  1. Try following instructions here: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Main_Page#Admin_Console_is_very_slow_or_hangs
  2. What are you using to turn the switch off? Is it an ISY program or the lack of motion? Either way, you could write a program that disabled the motion sensor or the off program and have it run from the 6 button switch. The down side is having to remember to hit the on portion of switch to enable the program.
  3. How about creating a program that disabled the program that turns the lights on if the door is opened during daylight hours? When the door is finally closed, enable the program that turns the lights on.

    Outdoor Sensor

This is what I use https://www.guardlinesecurity.com/collections/guardline-outdoor-motion-alerts-wireless-driveway-alarms/products/guardline-500-ft-wireless-driveway-alarm The device works well and a set of batteries last 9 - 12 months. Mine connects to ISY through my Elk alarm, but you could use an IO Link. Rock solid.
  5. I am doing this but instead of using an I/O Linc, I'm using an Elk security system. The Elk makes it easy to bring non-supported items in to the ISY. However, an I/O Linc should work just fine.
  6. When using an ISY you should always pair from the ISY. Link tables are not set up correctly otherwise in the ISY.
  7. Or try the new Polisy.
  8. I have to agree with you. It is difficult to make a decision now based on available information. I would like to support UDI, I feel they do a fabulous job, on the other hand, I would also like to take advantage of the discount, but only if it would actually replace the current ISY. More information is definitely needed.
  9. I think it would be helpful to understand in detail UDI's intent for the future of the ISY and if Polisy is to be the next ISY, along with a very high level timeline. I understand UDI's hesitation in giving timelines, but some future roadmap would be helpful. While I use nodeserver's, I have no trouble maintaining a Raspberry PI at 2 locations. Would I want to invest in 2 Polisy now, because in the next year or two it will be capable of replacing the ISY, or wait until more is known and loose out on the discount?
  10. I have used both Agave and Mobilinc and would suggest trying Agave.
  11. In my case, I use the relay output to my Elk system. I get very few false alarms. All you need to do is maintain the batteries. Mine lasted 6 to 7 months.
  12. https://www.guardlinesecurity.com/products/guardline-500-ft-wireless-driveway-alarm?variant=1772214190090&keyword=&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIv_KutLf24QIVBiSGCh0magRuEAQYGiABEgKYS_D_BwE This is what I use.
  13. Currently, v5 is very stable. I wouldn't get hung up on "beta" at this point.
  14. I have two ISY's running v5.0.14, both with Elk and have no problems to report.
  15. I run both without any problems. If you are running headless, you use Putty to sign on to the terminal screen. If you are running the GUI, the Terminal screen is in the menu.
  16. That's a different story........
  17. Smarthome replied promptly and the problem with 2844-222 has been corrected.
  18. Good thing is sale runs until the 25th, so you can think about it a bit longer.
  19. I started adding several items to my cart on the Smarthome website, along with the discount code. Something didn't look right with the discount and when I checked the math I found the discount was not being taken off the Insteon Motion Sensor II, item number 2844-222. I have an email out to Smarthome now, but if you order anything, you might want to check that the discount is being applied properly.

    Replace ISY

I would suggest you contact UDI, all you would need is to purchase the ZWave dongle and ZWave module and install it in your existing ISY.
  21. If you are on an Android phone, Agave is a phone app you should check out. It is very well supported with new features being added all the time.
  22. I think this would be the best you could hope for. Maybe have a program query it after power is turned on each night to insure communications so it will turn off on time? https://www.smarthome.com/insteon-2634-222-on-off-outdoor-module-dual-band.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIxuru8baN3gIVSiSGCh1Q3wQTEAQYASABEgKECfD_BwE
  23. Could I suggest dating or adding a revision number to each version? This would enable us to make sure we are looking at the latest version. Thanks, Dennis
  24. I have about 8 GRI sensors wired up to my Elk panel also. Very reliable and effective. I have received several early notifications from my system and was very great full for the warning.
  25. I would suggest deleting the downloads and uninstall Java if it partially installed. Shutdown the computer completely and restart. After a cold restart, disable antivirus protection and re-download what you need .
