  1. Hi someguy, Thanks so very much. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hello keribi, Would you be kind enough to use: 72.14.253.109 for the SMTP server field? This is the IP address for gmail. With kind regards, Michel

Hi Michael, There will be a ONE time cost which we'll charge the user (between $49.00 to $69.00). We'll take care of the per-use fees which we have to pay to WeatherBug. With kind regards, Michel Michael, Is that a cost to the user, or the UD? Thanks for responding so quick. Michael

Hi Michael, You'll be able to get WeatherBug data which, in most cases, is updated instantly. We like WeatherBug for two reasons: 1. Though there are some costs involved, we do not have to pay monthly licensing fees ($500+/month) 2. The data is updated instantaneously The drawback is that you have to use one of their stations (in most cases within 3 miles of your location). With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi Joe, In the recipient field, do you have your email address? With kind regards, Michel Should I have done something different? Joe
  6. Hi Joe, Do you have your email address setup in the recipients field? With kind regards, Michel

Hi Gary, It's not 100% complete yet. Please give us a couple of weeks. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hello keribi, Would you be kind enough to test our gmail account: Userid/account/From = isyalerts@gmail.com password = holamola SMTP Server = smtp.gmail.com Port = 587 Use TLS = checked Let me know if this works. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hello porter, I am so very sorry to hear this. What I suggest is: 1. Install the latest version of Java 2. If you have any firewall software, please review this forum to disable/resolve firewall issues: http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewforum.php?f=3 3. Go to http://www.universal-devices.com/99i and login 4. Upgrade as you would normally With kind regards, Michel

Hello paulbram, If you have a small installation, it's always better to start fresh since some automation systems create half links which will cause you a lot of confusion and heartache in the long run. With kind regards, Michel
  12. iiidmaxer, I do apologize for a tardy reply. Please do not factory reset. This is a firewall issue. What type of firewall software do you have on your computer? Have you tried http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewforum.php?f=3 to find your firewall and disabling it? With kind regards, Michel
  13. Joe, do not change anything. Please look at the log and let me know if you have -5000x errors still. With kind regards, Michel The Static IP page of the router (I have a static IP assigned to me by my ISP) has 255.255.255.252 on that router page. The ISP told me to put that in there. The ISY has a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0. Which one should I change? I'm a little shy to change what the ISP Expects. Joe
  14. Joe, please do NOT import. Let's clear your Java cache first please: 1. Close all your browser windows 2. Control Panel->Java->Click on Settings 3. Click on Delete Files Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
  15. Hello Stowaway, If indeed these are the same events, then there must be a bug that we have to resolve. I shall start a root cause analysis and will keep you updated with our progress. With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi Joe, the subnet mask should be 255.255.255.0 (or whatever your router assigns to your computer as well). Do you still see -50000? With kind regards, Michel Darrell: I checked the DNS server of the router (I have a Linksys WRT54GSV4) and there are two DNS servers listed, l tried both of them and it didn't work. I DID notice one thing though: The Subnet Mask is 255.255.255.252 and the Subnet Mask in the ISY IP Config is 255.255.255.0. Would that make a difference? And if so, which one should I change? Joe
  17. Hello Keribi, Can you tell me if you see anything in the logs? Specifically, do you see -5000x? With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi Joe, What do you mean by no program information? Are your programs lost? With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi Joe, The main question is if your ISY (not your router) has a static IP address. To check, please: 1. Telnet to your ISY (telnet your.isy.ip.address) 2. Issue CT on the command line: if you get 0.0.0.0 then you are on DHCP if not you have a static IP address 3. If you have a static IP address, keep pressing the Enter button on your keyboard till you get to the DNS With kind regards, Michel I have a static IP thru my ISP and the Router has assigned 192.168.1.110 but it does not show in the status table. Where am I assigning the DNS? (Which would be 192.168.1.110) Sorry for the incompetence factor... Joe
  20. Hello Joe, My pleasure and apologies for a tardy reply (on the road again). The problem is DNS: ISY is trying to resolve universal-devices.com (it should be smtp.gmail.com) but it fails. Have you assigned a static IP address for ISY? If so, what did you use as your DNS server? If not, then in all likelihood ISY is not getting the DNS server from your router. You can always test by: 1. Assign a static IP address for ISY 2. For DNS, please use the same IP address as you find in the status page of your router. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hello someguy, 2.7 is mostly geared toward i2 and module support with emphasis on i2. Modules are extra features, at additional cost, such as integration with Weatherbug, Brultech meters, Network utilities, and plugin interfaces (UI). With kind regards, Michel
  22. Michel Kohanim replied to jamesx0's topic in ISY994
jamesx0, Records starting with 22 are logically deleted. You should NOT delete them since ISY will be out of synch with your devices. As a matter of fact, ISY is now out of synch with your devices. If you want to get rid of the logically deleted links, simply do a Restore Device and ISY will automatically defrag/compact your devices db. Also, you could have A2 and E2 for the same group number; these are not duplicates. ISY maintains a replica of device db for each device and uses it for configuration. So, any changes outside of ISY, will not be in Synch with ISY. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Jason, Thanks so very much for your kind words. They mean a lot to us and we'll try to do our best to keep up. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hello mohansen, Please have him factory reset the switch and retry (if you have not yet). What is this device? With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi Joe, In the from field, please put your "sender's email address". It's always best to use your own gmail account for the from. Please check the log and see if you see any -5000x in there. Also, try the Test button. Do you get anything? With kind regards, Michel
