I think you are confusing two things: certificates to be used between node servers and PG3x and the https certificate for the web server. In PG3x, every node server has its own certificate, unix user, and mqtt channel. This way, no crosstalk is ever possible at any level. Certificates are regenerated every time udx service starts (or the unit reboots). Regarding having a certificate for the webserver part of PG3, I don't see any problem with supporting it. It might be a little difficult considering that the UI uses mqtt over websockets but definitely doable. I am not sure what to suggest here. I guess we can never make everyone happy. Thankfully, there are other options so I am sure an expert, such as yourself, would be able to figure out the best option. With kind regards, Michel

Hello everyone, WiFi setup requires you to double click the power button twice. If you don't, it's not going to work. If UD Mobile succeeds setting it up, then it'll automatically exists WiFi Setup. Otherwise, you can disable WiFi setup mode by double clicking the power button again. Also, if you plugin the Ethernet cable, it'll automatically switch to Ethernet. If you unplug it, and if Wifi is setup, it'll switch to WiFi. With kind regards, Michel

@chris.com, Yes, but that would mean that we have to reimplement everything in GTK or QT. So, we are spending our time moving everything into UD Mobile which can then be launched in both Windows as well as MAC. With kind regards, Michel

@dbwarner5, I think there were two issues: 1. If PLM showed disconnected, then the PLM for sure was bad or intermittent 2. You have 100s of: Thu 2022/12/15 03:05:17 AM 0 -140005 ISY These are attempt by polisy to get to one or more of your node servers. I suspect one of them is not working. Or a program is bombarding it. With kind regards, Michel

Beaker, I am so very sorry to hear. Please do either of the following: 1. In /usr/local/etc/pkg/repos/FreeBSD.conf, add priority: 1. Something like this: FreeBSD: { url: "pkg+http://pkg.FreeBSD.org/${ABI}/latest", enabled: yes, priority: 1 } 2. Do: sudo pkg install -r udi pkg sudo /usr/local/etc/udx.d/static/udxops.sh upgrade.polisy With kind regards, Michel
