Hi DarkCanuck, When you upgrade the firmware on the Z-Wave dongle, Unfortunately you lose all the data which you cannot restore unless you have backed up the dongle. The question are: Why would you upgrade the firmware? Had you ever done Z-Wave / Tools / Backup any time before upgrading the Z-Wave firmware? With kind regards, Michel

Thanks Gary. Benoit reviewed the specs and it seems that everything is local (no cloud) which his fantastic. This said, they have their own protocol on top of Bonjour (for discovery) so the level of effort would be just a little less than developing Z-Wave or Zigbee protocol stacks. In addition, it's still quite fuzzy as to where ISY fits in. We are still investigating. With kind regards, Michel

Utilizing the portal occupancy node server in programs
Michel Kohanim replied to Tim Wilson's topic in ISY994
Hi Guys, Two cases: 1. The condition is made up of only From and To. In that case the program is evaluated only at From and at To 2. Otherwise, the program is evaluated every time one or more of the conditions change WITHIN the From and the To With kind regards, Michel -

Utilizing the portal occupancy node server in programs
Michel Kohanim replied to Tim Wilson's topic in ISY994
Hi Tim, Yes, that makes sense with one modification on time constraints: it's From and To and NOT exactly at those to times as your bullets connote. As you suggested, what you need to do is to have a variable for away that's set when you go away. Then the condition should include that in the And: And Away = 1 With kind regards, Michel -
Admin Console; remote authentication issue: "LIB_ERRORS-403"
Michel Kohanim replied to Banichi's topic in UD Portal
Hi Nathan, 403 = forbidden. Please make sure that the portal access is approved and that your ISY is online on the portal. With kind regards, Michel -

Hello KSchex, Z-Wave backup is stored in ISY, if you do a File | Backup ISY, then the Z-Wave backup will be included in your ISY backup. Yes, it's slow because we have to backup very small pieces of data at a time. With kind regards, Michel

Hi cdjayzee, You can but you will have to use programs or variables: 1. Use Network Resources (included in ISY Portal) to allow ISY communicate with your Russound: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-994i_Series_INSTEON:Networking:Network_Resources#Russound_CAV6.6 2. Make programs or state variables that activate programs 3. Use the commands outlined here with your Echo (for programs or variables): http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY_Portal_Amazon_Echo_Integration#Supported_Commands With kind regards, Michel
