  1. Hi Rich, PLM restore should not take that long even if you have 1000s of devices. I very much suspect the issue being communication issue. Has anything changed in your electrical system? Did you try moving the PLM to a different outlet? With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hello osurh18, I am so very sorry. Please try http://isy.universal-devices.com/99i . (note the isy.). With kind regards, MIchel
  3. Hello ccclap, Yes, correct. You can have multiple outputs on at the same time (outside of a scene) with EZIO. You cannot do that with EZFlora. With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi Mike, I am so very sorry to hear. Is this a 99 or 994. If 994, please upgrade to 4.2.8. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi RichTJ99, Please try moving the PLM to a different outlet. Have you contacted our support? With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi DWalker, 1. Yes, irrigation module works properly but you may have too large of a irrigation requirement after two days 2. In the same cycle? If not, yes, certainly. Please note that irrigation requirements get updated if and only if: - You issue Cycle Complete ... - Amount of rain at the end of day ... So, you may want to do Cycle Complete only after you are done with the rest of the zones (not just sprinklers). With kind regards, Michel
  7. Thanks Teken. This is what I want you to do: 1. Tools | Clear Error Log 2. telnet to ISY (open a terminal window and type "telnet isy's.ip.address", log in using your credentials. At the prompt, type DON followed by enter 3. Clear your Java cache: http://www.java.com/en/download/help/plugin_cache.xml 4. Delete ALL bookmarks to ISY's remote IP address. For this test, you can NOT use the remote IP address of ISY 5. Go to http://isy.universal-devices.com/994i/4.2.8/admin.jnlp ... this will install an icon on your desktop and brings up the Admin Console. If it does not, click on the Add button and enter http://your.isy's.ip.address. This icon is the one that you MUST use for this test and NO other methods 6. Wait for the Admin Console to hang. Once hung, either write down the error messages or screenshots PLUS what you were trying to do at that time 7. Restart the Admin Console 8. Go to Tools | Error Log and save it 9. Send me both the error log (# AND whatever you have created in #6 to support@universal-devices.com Thank you. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Thanks Teken, Anything else? With kind regards, Michel
  9. Thank you. Anything other errors above and beyond: Socket Open Failed java net Socket time out exception, XML Parse Error Proxy Device Process Event, With kind regards, Michel
  10. Teken, I have already gone through the certificate popup reason with you on the phone. I am sorry if you don't like the answer but that's what it is. At the moment, ALL I need from you is the contents of the "nagging" errors you get. NOTHING else please please please please. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Teken, Let's start with the 30%. Please let me know exactly what "... the never ending JAVA pop ups in various nag prompts appear" are. I do not need screenshots. I just need the errors you are getting. As far as ISY taking down GEM and Dashbox, well, that's pretty hard to digest. It might be the other way around as ISY does not send anything to GEM and Dashbox. Xathros, if ISY runs out of network buffers, you will see them in the error log. The last time I checked Teken's error logs they were pretty clean except for a few instances of queues being full (which points to infinite loop in programs). This said, the fact that restarting UI fixes the issue 70% of the time makes me suspect the network. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi Xathros, at the moment I think the problem is a GUI hang and not ISY performance problem. Hi Teken, thank you: A. Do energy readings populate? Yes, then stop updating at random times / intervals. B. Is ISY still slow and unresponsive? Yes, again at random times with no frequency or duration when this may happen. So, what happens if you restart the UI? Does A and B still hold? In short, when energy readings stop, etc. and if you restart the UI (not ISY), everything goes back to normal. Correct or not correct? With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hi Teken, thanks for the details. I think our discussion is going into an infinite loop since there are multiple issues that are being juxtaposed into a narrative that makes troubleshooting pretty much impossible. Please answer these question with Yes/No only (yes, i know you have spent gazillion hours and you cannot use ISY for your home automation, etc.): When ISY freezes, the clock stops, the readings stop and then you have to restart the UI (Ctrl + Alt + Delete), what happens when UI is restarted: A. Do energy readings populate? B. Is ISY still slow and unresponsive? With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi Teken, The first question is why would you think this specific program contributes to ISY performance issues? As I remember correctly, you have 100s of other programs. Before jumping to any conclusions, I strongly suggest figuring out why you have performance problems with ISY. The first thing I would do is to disable all programs related to GEM. If performance gets better, then we know the problem is with those programs and at which time we can address accordingly. If not, then we'll have to figure out what is the culprit. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi apostolakisl, I think Stu meant "broadcast" address which is 100% correct. With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hello DWalker, I am so very sorry to hear. Would you be kind enough to submit a ticket (links below)? With kind regards, Michel
  17. LeeG, As always, you are 100% correct! With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi johnnyt, Are you looking for something like irrigation module but instead of calculating irrigation requirement it would calculate snow-melt requirement? With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi Cassius, Welcome aboard! Looks pretty good. With kind regards, Michel
  20. I am so very sorry. We did have a mail server failure yesterday so if you are using the Default account, this must have been the likely cause. It's always best to use your own SMTP account. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi jmed999, Rain Today means rain from 12:00 AM this morning. Of course there was an issue with HAM which accumulated all these values. They were supposed to have it fixed by the 14th. I am going to check with them again. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi jay5, Sincere apologies. I suspect OpenSSL uses SHA2 ... please upgrade to 4.2.8 (or 9 to be out today) and retry. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hi Xathros, Just to clarify: That's the case IF AND ONLY IF the IR module ($40.00) was purchased separately. In short, you cannot get a 994 upgrade for a 99i/IR and simply install the IR sensor. The reason is that the product type is NOT IR and since there have not been any IR modules in the database, then there's nothing to transfer. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi ravedog, Would you be kind enough to test this UI: http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/13832-alpha-admin-console-new-features/ With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi paulbates, Unfortunately not. Once the PAN is selected and ISY is joined to the meter, then it's tied to that meter forever. With kind regards, Michel
