Ok, wondering if it's a portal issue. We can test this by only connecting on the local network: Please reconnect Wifi. Go to Settings Tab > System > Your System> Local connection settings. Enter your local credentials and set Only Use local connection to true. Now the app will only connect to the local network

Ok, my best guess is that the systems were disabled in settings, thus requiring sync to populate values.

The color is not set as there is no value so we can leave that. Sync is not needed after restarting. Can you please post a screenshot after you swipe app from recents then re enter without sync?

If the global default span is set to 1 there will be one item per row unless a favorite has a span greater than the default value in the same favorite folder. https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=UD_Mobile#Span Some of the default values have a span greater than one for widgets. So if default is 1 widget default is 3 the span for that folder is now 3. I think the behavior you are looking for is default span 1 and widget span 1 (not default).

Unless I'm missing something, no system appears to be disconnected. There would be an error indicator bubble next the the "Home" tab icon if the app is having connection issues. If you are referring to the red circle next to the device, the app is in edit mode. Clicking the edit button at the top of the screen will stop edits. The red circle is to hide the device. It's likely related to recent updates on Android. First please verify you are on version 0.174. If on 0.174 press the "Test Remote Connection" in Settings-Tab > System > Your System. Do you get any errors? If no errors are shown and are open to remote diagnostic please open a ticket and reference this post. Please respond here and I'll look for your ticket. Diagnostic should only take about 15 minutes.

There are many things that could have remained in the App's Database as it's not limited to Nodes. The app sets a time stamp on all entries during sync. At the end of sync the app queries all entries related to the system (isy) SQL ID for unmatched timestamps to que deletion. In the past these values were remove automatically so we prompted to backup before sync, now we only prompt for backup if deletion will be performed. Most of the time deletion is necessary, when the number is low, but if there are a large number of deletions queued something went wrong. Although in the case of migration a slightly larger number of entries may be expected ,especially if a node was removed (i.e. z-wave device). To respect the time users have spent with customizations we choose to ask the user to backup before the app delete these values. If you have a backup file and you have favorites then import, sync, and allow removal of unused values should restore most of your setup. I'm open to suggestions for the descriptive text to help others in the future.

Hi @theitprofessor, Please post a screen capture of the errors for a better explanation. With regards to "remove unused values": This will happen if a node/program/variable no longer exists in ISY but does in UD Mobile. There should be a backup option there also. The reason for the question is because it is possible, although improbable, a user did not make changes to their system and there was a network error. So instead of automatically deleting items, which could delete favorites, from the UD Mobile database UD Mobile first asks user to backup. This way the user has a backup in case the database cleaning removes items the user did not want removed. For anyone else: Currently this is an iOS only feature.

Please try upgrade and give 30 minutes for upgrade to complete before trying anything else, after 30 min power cycle if Polisy cannot be found or manually entered into the Finder. There is/was a bug with location publishing after upgrade. If that does not work please open a ticket.

Hi @DennisC, I just uploaded version 0.174 trying to fix this issue. I have not seen the error on my test device in the last 12 hours with this version. We are updating the app's oAuth classes which caused the error. Swiping app from recents then re entering removes the error. Unfortunately this error was "null", so I've added codes in case it appears again. Please let me know if a similar issue is encountered after update. Not sure how I caught a non existent error 🤪

Under DND > App Notifications when I click ADD then select UD Mobile I'm shown the Notifications Channels to allow. I read on a few forums that Samsung and OnePlus have DND missing at the same locations you describe, unfortunately the user/system controls these settings so the app can not make changes only push users to the settings page.

Yes, that is where is should be. It is an OS level setting. Is there multiple profiles or users on this device? Edit: Does it work from Settings > Sound & Vibration > Do not Disturb > Apps, then add UD Mobile

Can you click the name (or bell icon) of the Notification Channel? I did a quick search and It appears some devices will not show this option for a managed profile (i.e. work profile). Is the device using the main profile?
