  1. No, I mean using an HTTP port as opposed to an HTTPS port.
  2. The place where a deadbolt is installed is the weakest link in the door buck. A decent deadbolt has a steel striker plate and lengthy screws. Drilling a hole in that location will severely and negatively impact the strength of the deadbolt against a break-in. Doing so is a terrible idea as far as security is concerned. IMO, a remote controllable deadbolt is a solution.
  3. Here's a start: If Status 'Thermostat' >= 77° (Temperature) Then Set 'FanLinc-Motor' Med Else Set 'FanLinc-Motor' Off
  4. What's the result if you try an non-secure port as a test?
  5. Use this tool to verify that the port is open.
  6. You can't use your LAN IP to access the ISY from off-site. You need to use your WAN IP. And you do need to suffix the port, as you've shown.
  7. How did you get the non-load SwitchLinc to turn off the OutletLinc dimmer "only after sunset" without a program?
  8. One wife is worth a several thousand words
  9. Where specifically in the Admin Console? I managed to rename the ISY in the Admin Console and to a different name at the Configuration, Portals screen and to yet an other name in the portal app..
  10. From the portal, click on the ISY under Alias.
  11. I'm confused by, "same box address via the portal for remote access." Are you at the Admin Console? If so, specifically where? Or are you at the portal?
  12. Three Echos, three dots, two Fire TVs and four Amazon/Alexa accounts. That allows us to say, "turn on the whatever," for the room we're in without having to specify which room. If we mean a device in another room, then we name the room, for example form the bedroom we'd ask Alexa to turn the "kitchen light off."
  13. A difficulty with using the SynchroLinc for a washer is that nearly all modern washers go through pause cycles during which virtually no power is used (the timer does not use enough power the register on a SynchroLinc).
  14. None of the Insteon Hubs are program capable except for alerts ans schedules. Alerts cannot be scheduled.
  15. All my SynchroLincs are scene controllers for subwooffers. One SynchroLinc does use a program to turn on background lighting. What do you intend/want to do with a Synchrolinc?
  16. I made several changes as construction for an added bedroom was ongoing. IMO, the contractor has every right to charge for any deviation from the original agreement, no matter how small. We're happier for it.
  17. No, it does not. But that's easily overcome with the Echo microphone.
  18. I'm more than happy with the integration of the ISY and the Echo. Pure fun. The August lock is WiFi Bluetooth, the ISY is not. Edited for correction.
  19. Click in each and every link in the scene and check each slider individually.
  20. Siri ad Echo are competitors.
  21. Status requires that the state of the controller changes. If the button is non-toggle off, then its stale never changes. Use Control and Off.
  22. Both our garage door motors are plugged into a FilterLinc. Easy
  23. Which lock are you using that's HomeKit compatible?
  24. If you use an EZFlora to control the relays, then you won't need another device. Unlike a SPDT relay which always has one pair of contacts on, you can turn off each EZFlora relay or just turn another zone on.
