  1. Hello Brian, Thanks so very much. Next time this happens, would you be kind enough to remove the thermostat dongle and see whether or not the problem goes away? Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
  2. Hello ELA, Thanks so very much for the update. May I trouble you to retry DHCP one more time? This time, please do the following: 1. Go to Admin Console 2. Configuration | System | Network section 3. Check the DHCP checkbox 4. Save Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
  3. Hello porscheguy, I'll see what we can do to support this feature. With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hello ergodic, Thanks so very much. This seems to be related to the 64 bit version of IE and FireFox when used with Java plugin. Please continue using the application (/99i/admin.jnlp) which searches and finds your ISY on the network. For remote access, use the application, click on the Add button, and then add the URL for your ISY. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hello porscheguy, Unfortunately not yet. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hello ergodic, Wow, this is something I had not seen since JRE 1.5 (4 years ago). This is surely a Java bug and it seems that there's an object without an allocated memory. What happens if you use the application (instead of the applet): http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/admin.jnlp ? With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hi ELA, Thanks so very much. And it fails with DHCP, correct (i.e. you have DHCP checked in Configuration | System | Network)? With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hello lapolonyc, Which issue? You cannot access your ISY? With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hello smm6321, Please try reseating the SD Card and retry. Are you connecting your Hyperterminal to Port B? Please do not do a factory reset! With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hello Orest, Unfortunately there's no way for ISY to know that the PLM has been power cycled. In Configuration | System tab, there's an option called Query at restart. If this is checked, every time ISY reboots, it queries all devices. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hello ELA, Sincere apologies for tardy reply. Most routers assign the same IP address for the same device (based on MAC address/unique ID of a network device) unless that address has already been claimed by something else. So, the fact that you got the same IP address is OK. This said, I am quite hesitant declaring victory. DHCP should work fine and using static configuration especially if you are not using the router's IP as DNS is a cause for concern. Would you be kind enough to change the DNS server address on ISY to the IP address of your router and retry? If this fails, you can always go back to the external DNS server as you have it setup now. Please do keep me posted. With kind regards, Michel
  12. dnl and LeeG, I am wondering whether or not Motion Sensors have the same problem as Thermostat dongles. Do you have any thermostats and do they ever lock up? With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hello helipal, If the last run time column indicates that the program didn't actually run, then the problem might be that your programs are in a folder with a condition (they are not going to run since the condition on the folder or its parent folders are evaluated to false). With kind regards, Michel
  14. I also think it's a good idea ... we have many plans for the UI which we are slowly introducing. This might be one of them. Currently, the only problem is that Java standard libraries do not have Tree/Table classes. We would have to use an external library (we have prototypes of this feature) which is an additional 1.5MB. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi Martin, Noted and thanks so very much for the feedback. With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi Vipola, That would be the Path column in Program Summary. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hello ELA, Before spending too much more time on this issue, it's best to call our support and schedule a call. You do NOT have to know anything about DNS and in 99% of the cases, DHCP should work fine. If you get blinking MEM/Error lights even though you are on DHCP, then there are three possibilities: 1. ISY is trying to renew the lease and it's taking a little longer 2. There's another device with the same IP address on your network 3. ISY cannot reach your router If you look at the Error Log, you will get much more details as far as which one is causing the issue. If your ISY is connected to your router via a switch, then try connecting it directly (if possible) to the router. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi polexian, Loops are quite interesting! Of course a limited one can be use using Repeat. By web interface do you mean HTML interface? With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hello Vipola, We are hoping to include ELK in this cycle so I would assume it's going to be in months. iostream212 ... I love your signature. I feel the same! As andyf0 suggested, please try 8 minutes. With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hi Martin, That would be even worse since packets can be spoofed and have their MAC address/source address changed. Now, can you tell me what specific functions within ISY would you like to be able to control without login? If it's only a subset of everything that you can do from the Admin Console, then the best solution would be to have multi-level user authorization (i.e. admin, guest, etc.) which we have already planned. If you want a blanket No credentials for all requests, then unfortunately, I do not think we would be able to support it. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi Martin, No and we have resisted very hard in supporting this feature! This is especially crucial since ISY can arm/disarm ELK security systems and we would basically be opening a security hole. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi thruster999, Thank you. It's confirmed to be a bug and shall be fixed in the next release. Nick, Are you saying that the state of the program is set to true because the conditions are both false? If so, I do not think there's any way out of it since programs are either true or false. If not, elaborate a bit please. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hello io_guy, Yes, that's what we are using and it's excellent that we could reuse the same code for DSC! We'll surely contact you as soon as we are ready to support DSC (if you don't mind). With kind regards, Michel
  24. Rod and wwat, Thanks so very much for the feedback. Working on it. thruster999: LED brightness levels for what types of devices? With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hello kd7iyt, Not yet but we are working on enhanced ELK module which should provide you with that functionality. With kind regards, Michel
