Custom MP3 Files Cut Short on Bluetooth Output (Again)
Mine cut off then I added the _t and now they play all the way through. There was an updated Bluetooth Service in PG3, did you update your service?

@raydoc Remove power from bothj the PLM and the ISY, Power up the PLM, wait about 15 seconds then power up the ISY Make sure the PLM is plugged in the port A on the ISY

eisy on UPS with USB PLM
I removed power from the PLM. It's strange thast it's not working for you. Maybe a loose or bad cable?

Audio Player Audio
@Michel Kohanim Rebooted the EISY I now see 1.3.3 in rhe store, and I updated to 1.3.3 I updated the bluetooth service. My ANKER speaker shows as paired but I was unable to play any audio. Strangely after sitting idle for abpout five minutes the audio starting working. When I did a package update in the EISY I got numerous "system is being updated" windows and several reboot windows

@Michel Kohanim about 7 minutes ago. The volume control now works, but my custom MP3 won't play. I don't see an option for uploading the MP3 zip file

eisy on UPS with USB PLM
@Jimbo.Automates I just disconnected my USB PLM, then then plugged it back in and had no problem with the EISY communicating with the PLM. If you're using a serial PLM it's possible that the serial to USB converter lost power. My EISY is also on a UPS

Are you using a serial or a USB PLM?

ZMatter board, "factory reset"?
The data for the Zwave, Zmatter, and Zigbee devices is stored on the Zmatter dongle. The question is if your remove the dongle how will the device tree respond to those devices that are no lonnger accessible. If your zmatter board is mounted in the external enclosure You could unplug it and see what happens. I would assume that the device tree would show those devices with a red exclamation mark. If you mount an already populated zmatter dongle in a different controller the device tree, and associated programs probably won't show the data on the zmatter dongle. I'm not sure if there's a way to do a sync and update. Probably best to open a ticket

Unable to "Find/Replace" many programs after migrating from 994i to eisy with Matters+ dongle
ISY Finder was renamed IoX Launcher, they both serve the same function AC = Admin Console PG3 = Polyglot version 3, which is accessible from the IoX Launcher when you click on version

Version 1.3.0 Professional Released!
These are known issues and should be resoved in the next release. Re: your custom messages not playing, I had the same issue. Try stopping and restarting both the bluetooth service and the audio player. If that doesn't work then uninstall and reinstall the audio player. There's also an issue with the end of the custom messages being cut off. Hopefully that will be addressed in the next release.

Can't log into admin console
Glad to see you're up and running. Now backup up your ISY.
-
Can't log into admin console
Do you have a current ISY backup. The backup must have been created by clicking on FILE | BACKUP IOX You can also try closing the admin console, removing power from the ISY, then boot it up.
-
Can't log into admin console
@vmastros It won't ask you to download a file, it just places the IoX Launcher icon on your desktop Try the default login whid is admin / admin
-
Can't log into admin console
Clear you java cache, be sure to check all 3 boxes, then download the IoX Launcher from here: https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp You shouldn't be extracting any zip files associated with the ISY

Eisy and Insteon Documentation
@schda12 Hi David You're asking for a 6 month course to be narrowed down to 30 minutes. A good place for you to start is the ISY Cookbook. It's not completely up to date but should contain answers to a lot of your questions. Here's the link: The ISY-994i Home Automation Cookbook (universal-devices.com) The troubleshooting section of the UDI Wiki should also prove helpful, i.e. INSTEON: Troubleshooting Communications Errors - Universal Devices, Inc. Wiki (universal-devices.com)

@Michel Kohanim Is it possible to add my own MP3 files to the directory where the default MP3 files are stored as I don't want to rely on the cloud or text to speech conversions for my text messages. I use Audacity to create the files. It's a great program and allows for editing etc. I'm still having issues getting bluetooth to work but it may be a compatibility issue with the devices I'm trying to use.
