  1. Try doing a synchronize all before reverting back.
  2. If your admin console is sluggish you may need to increase your Java memory. Search the Wiki for instructions.
  3. Are you saying none of the ISY front lights are on? If so, you are having a problem with your ISY. Check the power supply to start.
  4. Here is a link to the troubleshooting section of the Wiki for Macs: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Troubleshooting_Help
  5. There in stock directly from UD store: https://www.universal-devices.com/store/
  6. Information on correcting this issue can be found in the Wiki on troubleshooting. Scroll down a bit: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Troubleshooting_Help
  7. Try using start.jnlp following the instructions here: Chrome works fine. Make sure your firmware and UI versions match once you get in.
  8. Just reply back to the ticket that you are having difficulties after following their directions. They will continue to help.
  9. What does the log for the individual node Server say?
  10. Have you entered data in the configuration fields in each Node Server from within Polyglot on either Polisy or your RPI?
  11. I am monitoring 2 houses and definitely exceed 100 messages a month just from the monitoring.
  12. I also use both, depending on message size and have not had a problem with either.
  13. You may want to verify this before making a purchase with the company you are purchasing from. It was a while ago but I seem to recall someone getting a new ISY994i and it shipped with v5 firmware.
  14. I would suggest making sure your firmware and UI versions match. If that's ok then right click one device and selector restore device.
  15. You should use start.jnlp to launch the admin console which will automatically select the correct UI for your version. It is available on the release download page. There are at least two different versions depending on which version firmware you have.
  16. I know you said you checked, but it sounds like it was not wired up correctly.
  17. If you disconnect the smoke detector momentarily, does the speaker sound stop?

    Elk m1

I would suggest doing most of the logic in the ISY. When the CT changes state, have the output turn on. Write an ISY program to monitor the output and handle the wait. I'm not near my system right now and don't remember if you can program spoken words in the ISY for the ELK, if not, have ISY set another output on after the wait period and have the ELK monitor the second output. When the 2nd output turns on, the ELK announces the cycle is complete. Over the years I have found the ISY handles the programming much better then the ELK. The ELK acts as input/output device very well.
  19. To install it, the device should be about 2 feet from the ISY. After installation you can move it back to its original location. Like suggested above, you may need to build out the mesh.
  20. How far away is the device from the ISY? Often, to securely add a device it needs to be right next to ISY.
  21. Here is another case use for variables. Use of a geofence program to alert ISY that a user is home or away. I use Tasker on Android for this. Upon arriving home, I have Tasker set a variable to 1. When I leave home, the variable is set to 0. Now I can write different programs that will execute based on being home or away. For example, if I am away, turn on inside lights at various times to simulate someone moving through the house. I also use the same variable to light up my long driveway and lights on the path to the door when adding home.
  22. You should still correct the wiring to prevent a shock when changing the bulb. The load goes to the black wire which should be connected to the center of the socket. If it is a screw terminal, it should be the dark colored screw. The white wire, or the silver screw is neutral.
  23. You could try setting a variable when you arm the system, say to 1 and return it to 0 when you disarm. Then use the variable to trigger the program. I do this to control various lights, heat, and several other functions.
  24. Have you run "exclude" first? Many Zwave devices require exclude to be done before adding. I usually run exclude 2 times prior to attempting to add a device. If that still doesn't work, try moving the ISY close to the thermostat and try adding in then. If that works, you might need to increase your mesh coverage by adding more devices.
  25. I use a program to monitor the lock status. Whenever the status changes, an email is sent. No guessing and I always know the status of the lock.
