The Occupancy Node Server is not needed for UD Mobile Geofencing. See setup video here If you would like to use the Occupancy Node Server with UD Mobile, the following links to instructions. https://wiki.universal-devices.com/UD_Mobile#Occupancy_v2.0_Node_Server

I believe these variables come from the 2 dropdowns next to the "Add Variable" button. Some are program specific, so sys.node.#.name is the name of the node that triggered the program. If the program is run manually this variable does not exist. While most of the "alert" variable names are good definitions some are ambiguus. I did a quick search but don't see definitions for the "alert" variables, maybe @Chris Jahn knows.

Thanks @Kentinada, Will review in the next couple of days.

System Notifications come from Portal which monitors the connected state of equipment linked to the account. If any linked equipment comes online or goes offline a notification is (can be) sent to any mobile device logged onto the same Portal account. While it may be possible to send an event for the online state to specific equipment, the offline event would fail everytime as Portal can't communicate with the system.

Try rebooting system, if not already tried. Try synchronization on the phone having issues. If that doesn't correct issue any errors in Settings-Tab > Systems> your-system > Test Remote connection?

The "Enabled" Command for a program Enables (True) or Disables (False) the program. This will not run the program. Depending on how the program is setup, you likely want Run IF, Run Then, or Run Else command which will run the program.

The Dev account keys I created a couple of months ago are getting status for the Thermostat. So the service still appears to be working. I never did get a password reset for either the Dev Account or my Honeywell Home account. The Honeywell Home login did show a brief error regarding account errors related to account migration. Maybe they are in the process of consolidating all the Resideo Properties into a single Rosideo Login. Will retry after the holidays.

Please verify firmware is up to date. If using on your local network it may help to setup Local Connection Settings. See

What do you get with the same URL in a browser http://<ipAddress>/desc? This should return a description of the system. Also do you get anything with http://<ipAddress/rest/nodes (login required)?

Don't worry about this message, If I recall this was an error when searching for eisy/Polisy not 994. Try adding the local IP Address manually to the finder http://xxx.xxx.x.xxx/desc

just updated UD Mobile to 1.1.35 on two iPhones and app is badly broken
Javi replied to cwagner2401's topic in UD Mobile
On the device which is not working go to Settings-Tab > Systems > your_system_name. Do you get an error message? If not cancel any request to synchronize, then press the Test Remote Connection Button. Do you get an error message? -
No, but the log will only keep a limited amount of entries, if I remember it is ~50. Very possible the Location Permission is the issue or the fence is not enabled, when there are no logs. Users who have the delayed entry/exit have logs which show a long pause or error. iOS usually asks the user the user if they want UDM to have location access after the first time UDM gets a Geofence trigger and then a few days later. This happens while UDM is not running, so it may be confusing. If the user does not press "always allow" then UDM will not receive location updates.

Yes, place Favorites Screen in edit mode (pencil icon at top of page), click the Favorite Tile, Select Edit then change the Favorite Type to Toggle Widget. Save Favorite then disable edit mode (pencil icon at top). Update 01/14/25: Favorites Edit mode is now accessed from the Favorite tile's menu. If the menu is not visible on the tile place favorites in Edit Mode. For more advanced configuration the Command Type will work. See: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=UD_Mobile#Favorite_Custom_Toggle Place Favorites Screen in Edit mode, Click the Favorite Tile, Select "Configure Advanced Status Color/Value/Icon Configuration". Press the Add button at the top to add a new condition. Update 01/14/25: "Configure Advanced Status Color/Value/Icon Configuration" is now accessed from the Favorite tile's menu. If the menu is not visible on the tile place favorites in Edit Mode. See: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=UD_Mobile#Individual_Status_Mappings Same as Question 2. However, currently Individual Status Mappings do not have the option for URL Icon, so only included icons are available. This is on our list, but not sure of time frame.

Program B would not evaluate for Control Condition as the device was not touched. Program B would evaluate a Status Condition if the Status changed (i.e. was not already on at the same level).
-
Control should work if you are pressing the button on the side of the device. If you are not pressing the button then Status will work. Think of Control as an real world touch Action not related to Status (or state). This will not work with Control as the device was not touched. This will work with Status if the Status changed.
-
Control requires physical control of the same device (i.e. pushing a button/paddle), and will evaluate a program even if the last control was the same. Status is the state of the device, will not evaluate a program unless the state changes.

The error signals that the current SSID as reported by iOS does not match an SSID entered into System Network Relations. Do you have multiple SSIDs? If you do please add both SSIDs to the System Network Relations. I've added the current network to the this error message in the next release.

With regards to a few minutes delay, Apple states it is normal for updates to be delayed for about 2 minutes as the phone's battery would be depleted very quickly if it were constantly requesting updates. Battery level, and Low Power Mode may add to this time. With regards to a totally missed fence crossing, we have a few reports of issues with some iOS devices which may be related. iOS appears to pauses network activity before UDM can send a command. While I have seen users report this issue, none have provided logs which are needed to open an issue with Apple. View geofence logs go to Settings Tab > Geofencing, then press the document icon at the top of the screen, errors may be obvious, such as no network, invalid credentials, etc. To capture log files from the device having issues create a UDM Backup file (Settings-Tab > Backup) soon after the missed fences, or when showing the network-pause/paused-ended. Send me Private message with a copy of the UDM backup file for the device having issues, alternatively open a ticket and attach a Zipped copy of the UDM Backup file.

Thanks for the report. The "Getting Energy Expert" is a Portal query, which is likely being delayed due to no internet. Added timeout in next version which should correct the issue if there is no internet.

Hi we are aware of the issue. Please see the following post for updates and instructions for Local Network Connections.
