Release 3.3.4 (RC1) Is Now Available
First time I had tried a Scene test on all my modules with 3.3.4 and also the first time I go a 100% failed response? Tried three times with exact same results. Previous version never did a 100% failed test. Where's the login screen and the Elk Module
Glad you got it working. I agree the support from UDI should be a model for other companies to follow.

INSTEON Chime
The X10 Chime Module only sounds when power is first applied. It will not chime with power going off. So an ApplianceLinc applying power will have it sound but going back off it will not. My X10 Chime Modules sound when power is restored after my power has been off. One thing to remember. ApplianceLincs after revision hardware 4.15 default to off after a power loss. Even if they where on at the time the power was lost. Probably not an issue in this case but something to keep in mind. I have seen others uses report. The small piezo sounder and an I/OLinc also worked well for them. UPDATE: My brand NEW 2456S3 Hardware Revision 4.9 again returns to its known On or Off state after a power loss and restoration.

Doorbell Trigger Options
ELA made a good point. I found the data sheet on the relay. It has a minimum recommended load of 24 volts DC, 30 mA; 5 volts DC, 100 mA.
-
Doorbell Trigger Options
If it is 24 volts AC. The relays in the EBay link would work and they have the socket with connection screws.
-
Doorbell Trigger Options
Many electronic supply houses have 24 volt AC relays. I will search for some. Something easy to connect? As many may have solder terminals. I would also ask you to look at the bell transformer, probably in the cellar. Mine is not 24 volts AC. It is 18 volts AC.

Lost X-10 control in my ISY994i
If the X10 device was added with the A10/X10 add on module and you then transfered to an ISY controller with out the A10/X10 module. It is possible it was thought to be an Insteon address. I believe when the add on module put X10 devices in the My Lighting tree. It gets a pseudo Insteon Address.

"Safe Mode" on initial setup . . .
GordonGale; Do you have any anitvirus or firewall programs running? If you do can you tell us what they are including their version? Saw your update on the cable disconnected. So my question on software may not be a factor. Though some programs do cause issues with the ISY Administrative Console.

"Safe Mode" on initial setup . . .
I don't see any error. My ISY994i Series Quick Setup Guide. Paragraph 1 ISY Installation 2. "Connect the second included Cat5e cable to ISY's Port A and the other end to the PLM. NOTE: If your PLM is model number 2413S, you do need a power supply (not included)"
-
"Safe Mode" on initial setup . . .
Pinout is the same for the signals being used. Except pin 2 raw 12 volts on the 2414S and 2412S but not the 2413S. In fact some of my original 2412S PLMs have a 2414S Serial Daughter Card in them. RTC, Backup Battery and real big mostly not used memory also. As Lee pointed out. Completely different command set protocol and serial specifications. The 2414S did provide you power but the communications was still not there. So you got safe mode.

Leak Sensor 2852-222
Yes too old. It is supported in the 3.3.4 Beta (RC1) Firmware. viewtopic.php?f=25&t=9834

Doorbell Trigger Options
The ELK-912B is made for a DC voltage. Doorbells are 24 volts AC most times. The AC will cause the inductive spike diode across the relay coil. To short the input on every reversed polarity of the 24 volt AC being applied. May also damage the LED Indicator on the assembly. When set to 24 volts. It looks like a dropping resistor is used in series with the coil input. On 24 volts. The resistor may overheat. When set for 24 volts. You maybe able to add a small bridge rectifier to the Input so the 24 AC is always the correct polarity on the Input of the ELK-912B. Though lumpy DC {unfiltered DC} may make the relay chatter. Guess a filter cap could also be included.

Doorbell Trigger Options
I am using the Doorbell Kit. Though I had the individual parts and just followed the kits instructions. Mine is in the cellar. At the bell transformers location. The ELK-930 is triggered by the bell currant and can be installed anywhere in the wiring for the bell. As long as the bells current flows through the ELK-930 bell sensor board. In my case. I am using the common terminal of the transformer and both the back and front bell trigger the sensor. I am triggering an X10 Powerflash module for a X10 chime module, but have also used the same ELK-930 and an I/OLInc to trigger Appliancelincs with CFLs on them.

venstar 2491T firmware v.93 and isy 3.3.4
The five pin programming connections. Means that they can be reflashed with the proper programmer and source files. Smartlabs and Smarthome just don't offer that option. I don't have any of the thermostats so can't answer that part of the question.

venstar 2491T firmware v.93 and isy 3.3.4
1) No the firmware in Insteon Devices is not field upgradeable and Smarthome/Smartlabs does not offer such a service, but we continue to ask. Most of the modules do have the five pin programming pads or headers in them.

Linking ISY99i to new Insteon LED Bulb Model:2672-222
That is how I also read it. Manual linking needed the power On to accomplish it. A controller should be able to do it with the Insteon ID and no power up sequence.

INSTEON Chime
No. That is why my X10 Chime Modules are still being used. Along with a few HR12A Palm Pads. No sixteen button Insteon remotes either. As you may have guessed. Many of my Insteon Modules have an x10 address in them. I believe some have used an I/OLinc to switch a chime or sounder On and Off. In the Smarthome Forums. A user added a small sounder to an I/OLinc and used its small 5 volt power supply to power it. I have never tried it myself. http://www.smarthome.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=8037

Linking ISY99i to new Insteon LED Bulb Model:2672-222
Canceled the order. Got tired of the never ending Expected Ship Dates slipping and then seeing early users having QC problems. Like the center contact of the bulbs connections falling out when they unscrewed it from the lamp. They also seem to be directional and in my table lamps would probably light my ceiling. I have a few other LED bulbs that also light my ceilings. I believe they are both power line and RF controlled. The Manual Linking method is start the controllers linking function and then screw the bulb into the socket. It stays in that mode for a very short time. Now that 3.3.4 supports it directly. Users should be able to add them to their systems.

Linking ISY99i to new Insteon LED Bulb Model:2672-222
The screw in the bulb is only for manual linking not through an intelligent controller like the ISY99i or ISY994i. The bulb at power up only stays in its linking mode for a few seconds. If you didn't update to 3.3.4 yet. Here is the link. Make sure you follow all the steps. Like clearing the Java Cache. viewtopic.php?f=25&t=9834

Thanks for sharing your nice modification.

New Leak Sensor I think it is working
There is a thread over on the Smarthome Forums. With some similar findings. I believe Smarthome is having them return all six they had. http://www.smarthome.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=11509 The sales page. Indicates it sends an On to Group 1 when Dry. An On to Group 2 when wet. An On to Group 4 as a Heartbeat.

ISY Clock
I have mine set to sync to the NTP Server ever 12 hours. I believe that requires the location be set correctly. I used a custom one only because there was no real close choice to my town. If you have the NTP server enabled. Does the time change if you do a Synchronize now?

Send Captured RF Commands to a Fireplace?
You will need more information on the fireplaces controls model number. There is no universal RF frequency used by all manufacturers. So you would have to know the model so it maybe possible to find the frequency it used and maybe the codes also.
