  1. In addition to what @paulbates suggested you can run a diagnostics on a device to compare link tables. That may help you narrow down the problem. The older appliance links are outdated and should probably be replaced with the newer dual band on/off modules.
  2. @CMortimer If you're still having issues then it's probebly best to sumbit a support ticket https://www.universal-devices.com/my-tickets
  3. @AD8BC Are on Windows or a MAC. Do you have any VPN software running? It sounds like the issue may be with your switch. Is everything is working correctly when you're directly connected to the router?
  4. I think your issue is related to the MAC security blocking the IoX Launcher. I'm a windows person, hopefully a MAC forum user can better address your dilemma. You can also try the suggestions below. Java applications are blocked by your security settings Close all your browsers Go to System Preferences | Java to get to Java Control Panel Click on Delete Files and make sure you check Applications Click on the Settings Button Make sure Keep temporary files on my computer is checked Click on the Security tab on the top Click on Restore Security Prompts and then click on Restore All button on the ensuing dialog Click on the Edit Site List Click on the Add button Enter https://isy.universal-devices.com followed by hitting the Return key on the keyboard. Accept the warning Click on the OK button
  5. @Jim P The IOLinc has 2 nodes, is it possible that the program you're having issues with is monitoring the wrong node? Also take a look at the IOLinc options. Is the relay following the sensor?
  6. @AD8BC Other than rebooting your router I've run out of suggestions. Probably best to open a support ticket: https://www.universal-devices.com/my-tickets
  7. @CMortimer I recall some users having issues with the MAC. Take a look at this thread Admin Console failing with "Unable to launch the application" on Mac - New user? Having trouble? Start here - Universal Devices Forum (universal-devices.com)
  8. When you connect to ethernet the wifi should automatically be disabled. When you cleared your Java cache, did you check all 3 boxes, then download the IoX Launcher from here: https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp
  9. Being that the IOLinc is a powerline only device it could be that you're having communications issues, maybe due to powerline noise, etc. Take a look at your log to see if there is any activity prior to the garage door status changing. You might also want to create a program that emails you in real time when the garage door is opened and closed. That will help you narrow down the problem by giving you an exact time frame. Another possibility is that the IOLinc relay is sticking, I've had this happen on occasion.
  10. The EISY uses different IP addresses for WiFi and Ethernet, so what you'ree seeing in the router is normal. Try removing power from the EISY for about 30 seconds, then boot it up. Also run the Package update on the EISY as there were some recent updates.
  11. Is your router configured for DHCP? Are you using a static IP address for the EISY? Have you tried replacing the ethernet cable between jthe router and the EISY? Try clearing your Java cache, be sure to check all 3 boxes, and then download the IoX Launcher from here: https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp
  12. In the admin console, If you click on Help | About, what firmware and UI versions are shown? It sounds like your UI version may be incorrect. Clear your Java cache, be sure to check all 3 boxes which will delete the admin console icon from your desktop, then download the IoX Launcher from here: https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp If you're still have issues then remove power frrom the Polisy for about 30 seconds, then power it back up.
  13. UDI has had some issues with the default mail server, not sure if they've been resolved. Make sure your email have both the subject line and the body populated otherwise the email will not be sent.
  14. @Culvdave If you're still having issues after following @paulbatessuggestion, then right click on a scene that's not working, then click on diagnostics | Scene test. Post a copy of the test results.
  15. Exactly what steps did you take that created your Polisy issues. It's best to use DHCP with a reserved address for the Polisy. Are you able to access all the features of the Polisy via the admin console. If not, then clear your java cache, including checking all three boxes, then download the current version of the admin console from here: https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp
  16. It's possible that your Zmatter dongle has a connection issue with the EISY. If you're connecting it via a USB cable then try a new cable. If you're plugging it directly into a USB port try adding a short USB cable. If the above doesn't resolve your issues then here's the link to open a support ticket: https://www.universal-devices.com/my-tickets
  17. Try using the default login to access the admin console: admin / admin.
  18. Is your firmware and UI current? There was an issue with an earlier firmware version that could have caused your issues.
  19. @diesel94 The link for the current version of the admin console is: https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp The version shown in the ISY cookbook is obsolete. You must clear your java cache, including checking all 3 boxes, which will delete your admin console desaktop icon, then click on the above link to install the new admin console icon, now called IoX Launcher
  20. It's definitely time to open the box. The EISY is a major improvement over the now discontinued ISY994
  21. Your best source of information is either the Wiki or this forum. If you have a question on a specific topic or issue post it on the forum and you'll usually get a fast response. The basic scene structure really hasn't changed much The admin console also hasn't changed much over the years The ISY Cookbook is also a good source of information. It's a little out of date but still very useful. The ISY-994i Home Automation Cookbook (universal-devices.com)
  22. They were recently have technical issues with the default mail server. I think the issues have now been resolved as reported by other forum members.
  23. Who are you using for the email server? In the email configuration have you selected HTML?
  24. Have you tried accessing the Polisy via the admin console? If the 3rd led is blinking you may have a bios or signature failure. If that's the case then you need to submit a support ticket: https://www.universal-devices.com/my-tickets
  25. If you transfer from your current ISY to a different ISY then the only cost would be the $125. If you buy the EISY then you would need the Zmatter module ($126) which is currently out of stock but should be back in stock soon. You would also need the USB to serial adapter for your PLM or you could buy a new USB PLM. Depending on how old your current PLM is you might be better off with a new PLM as some of the older PLMs had issues with their power supplies which caused them to fail.
