  1. @CopyRon, No, you should do step 10: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Polisy:User_Guide#Migrating_from_994_to_Polisy With kind regards, Michel
  2. @bpwwer, they are just debugging statements. With kind regards, Michel
  3. @johnnyt, -170001 is not error. It's information (debug). With kind regards, Michel
  4. @MWareman, Pkg update does not go between revisions such as 13.0 to 13.1. So, the button also calls a script that makes those updates and cleans up after itself. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Yes. Please submit a ticket and we'll send you the instructions to reflash. Or, you can get a preprogrammed SSD. With kind regards, Michel
  6. We are trying to get some Zigbee devices supported by then. Yes, the board comes with two antennas: one for Z-Wave (yellow band on the top) and one for Zigbee (red band on the top). With kind regards, Michel
  7. @sjenkins, Yes, I have. Our business model is a little complex: 1. Automation 2. Energy Services (utilities) 3. OEM for both And, unfortunately, all are under the same brand: Universal Devices. The first step would be to separate Automation from Energy. This way, at least, we don't have to deal with Nest and energy management issues (the commercial license still applies). So, it's much more administratively taxing to figure out how to do open source. At the same time, there are many developers who do not want to have their node servers open sourced. So, we spent an enormous amount of time redesigning the node servers so that developers can sell binary versions. In short, it's just a little complex and we do not have the resources. With kind regards, Michel
  8. That's the beauty of not being a commercial product. Once you get commercial, you will need to apply for a commercial license for integration/certification which costs about $50K AND they do not allow energy management companies integrate. In the non-commercial scenario, each customer will have to sign up as a developer and use the developer credential for integration. The same with HomeBridge/HA and Siri integration. As well as Ring and Z-Wave. I have pondered the concept of becoming fully open source and developer centric. It removes many many burdens. With kind regards, Michel
  9. This is not what we sell. This is if you want to use it now with USB. Zigbee/Z-Wave run in 115200 baud. So, speed bump on the hardware interface layer has absolutely zero impact on performance. Yes, we would like to distribute to our Canadian distributor but we will probably have to wait for our next shipment since the preorders have pretty much wiped out our first shipment. Yes. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi Guys, The initial version of the USB option is the ZMatter board + this + enclosure. With kind regards, Michel
  11. eisy is replacement for Polisy. With kind regards, Michel
  12. @btreinders, the answer is for Polisy and not ISY. ISY supports 5-30v. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Yes. You can also get one of these: https://smile.amazon.com/Mini-PCI-Adapter-Module-Industrial-Grade/dp/B07HNTB4XG/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?crid=T3QPIQC0WN85&keywords=mpcie+to+usb&qid=1663362337&sprefix=mpcie+to+usb%2Caps%2C120&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1 Beta because we are going through Z-Wave certification. Everything is field upgradeable (including end devices). With kind regards, Michel
  14. @btreinders, No, polisy require 12V. So does eisy. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Unlike polisy, eisy only has USB ports (4 of them). Except for an NVMe SSD, you cannot install anything else internally. So, for eisy, the ZMatter board will come in a USB form factor with two antennas sticking out. ZMatter is not included in eisy. With kind regards, Michel
  16. @dinostop, I am so very sorry to hear. Please note we can give you a refund if this is not working. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hello everyone, If you are in the Southern California Edison territory, we would like to invite you to participate in SCE's Dynamic Rate Project. Device automation/optimization part of this project has been awarded to Universal Devices. For more information, and/or to signup, please visit our SCE Dynamic Rate Project. With kind regards, Michel
  18. I forgot to add, these hubs use the ASCII version of the instruction set. So, not supported on ISY platform. So, we would need a large quantity to implement the ASCII version. The good news is that it's not too difficult. With kind regards, Michel
  19. For anyone interested in converting Nokia Hubs to PLMs, I am sharing what one of our beloved engineers at x-SmartHome came up with. This is what we were going to do but, as with anything INSTEON/SmartHome related, got stopped. Hopefully someone can convince insteon tech to sell these Nokia hubs and someone else to modify them. With many thanks to Chasen, here it is: https://www.universal-devices.com/docs/NokiaHub2PLM.zip With kind regards, Michel
  20. What do you mean by "we"? With kind regards, Michel
  21. @johnnyt, You might have to Exclude/Include S2 devices but if and only if the interview fails. But, as with anything Z-Wave, pretty much a lot of things are left to manufacturers and thus there's literally no guarantee unless we test each and every Z-Wave device. This is a completely new implementation for Z-Wave so a lot of things have been improved. With kind regards, Michel
  22. @KC10Brain, I responded to both of your tickets yesterday and almost immediately. We are alive and well. With kind regards, Michel
  23. With regard to migration of Z-Wave, both 500 series and Zooz have been thoroughly tested and they work perfectly. This said, the new code supports many features that the previous code didn't support such as S2 and scenes. So, there will probably be some minor manual intervention. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Very true. With kind regards, Michel
  25. @Goose66, Please submit a ticket. With kind regards, Michel
