  1. Here is the link to the troubleshooting guide. Scroll down until you find your issue. https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Main_Page#Java_applications_are_blocked_by_your_security_settings
  2. Javi, How about support for Elk alarm system? Will that be coming soon?
  3. UD is working on an app and it is being done by @Javi. It is in early beta testing and looks very promising. It displays my zwave thermostat with all of the nodes available. In addition, it loads quickly and looks like it will support most if not all of the nodeserver a. It needs a little time to develop, but as I said, it looks very promising.
  4. Do you have a question? This is well known and in the Wiki for email customizations, right at the top of the page. https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-994i_Series:EMail_and_Networking_Substitution_Variables
  5. Here is a link to the instructions for renewing your portal subscription: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY_Portal_Renewal_Instructions
  6. Start ISY Launcher, click on "add" and enter: https://dyndnsname:portnumber Don't remember off hand if the button to click afterwards is save or add, but I believe even hitting enter works. If you entered the address correctly, ISY Launcher will find the ISY and add it to the Launcher listing.
  7. Have you tried power cycling your ISY? If you can get in to your ISY admin console, check the firmware and UI versions. They need to match. Are you using the ISY Launcher? If not try that. It's available from the firmware upgrade post.
  8. There is a document called ISY Cookbook which explains how to do different programing and it has examples. Just search for ISY994 Cookbook. It will be very helpful.
  9. Also, check the setting in your router and see if the existing IP is saved or reserved in your router.if that is the case you will need to delete that setting and try again.
  10. Are you checking the DHCP check box? If you do this, your router will assign the IP and then you can reserve that IP in your router so it doesn't change.
  11. Try the procedure below to gain access. Once you are able to connect, set up automatic DHCP. Sometimes static IP results in DNS issues. https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-99i/ISY-26_INSTEON:Assign_a_Static_IP_Address
  12. The best way is to use an automatic DHCP assigned by your router.
  13. Look here: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Troubleshooting_Help
  14. To add to this, you should be using the ISY Launcher which will automatically select the correct UI to match your firmware. You can download it from the firmware upgrade post, just follow the directions.
  15. I currently use Agave, but I am also beta testing the new UD app @Javiis working on. It is still early but it is quick and responsive and when finished will be a fine choice. You will need to make decisions on which portal you want to use since you can't have them both. However, you can still use Mobilink if you use the UD portal, you just can't use their portal. There is a post in the Mobilink forum on how to set it up.
  16. Try select tool, information, ISY portal access troubleshooting.
  17. As long as you can access ISY externally, don't worry about setting in ISY that says internet access.
  18. Have you checked the nodeserver in Polyglot? Make sure the nodeserver is still running and see if there are any errors in the nodeserver log. Are any scenes showing up in ISY? Seems strange you are not seeing it there. Maybe post a screenshot so another set of eyes can help you look.
  19. Does your firmware and UI match? Are you using the Launcher?
  20. Is your firmware at least v5.0.16? If so, here are the instructions: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Polisy:User_Guide Scroll down and try the factory reset.
  21. You can find the instructions here: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Main_Page#Quick_Start_Guides If you are on Windows this should help: Installing the Admin Console Icon on Your Desktop It's always best to use the Admin Console application which is browser independent. To do this: Clear your java cache Use the ISY Launcher to launch the Admin Console. This should put an icon on your desktop once you run the downloaded start.jnlp file. If on Mac, read thru the first link.
  22. Is your ISY registered with UD? I would suggest sending your uuid to them and have it verified.
  23. Makes sure the zwave dongle is plugged in to the bottom expansion slot of the ISY.
  24. After the upgrade what is needed is synchronize all, not to be confused with heal zwave network. If you completed the synchronize all successfully and are still having issues you should open a support ticket with UD. If I remember correctly you can run the synchronize all with the event window open and set to level 3 to watch progress - it's been awhile since I did this so I am not completely sure I remember this correctly.
  25. ZW indicates zwave devices. Did you follow the upgrade instructions? Are you sure you have series 500 zwave board? Did you do a zwave backup before the upgrade? Did you restore the zwave backup after upgrading? Did you then synchronize all nodes? Are you using the Launcher to access your ISY and does your firmware and UI match? Some phantom nodes are considered normal, but those with connected devices should work.
