  1. Mr. Moore, Are you certain that NOTHING changed? Please note that cycle complete uses the following algorithm: Absorption Factor * Water Applied per Irrigation Cycle. So, if absorption factor is less than 100%, then the number might be too small for you to notice. I just made a simple test and it works fine here. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi John, My pleasure. That's the first I am hearing about this situation. I do not have Java 1.6 installed on my MAC at all and it works. Are you certain? With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi LeeG, Thanks so very much for the details. Just performed a simple test and sure enough on level cannot be set. Will do more investigation and keep you posted. With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi LeeG, Thanks so very much for clarifications as I was a little confused. So: 1. Latching mode 2. If relay is a responder to a scene and the on level for IOLinc relay is set to 0, then: -->On, turns IOLinc Relay Off -->Off, turns IOLinc Relay On Correct? With kind regards, Michel
  5. Mr. Moore, What ISY firmware are you on? With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi dbook88, On IE, you can do http://userid:password@ISY's_URL ... this only works on IE. With kind regards, Michel
  7. jwilliams, I am so very sorry to hear about all these problems you have been having. Please note that, from your previous posts, I am very much certain that most of the issues you are dealing with are network related. So, if you have not rebooted your ISY yet, can you please just restart the Admin Console and let me know if you still see the progress report at 58%? And, just to save you time in the future, please do NOT use crawl function because in all likelihood there are multiple half links/orphaned links in each devices and thus you are going to have many unexplained events relating to those devices. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Thank you all for your wonderful and heartwarming support and posts. i814u2, I am so very sorry. The problem is that 994i Z firmware cannot be applied to 3.2.6 (it didn't exist when 3.2.6 was released). So, please do be kind enough to use 994i firmware. And, if you are using INSTEON/PLM, you do NOT have to change to 994i Z firmware. The only difference between the two is that in 994i Z does not go to Safe Mode if PLM is not installed. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi bsobel, It's really not about the radio but incompatibility between stacks. For instance, SEP requires ECC and authentication. HA requires a specific link key for discovery and there are a lot of limitations as far as what you can do with the nodes. PRO is devoid of anything and just uses Zigbee for communications. It's a major effort to support multiple profiles mostly because PRO devices (such as Brultech/RCS) use Digi radios which have a completely different end point, profile, and cluster ids. So, to answer your question: theoretically possible but practically requires a major kludge of a solution and, in all likelihood, not a clean/reliable one. With kind regards, Michel
  10. LeeG, thanks as always. Hello johnnyt, Yes, of course you may. The main difficulty is that, above and beyond what you have reported, Trigger Reverse causes major issues with ISY simply because IOLinc decides to return the opposite state when queried. Quite a mess. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hello djones1415, If you are on 1.7.11 (you can verify by going to Java Properties in Control Panel), then you are OK Sometimes, you might have to reboot computer for some of these settings to take effect No. This said, I recommend not using a browser at all: viewtopic.php?f=44&t=10409&p=79281#p79281 Although the risk is very low, here's the high level view: all ISYs come out of factory with the same security certificate. So: 1. IF you are accessing your ISY remotely AND 2. IF you have the default certificate AND 3. IF someone manages to crack ISY's default certificate AND 4. IF they know your IP address/port --> Then they can sniff/decrypt the traffic between you and your ISY and figure out your password. The best thing to do would be to install a Self-Signed Certificate. The instructions are pretty simple and, in case you have any problems, please contact us and we'll help you. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi bsobel, A sigh ... in Zigbee world life is not so simple. We are working on an HA stack but the main problem is that if we use HA, then we cannot do regular PRO stuff because they are not compatible. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hi John, I am so very sorry for all the problems you have been having lately with Java/Admin Console. I also wanted to respond to your comment vis-a-vis JQuery: you're correct and we'll surely consider once persistent browser/server connections are more prevalent (otherwise, Admin Console has to keep querying ISY). As far as the problem you are having, may I humbly suggest opening a ticket and scheduling a call. This way, we can log into your computer and address the issue immediately. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hello mbking, Noted and thanks so very much for your feedback. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hello djones1415, Yes, indeed. Please upgrade your Java to 1.7.11 (http://www.java.com/getjava) and retry. With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hello ffpllc, I am so very sorry to hear. At this point, I strongly suggest you contact our tech support team so that we can schedule a call and figure out what's going on. I think you have already waited too long for a resolution. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi jwilliams, I am so very sorry for tardy reply as I do not work on Saturdays. Let me see if I get your configuration correctly: 1. You have two routers one is connected to the modem and the other is connected to ISY 2. The communicate via Ethernet If above is the case, then it's quite possible that either one of your routers does NOT allow traffic through for IP addresses outside those it has served up. This is for security purposes and very much depends on the router itself. I did have WRT54GL a long time ago and it certainly did NOT let traffic through. So, what is the other router and which one is connected to which? I am sure we'll figure out the optimum configuration so that you have static IP AND ISY can get out to the Internet. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hello doubler11563, I am so very sorry for all the troubles you have been having and specifically apologize for not having gotten back to you. I have gone through all tickets and I do not see you there. Please send an email directly to me and I will make sure you are taken care of: tech@universal-devices.com. With kind regards, Michel
  19. jwilliams, Please note that if you have setup your ISY with a static IP address, some routers might NOT like to allow ISY to get to the internet because the IP was not provided by them. The best test would be to go back to DHCP. If you are sill having problems, PLEASE contact our support (below) as I am sure this must have become too frustrating. With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hello hart2hart, You can try but I do not recommend it: last time we tried, a whole host of things went wrong. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi Xathros, It's stored in Java temp directory. So, if you clear Java cache or your system clears the temp, it goes away. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hello all, thanks so very much for your support! elvisimprsntr, Ah, thank you. That's certainly a bug; the problem is that ISY is multitasking and, in most cases, it's very difficult (but not impossible) to pin down the task from which the error originated. So, currently, we have a class called LastError. All it does is to collect the last two errors from any tasks. What you are seeing are those errors. In short, this has to be fixed. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hi fitzpatri8, The scene issue is UI related and in a part of the code that would have made regression testing a huge task. Hi Jim, I do very much understand your concerns and it's precisely because of these concerns that we do not take beta releases lightly. Even though this cycle has become strangely prolonged, with all honesty, I cannot fathom a day when our own internal testing, regardless of the number of hours/testers, would produce better quality code/product. The reasons are quite simple: 1. This community is passionate for making things better 2. The sheer permutation of all different devices, their firmware revisions i1/i2/i3, different PLM versions makes it extremely difficult (if not impossible) to manage "full" regression testing internally In summary, I want to thank the community again and again and a million times for your invaluable help and support without which ISY would not be what it is now. Hi elvisimprsntr, Please note that N/A, Request Failed, and all those errors you see could be completely normal depending on the device you're trying to communicate with. For instance, some might not respond at all and thus timeout. Some might respond with a status code not in 200 range. The best way to test would be to look at your error log and look for -140xxx error codes (http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index ... r_Messages ) . Once you have the exact error codes, and if you still have any questions, send the error log to support@universal-devices.com. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi Alan, Max range for ZWave is about 200ft. Best practices for ZWave suggests 6 to 8 devices to make a complete mesh. There are very many cheap GE ZWave dimmers/appliances that you can use as your repeater/mesh. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi JMC, Yes, you can use the event viewer. This said, if you have not already done so, please upgrade to 3.3.10. With kind regards, Michel
