  1. Hi gweepmose, Can you get to ISY using the https address at all (using a browser)? With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi Waketech, Xathros is correct: in case of programs, the values are updated if and only if something changes. This said, the original question was about the thermostat not sending status updates as they change. Has this been solved? With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi Seth, I thought iRule already does that. Does it not? For subscription to work, you need to make sure iRule keeps the subscription socket open. With kind regards, Michel
  4. Michel Kohanim replied to ravedog's topic in ISY994
Hi ravedog, No mostly because there are no websocket client implementations that support authentication out of the box (yet). ISY supports web sockets so when those libraries become available it'll be much easier to move some functionality into HTML5/AJAX. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi larryllix, NOOOO ... the shipping version is INSTEON and Z-Wave and not Zigbee/Z-Wave (which is also possible). Zigbee is its own protocol and has nothing to do with Z-Wave. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hello gweempose and Bob P., I am so very sorry to hear. I suspect you might have a firewall on your computer which exclusions for your 99 but not your 994. Please try accessing your ISY using HTTPS (click on the Add button on your ISY finder, and then put https://your.isy.ip.address). If that works, then the problem is firewall related. If this is not the case, please don't hesitate to contact our tech support (links below). With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hi ENgStar, I am so very sorry to hear. Yes, please go to Configuration | Networking | Network Resources, look for an entry with ID of 76, delete it and save. if that does not work: 1. Telnet to ISY 2. Login 3. At the prompt type: RF /CONF/NET/76.res With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi Mike, That's the issue (very low link count). Now, please remove the thermostat from ISY and then link it back in. If you do get events, then it means that the PLM has lost its links. Have you recently changed PLMs? If so, have you already done File | Restore Modem or File | Restore Devices? With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi WakeTech, Please also check the number of links in the PLM (Tools | Diagnostics | Show PLM Link Table) and then click on the Count button. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi QuakeTen, Please do not hesitate to contact our tech support team (links below). With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hello everyone, Since HAM is committed to fixing all the issues, I have started a new topic: http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/14256-ham-weather-issues/ Please post: 1. Issues with Personal Web Stations ... it's very important to post station ID and link (if you have any) 2. Issues with Rain Today especially if it does not reset after midnight local time + station ID Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi sandpiper, I am so very sorry to hear about the problems you are having. The best thing to do would be to submit a ticket so that we can address all these issues more expeditiously rather than the wait/reply paradigm in the forum. The links are below. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hi Waketech, Are you certain this is not a ZTH .. if so - and if on battery - this is normal. Otherwise, please check the number of links in your PLM: for INSTEON devices to report their status, there must be a link in the PLM and if you reach 800 or more, then you will not get any status updates. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi IM, I totally understand and, at this point, we might have to look for an alternative. This is not good at all. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi mikeduck, I want to clarify that currently we have concrete plans to support Zigbee HA devices. Furthermore, if we were to support them, it would break existing Zigbee support since HA is a completely different protocol. We shall investigate Zigbee HA once we are in 5.0 alpha cycle but, unfortunately, I really cannot give you an ETA since it seems that there's always something there to slow us down. With kind regards, Michel
  16. HI MCNI, I am so very sorry. Please try: 1. Clear your Java cache 2. Go to http://isy.universal-devices.com/994i/admin16.jnlp (this URL will always point to the latest) With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi windrockwater, Thanks so very much for your loyalty! It's really up to you which one you want to go with. If you never used the IR functionality, then the cheap $99.00 would suffice. If you have a PRO (I do not think you do), then I strongly suggest remaining with the PRO. And, as always, you can contact our tech support and we'll help you figure out which one is best for you. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi ravedog, Unfortunately not since WB completely changed their APIs so we will have to go through yet another development cycle with WB. And this will require licensing from WB (cannot do it below the radar). Apart from glitches that are slowly being fixed, what is it you need that's in WB and not in HAM? With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi LeeG, as always, 100% correct. Hi Dale, I am so very sorry that you have to go through this. Please note the following: 1. For those who do not wish to upgrade, we offer a full refund of the climate module ($49.00) 2. For those who upgrade, all modules are transferable free of charge http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-994i_Series:Migrating_To_Your_ISY-994i With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hello EricK, I am so very sorry for missing this post. My first question: When you noticed the issue first, could you trigger wet/dry (clicking the set button) in the original location or only after you moved it to the kitchen? Also, please do not hesitate to contact our tech support. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi IM, Thanks so very much for the details. I appreciate it very much and NO you are not over-complicating things. We should be able to have at least the same level of accuracy as WeatherBug. I am going to contact them again. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi LeeG, precisely, and thank you. Hi eyost, just wanted to extend our welcome to you and mention that our tech support team (links below) is always avaiable to help with your questions including programming help. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hi Mike, Thanks so very much. LeeG also provided diagnostics (Thank you LeeG). It's definitely a bug and will be fixed. The only issue is that these devices report their battery status upon query. So, we have to figure out a way to allow that. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi IM, Response from HAM: And, another: With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi Mike, As Xathros suggested, none of those devices can be queried and are NOT queried. Furthermore, the fact that they are responding, in and of itself, is quite strange. They should be asleep and not responding. My hypothesis thus far: 1. Those addresses are not for door sensors 2. Door sensors are alive for some reason You can mimic query at restart by Right Mouse click on ISY node | Query. Please open the Event Viewer on level 3, do the aforementioned, save the contents and send to support@universal-devices.com. With kind regards, Michel
