  1. Hello phawtrey, I am so very sorry to hear. I suspect you have a 994i Z series. In short, the problem is that ISY cannot communicate with the PLM the causes of which are: 1. The cable between ISY and PLM is defective. Please try a different cable 2. The PLM is defective ... (majority of cases) 3. ISY is defective ... ( So, I would start with a new cable and then if that does not work, I would order a new PLM. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi markarmer, I am so very sorry to hear. I do agree that there should always be other safeguards for something so important. jmed999 is semi correct: supporting different weather stations is an extremely huge task. Of course, we would certainly entertain it if there's more demand. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hello Mr. Lawrence, Can you please remove all certificates in Java Control Panel especially those belonging to Universal Devices, Inc. Once that is done, please do make sure to clear your Java cache. And, finally, please go to: http://isy.universal-devices.com/99i/4.0.3/admin.jnlp Please keep me posted. With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi LeeG, -2 = Device Communication Error -1 = Request Failed Error With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi GeneInSoCal, Actually we were the first gateway they ever tested and there was a mass confusion as to how it should be tested (for instance, they considered it a UPnP Router). For instance, they opened the unit and decided that hardware programming pins are security risks! In any case, they did not approve ISY to be listed on their website. This said, you should have no problem connecting to the meter. Please do make sure you have 4.0.3 installed, figure out the length of Install Code (default is 32), and then follow the instructions here: http://www.universal-devices.com/docs/p ... 994iZS.pdf . If you have any problems, please do let us know. With kind regards, Michel
  6. snowtech, http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index ... _vs_Status You do need to use Control because you want the Wait to restart as long as there's motion in the past two minutes. Status will not work because in this scenario, status does Not change. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hi KenN, Those values are not work in progress and are actually used if you have: Smart Meter and are sent a Demand Response event Using OpenADR and are sent a Demand Response event With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi Ken, Please note that the issue is not related to all Weather stations but those that are in the backyard reporting to WeatherBug. There are always alternatives for everything. The main question is development/testing/regression testing times and the benefits. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi KenN, I do not recommend polling more frequently than every 20 seconds. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi jmed999, Currently we have no plans of supporting anything tablet related. There are basically too many operating systems and not much that works on all (except Javascript which has its own compatibility issues across different browsers, screen resolutions, operating systems). With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi snowtech, Wait can be interrupted. This means that if the condition changes while waiting, then statements after wait are NOT executed and the program stops till next time the condition becomes true. On the other hand, if the program keeps becoming true while in wait, the program restarts wait afresh. So, what you want something like this: If Status Garage Door is not off And ( Control Motion Sensor is Switched On And Control Motion Sensor is not Switched Off ) Then Wait 2 minutes Call the other program With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi Walt, That's excellent news. Next Tuesday any time after 9:30 AM PDT will work for me. With kind regards, Michel

  23. Hi Walt, I am not having any fun! I wished we could get PG&E, you, and I on the same call/remote session and figure out what's going on. This said, thanks so very much for your optimism and vote of confidence. They do mean a lot. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi wwat, Fan status is really not Fan Status but it's what you did to the fan THROUGH ISY. The real fan status is the Fan Node. This has been the case since time immemorial and there are no changes. Xathros, thanks so very much for the detailed analysis and help. Are you using the Applet or JNLP? If Applet, which browser are you using? With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi Kevin, Perfect. Thank you ... at least we have something to work on which is well defined and can be implemented. I have added it to our Mantis #96. With kind regards, Michel
