  1. Hello south, Would you please send a screenshot to support@Universal-devices.com? With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi Michael, The best way to test this is to disable all programs in ISY that do anything to your thermostat. If there are NO programs in ISY, then ISY cannot be doing anything to the thermostat on its own. If disabling your programs stops the intermittent changes to your thermostats, then please do send us your programs and we'll surely take a look and, in case of a bug, fix it. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hello hart2hart, You got it! But, for most, it would be quite sufficient to simply restore their 99i backup on 994 and start running immediately. With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi arw01, Got your request for Wiki. Will respond shortly. Thanks so very much for your contribution. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi gatchel, Prices are in our Store link: http://www.homeorchestrator.com/UDStore ... ctPurchase With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hello gatchel, You are 100% correct in your observations: we have reached a limit of memory on 99i and thus - and in most likelihood - 3.3.7 might become our last official release for 99i (we may have some follow on bug fixes depending on the code size). It is for this reason that we have provided an unprecedented upgrade price of $109 to 994i. This said, if your system is running properly, you really do NOT have to upgrade. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Michel Kohanim replied to iostream212's topic in ISY994
Hi iostream212, You need information on OpenADR or ZS/Smart Grid? All CA utilities are going to have HAN projects next year (2013) and, at the moment, they will be using SmartGrid (not OpenADR) to send pricing information. This may change though ... With kind regards, Michel
  8. Michel Kohanim replied to iostream212's topic in ISY994
Hello iostream212, PG&E does not yet support OpenADR for residential venues. This said, if you have a 994i ZS, you might be able to get on the HAN pilot starting in 1/15. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hello all, I am happy to announce the availability of our 3.3.7 (RC4) release! For a list of changes, please take a look at this post. This is a very minor release fixing a minor bug in 994iZS series and hopefully one which will become our official release. Know Issues - None Things to test: -List from 3.3.6: -- SSL Communications with ELK which requires ISY994 PRO Series (Configuration instructions) -- File | Themes -- Accessibility using Alt key and keyboard accelerators -- Outdoor On/Off Module 2634_222 -- SwitchLinc Dimmer 2478D -New -- 994iZS ... when dropped from the meter, no longer binds to clusters Important Information 1. Important Brultech module is no longer supported on ISY99 Series. Please contact sales@universal-devices.com for options 2. Important NetBios removed from ISY99 Series. You can no longer access ISY by going to http://isy on Windows 3. Important If you have a 994, you will need to re-install a certificate. Please review ISY994 Series Advanced Network Security Configuration for more information. 4. Important We have removed SSLv2 support (very insecure) from ISY99/ISY994. Unfortunately, the only protocol supported by MAC with Java 1.6 is SSLv2. As such, you MUST upgrade your MAC to Java 1.7 (Software Update) 4. Please note that Safari does not support SSL session reuse and thus might take an exorbitant amount of time to communicate with ISY. As such, when using 2048 bit SSL, it's best not to use Safari. 5. If you are using the Irrigation Module and are upgrading from releases prior to 3.1.5, you must edit the programs using Irrigation variables and save the programs again. Irrigation module is no longer on promotion 6. Upgrading from 3.1.3 and below: If you are using WeatherBug Module's Rain Today in your programs, please note that the precision has changed from 1/10 to 1/100 and thus your programs might not run properly 7. For a discussion of variables, please look at our Program Variables forum. Instructions: 1. Please backup your ISY (File | Backup ISY). If you are backing up a 3.1.6 system, please note that the backups are corrupted. If you have a backup from prior releases, you should be OK 2. Please download the firmware for your platform - please do not unzip ISY 99i Series ISY 994i Series ISY 994i Z & ZS Series 3. Login to the Admin Console and choose Help | Manually Upgrade [the name of your system] 4. Choose the file saved in step 2 5. After the upgrade, ISY reboots. Please do ensure to clear your Java Cache 6. IMPORTANT Once upgrade is completed and ISY reboots, use any of the following methods to access your ISY's Admin Console: a. http://your.isy.ip.address/admin - applet --- Security Warning: Due to recent Java security problems, it's best to always use method #d b. http://your.isy.ip.address/admin.jnlp - Java application c. http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/3.3.7 - applet --- Security Warning: Due to recent Java security problems, it's best to always use method #d d. http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/3.3.7/admin.jnlp - Java application Best method to access Admin Console Dashboard - http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/3. ... board.jnlp 8. Please backup your system again Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi Mike, That's very normal. It allows you to enter URL of remote ISYs as well. So, if this is on your laptop, you can enter the URL for your ISY at home and don't have to open the browser to get to it. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi Starmanj, Thank you. The link limit for status updates is different from the total links limit supported by the PLM. Next test is to remove the thermostat and add it back. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hello bjhanson3, Change control to status and let me know the outcome please. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hi Mike, Not at all: 994/99 UIs are identical. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hello to_lighter, Long time no see! 1. Try accessing ISY's HTTPS port locally using https:// ... if that does not work, then the issue is https related 2. Are you certain port 443 is not being forwarded to anything else? With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi starmanj, All status changes from the thermostat should immediately appear in the Admin Console. I suspect that your thermostat is not sending any change of state events back to the PLM. This could be attributed to 3 things: 1. You have too many links in the PLM. To verify, go to Tools | Diagnostics | Show PLM Links Table ... Start, wait for it to complete, and then click the Count button 2. Your thermostat is not registered in ISY properly. To validate, remove the thermostat, makes sure it's in the off position and then add it back using Start Linking method 3. The thermostat is defective. If neither of the above - and barring communication issues - you should get the thermostat replaced With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi Gary, No plans yet! Need more demand. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi Ed, In addition to Brian's questions above, please note that rebooting ISY has no bearing on communications between devices. My recommendation is to NOT reboot ISY before contacting our tech support. It would be best to login to your computer and see what's going on. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi oberkc, Thanks so very much. So, basically, some variation of upgrade/restore is restoring the wrong mode in the KPL. We have to figure out where the problem is. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi jmed999, Rain information for some CA stations are non-existent. Light rates are not reported by all stations. So, in most cases, the customers do not really know if light information exists. With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hi ejh3, Without details, it would be quite difficult figuring out what problems you are having and why you need to reboot ISY. Why do you have to reboot ISY? With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi munchee, Then, and unfortunately so, the unit is defective. I am so very sorry. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi jmed999, That's excellent news! The most important thing is rain and light data ... we have communicated with them in the past but nothing came out of it. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hi ejh3, Which device did you have to reboot 3 times and what's your ISY's firmware version? And, what you are trying to accomplish? Putting the load as a responder means that when you turn on/off the load, the sub button is not going to reflect the correct status. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hello munchee, Are you certain Error or Error/Mem lights on the front of the unit are not blinking continuously? With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi nexus, Also, please go to Tools | Diagnostics | PLM Status/Info and make sure you are NOT in safe mode (it must show the PLM firmware version + "connected"). With kind regards, Michel
