success.  It is disconnected from the portal.

I experienced the same issue. After clearing the Java cache, reinstalling the launcher, and uninstalling and reinstalling Java a couple of times for each, I rebooted the Eisy by clicking the multi-function button five times. After the reboot, the issue disappeared. I am unsure if I would have rebooted first would have resolved the issue or if it was some of the other things I did in combination with the reboot that resolved the issue.

I will try rebooting the eisy.  May have to open a ticket if that doesn't work.  Rebooting seems to hang at eisy [1069] error resolving pool pool.ntp.org: name does not resolve.

Try 1 press of the multi function button. Wait at least 15 minutes then clear Java cache, delete all applets (all 3 boxes) and download a new start.jnlp.

After  some hours of random flailing about, I got it to work.  What finally solved it was to reset the wifi.  Two presses on the button and managed from UD mobile.  I will be waiting awhile before migrating from my ISY until the eisy is a reliable machine that doesn't require too much effort to keep it up and running.

There's a new Java update: Version 8 Update 371 (build 1.8.0_371-b11).

You should update Java before updating to 5.6.0

I am getting update error with 3.6.1 everytime I run admin console.  Go back to 361 no error.   Tried on PC (using mac now) and no issues.  Tried another mac same problems.

I put ticket into Oracle and UD

I traced back to when the Java Updater app which is included in the JAVA package.  If I manually run it, it works fine.  Oracle said the path is set wrong in the Admin Console Launcher.

And yes I deleted cache and applets.

Oh and if I use START everytime and not the alias to launcher I dont get any issues.

The current version of Java is build 1.8.0_371-b11. At least for Windows.

I did the update yesterday. I initially got an error code and had to follow the provided link to download an upgrade file separately. I followed instructions and all was well. I then updated to firmware v5.6.0.

Now that I have my eisy running on 5.6, I as able to test the i3 rotary dimmer model D501.  Progress.  The dimmer's on/off status controlled at the switch is now refected in the AC.  Also the %brightness controlled by the dimmer is accurately reflected in the AC.  It will beep on command from the AC.  Still can't set some of the parameters.  The ramp rate stays stuck at 9.0 minutes, on level and backlight can't be adjusted.  When the ramp rate problem is fixed, I'd go ahead and install these.  They're very attractive, intuitive and my spouse likes them a lot better than the paddles.  Also I can't get the ramp rate seen in the AC when it is adjusted manually.

Odd, I'm able to adjust the ramp rate.  I have mine set on 0.5 seconds, and I can change it.  I do notice that to get the green "Writing" icon to quit displaying I have to toggle the dimmer on/off from the AC, then the icon goes away and the ramp rate is set properly.  I haven't tried the backlight yet, as I'll likely never change it due to where these dimmers will be located.
