  1. @GlowingHair Is this what you're looking for? ISY-994i Series:EMail and Networking Substitution Variables - Universal Devices, Inc. Wiki (universal-devices.com)
  2. Assign them to a variable, then create a program to send the variables to an email or text message via the ISY notifications
  3. @cdave1252 Did you follow these instructions? If you're still have issues then try installing the 32 bit version of Java 1. Clear your Java Cache, including installed applications2. Go to https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp3. Click on the desired ISY row and, from the menu, choose the Admin Console
  4. Make sure you have the "Insteon support" box checked on the Polisy configuration page. Did you move the PLM over from the ISY? Is the green power LED on the PLM lit and a solid green? Do you have another PLM to DB9 cable you can try? Are you using the one that shipped with the PLM? It's possible that if you've been "experimenting" with power outages you may have corrupted the PLM link table in which case you should do a factory reset on the PLM, then a restore PLM.
  5. The Aeotec multisensor 6 and soon to be released multisensor 7 are fully compatible with the ISY and Polisy. I use several of them and have never had an issue.
  6. Seems like a local network issue, try rebooting your router.
  7. The Zooz 700 series dongle is for the Polisy only, The 500 series Z-wave internal board for the ISY is a proprietary device and is currently out of stock
  8. Try factory resetting the lamplinc and add via the admin console.
  9. Take a look at these threads
  10. Here's the upgrade instructions. Click on the link below and follow them exactly. Ignore the beta reference. This is a stable build After the upgrade, you'll need to clear your java cache, including installed applications and download the ISY Launcher again
  11. The 4.0.5 firmware is outdated and should be upgraded once you've got things stabilized Are you now able to access the ISY?
  12. If you're using the ISY Finder then this is the window that should open. Clicking on the ISY line should open the admin console for the ISY after a short delay. The ISY needs to connect directly to your Router, or hub if you're using one with an ethernet cable.
  13. You mentioned you were using admin.jnlp. Are you sure you're using the ISY Launcher and not what you quoted? "the admin.jnlp errors with "Unable to launch the application".
  14. The ISY only supports the 2413S
  15. Take a look at the ISY cookbook, not sure but there may be some helpful info in it. https://www.universal-devices.com/docs/production/The+ISY994+Home+Automation+Cookbook.pdf
  16. You can try removing power from the ISY, then remove the SD card and clean its contacts with a soft eraser. then reset the SD card. If you're still then having the problem, it's possible that the SD card failed its rare but it does happen. Upgrading Your SD Card In some instances, you may want to replace your SD card. For example: • You are experiencing a blinking ERR light which could indicated a bad SD card. The ISY supports up to a 16GB SD card. Once your SD card is replaced, you will need to re-load the firmware onto your ISY as well as restore your configuration from a backup. Please be sure to have a good backup before attempting an SD card upgrade. With you ISY you have an externally accessible SD card. Simply unplug all cables from your ISY, pull out the old SD card, and insert the new SD card. You will also need to reload the firmware onto your ISY. Proceed to the paragraph labeled “Reloading The ISY Firmware and Restoring From Backup.
  17. Make sure the ethernet cable is plugged into "Network" on the back of the ISY.The most likely error is due to ISY having a static IP address and the router blocking DNS from IPs not generated by DHCP server. If you have configured ISY with a static IP address, please consider Reverting to DHCP, Or Use 8.8.4.4 for the DNS server In case of using DHCP, you may consider using DHCP Reservation in the router such that ISY is always given the same IP address. If you have port forwarding rules in your router to ISY, please make sure that only TCP is forwarded (NOT UDP or both). If you are using DDWRT, PFSense, or any other home grown routers, then please note that DNSMasq will not work. --------------------------------------------------------- Clear your Java cache, including installed applications, then download the ISY Launcher https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp
  18. @alambertus Try removing power from the ISY, wait about 15 seconds then power it up.
  19. @tedolsen Error light and Memory light blinking simultaneously: ISY is not able to get on the network. Please ensure: The Network jack on the back of ISY is connected to your router The lights on the Network jack have one steady on and the other one blinking. If not, check cable and connectivity to the router Your router provides DHCP There are no other devices on the network with the same IP address (IP Conflict) If you have configured your ISY to use DHCP, then you will have to search your network for devices that might be in the same DHCP range as your router is providing If you have configured your ISY with a static IP address, and as long as you have a good backup, you can Factory Reset your ISY and then restore a good backup (File | Restore ISY). Once prompted to change the network settings, choose No
  20. No, however the Polisy may be able to do over the air device firmware updates in the near future once its upcoming internal Z-wave board is released later this year.
  21. When you clear your Java cache and its applications that will also remove the ISY Finder from your desktop., which you'll then need to re-install If you still have the issue after reinstalling the ISY finder, then you should open a support ticket with UDI
  22. When you open the ISY Launcher do you see the Polisy. Post a screen shot.
  23. Which Z-wave dongle do you have installed the 300 or 500 series? After you did your firmware upgrade did you clear your Java cache including all installed applications and then download the ISY Launcher? Are you only using Z-wave or do you also have Insteon devices installed?
  24. @DirtRoad Try removing power from the PLM and the ISY, then power up the PLM, wait about 15 seconds then power up the ISY If your able to access the ISY via the admin console on your LAN then the router is not the issue.
  25. Clear your Java cache, including all installed applications, then download the ISY Launcher - https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp
