  1. Hi all, Admin Console freezing is reproducible and has already been fixed. Jeff, the program that you expected to run, for what time was it? With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi Jerry, Trying to reproduce. Hi Dennis, No problem. We have to fix this once and for all!!! Would you mind contacting our support with a couple of time intervals during which we can contact you and log in to your computer remotely? Our hours are from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM PST. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi Illusion, Testing ... will report back! Thanks so very much and with kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi Rob, I am not sure what to think ... There are basically two cases: 1. The program is NOT run ... you can test this by looking at the last runtime column in the Program Summary tab. You may want to issue a query on My Lighting to test 2. The program is run but the notification is NOT sent ... two cases: a. In Error Log, please check for SMTP errors (-5000x) b. The condition is not evaluated correctly ... check the Logs to see if the status is correct and it jives with your program With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hello Traditore, The first question is what is your ISY's firmware level? Secondly, we really need to take a look at the Error logs. If you wish, you can send them to support@universal-devices.com and we'll take a look. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hello rgn2000, Thanks the issue is the IOLinc ... older versions reported the status of the sensor as the status of the relay and thus all the errors. Please do be kind to get it replaced. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hello dnl, The behavior has not changed and the fact that Test button works tells me that communications are OK. As far as the second problem, it would be great if we could have more information to reproduce. Currently, we have not been able to reproduce. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi Walt, Also, it seems that there's something in the configuration that ISY does not like. If you continue having problems, please: 1. Revert to 2.7.15 2. Change your password to admin/admin 3. Backup your ISY 4. Send the backup to support@universal-devices.com I do apologize for the inconvenience. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hello Avonlea22, You would want to change the on level and ramp rates on the device itlsef (not in the scene) during your desired time periods. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hello rgn2000, What type of sensors are these? If IOLinc and an older version, they did have a bug where the status of the sensor was sent as the status of the relay. If you are not getting any notifications on demand, then do see the status of the sensor change when you open/close the garage in the Admin Console? If not, then perhaps there's no link in the PLM. You might want to try Right Mouse Click on the device and then choose Restore Device. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi Traditore, Do you have any other RF devices? If so, do they respond? I suspect the dongle itself but it might be the Access Points that's why testing against other RF devices would be quite useful. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi Illusion, Can you copy/paste your program and the email content here? With kind regards, Michel
  13. Traditore, Did you make sure that your thermostat is in OFF mode before linking? If so, and if you are certain that you are within range of your access points, then I have to believe that the dongle has gone bad. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi gadgetfreak, As kingwr correctly suggested, your devices NEED to have links (master) in the PLM. Please go to Tools | Diagnostics | Show PLM Links Table, once done, click on the Count button. You should have AT LEAST 1.5x as many links in your PLM as the number of devices (KPL 6 button counts as 6). If the number is anything lower, then in all likelihood either the PLM is defective or someone has done a factory reset on it. To rectify, you can try File | Restore Modem (PLM). With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hello all, I am happy to announce the availability of our 3.1.0 release which includes program variable functionality! Things to test: Variables! For a discussion of variables, please look at the new Program Variables forum viewforum.php?f=68 For a list of changes, please take a look at this post: viewtopic.php?t=6015 Notes: 1. ISY-26 is no longer included in the firmware builds 2. Due to the sensitive nature of supporting MorningLinc, users now must agree to terms and conditions upon Admin Console start up otherwise the dialog keeps popping up every time the Admin Console is started Instructions: 1. Please backup your ISY (File | Backup ISY) 2. Please download the firmware for your platform - please do not unzip ISY 99i Series: http://www.universal-devices.com/update ... _3.1.0.zip 3. Important Due to invalid Java certificate chain in releases 2.8.5 and above, please make sure to remove all Universal Devices certificates from Java: a. Close all browser sessions b. Open Java Control Panel (Java Preferences on MAC) c. Click on the Security tab. Remove all Universal Devices certificates (on MAC, click on the '-' button at the bottom) e. Clear your Java Cache ( http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... Java_Cache ) 4. Login to the Admin Console and choose Help | Manually Upgrade [the name of your system] 5. Choose the file saved in step 2 MAC users: if upgrade fails, please add https://your.isy.ip.address to ISY Finder (see 3f above) 6. After the upgrade, ISY reboots. Please do ensure to clear your Java Cache: http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... Java_Cache 7. IMPORTANT Once upgrade is completed and ISY reboots, use any of the following methods to access your ISY's Admin Console: a. http://isy/admin - applet (Windows only) b. http://isy/admin.jnlp - Java application (Windows only) c. http://your.isy.ip.address/admin - applet d. http://your.isy.ip.address/admin.jnlp - Java application e. http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/3.1.0 - applet f. http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/3.1.0/admin.jnlp - Java application 8. IMPORTANT If you have already installed a self signed certificate and your current firmware is 2.7.10 and below, you must reinstall a new one: http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... rtificates Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
  16. Hello wrj0, I would probably be more frustrated. I cannot stand unexplainable behavior. Please do keep us posted with any other anomaly. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hello james0avery, Sincere apologies for the inconvenience. Do you have any firewall software? If so, please do ensure that your ISY is listed in the trusted zone/White list. If you are still having problems, please do contact our support (link below), and we'll try to upgrade remotely. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi arzoo, Quite strange indeed. Is it possible at all to move ISY to a different location just for testing? If you have 2413S and other dual band devices, the problem might NOT be on the powerline side but the RF side. Moving ISY away would help us figure out what the problem could be. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi Bruce, Welcome! Releases numbers are based on the extent of changes in the release. So, if we have a major release, the major number changes (i.e. 2.x.x to 3.x.x). The second number is the release number. We do have 3.0.x internally but since we added major changes to address our features on our other lines, we chose 3.1.x so that all products are in synch. With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hello wrj0, One of the problems is that in 2.7.15 ISY didn't report on DNS/network errors as extensively as it does now. So, that might be one of the reasons you see so many of them in 2.8.16. The first thing I would check is the interval between DNS errors for the WB module. If it's NOT equal to your polling interval, then it seems that the problem is that there are some DNS errors and they correct themselves. The other thing that might help is to change your ISY's IP configuration to DHCP (with a reserved IP address) and see if that improves the situation. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi Chris, Please note that disabling firewall does not help with packet filtering. Is it possible to make sure that your ISY is in the trusted/white list on your firewall? If you don't mind, would you please send your URL (and change userid/password to admin/admin) to tech@universal-devices.com. I'll try to upgrade remotely and then we'll figure out the next steps. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi, Sorry, got a response from SmartHome ... this is a bug and shall be fixed. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hello champjo, I do not think iMeter can handle negative numbers. I have sent an email to SmartHome for clarification. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi Jeff, Please note that whatever you do with SmartLinc is going to WIPE OUT whatever ISY has done. Unless you have a defective PLM, this explains all the symptoms (including the fact that restore fixed it). To use SmartLinc just for a nice UI sounds like a LOT of money for so little. There are a variety of third party and specifically iPad applications in the third party section. I strongly recommend decommissioning your SmartLinc for good. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi Orest, All I can say is that I am envious! With kind regards, Michel
