Disappearing devices.
Being that your problem is intermittent, the only other suggestion is the SD card. Remove power from the ISY, remove the SD card and clean its contacts with a soft eraser. If you still have problems after that then replacing the SD card might help.

What is your ISY UI version? Your devices shouldn't be disappearing from the ISY. Have you tried removing power from the ISY for a cold boot.

Outbound IP Connections
Usually, Port 587 with TLS checked. It may vary depending on your email provider. If you reserve an IP address on your router for your controller then you would enter that IP address in the controller,

Replaced all Insteon switches with ZWave, issues adding new Zwave switches.
If you're using only Zwave devices and don't have a PLM attached to the ISY then you need to use this firmware which doesn't support a PLM. This will eliminate the error message. ISY 994i ZW, Z, or ZS Series (Z-Wave/Zigbee and/or if you do NOT have a PLM) Then you'll also need to clear your Java cache, including installed applications and then download the Iox Launcher. https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp

Disappearing devices.
It's possible that you have a defective Zwave device Every time you exclude then include a device the ZW number will increase by one.

@tibbar Try the "Synchronize nodes" option in the ISY Zwave menu. Based on your hardware you should have a viable Zwave system

Polsy on isy 994 -> v5.3.2
Currently, there are three controller hardware versions, ISY994, Polisy, and the just released EISY The current firmware version for the ISY994 is 5.3.4, that's assuming that you don't have the Zwave module installed. What's your current firmware and UI versions? The node servers require either the Polisy or EISY hardware

Disappearing devices.
The ISY Zwave antenna is inside the enclosure, so its range is somewhat limited. You need to have either a repeater or a non-battery Zwave device within about 15 feet from the ISY to relay the Zwave signals. You can also try the "Synchronize nodes" option in the ISY Zwave menu

@SirParadox Are you trying to update the ISY994 or the Polisy hardware?

What is the latest Firmware?
@FLjuggler If you don't have the Zwave module installed, then the latest firmware is 5.3.4 https://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/33287-534-update-for-isy994-july-30-2021/ After the firmware update you need to clear your Java cache, including checking the box "installed applications", then download the Iox installer https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp

Zwave device not showing up under ZMATTER
The Zwave migration option hasn't been implemented yet. If you had the Zooz dongle installed, then by pushing the Zwave to matter button it set the primary Zwave controller from Zooz to Zmatter. Your Zwave devices will need to be manually excluded then included into the Zmatter board Currently the repeater won't show up as it has no nodes or options, but in the next firmware release that may change.

ISY Launcher
What computer operating system are you running? Did you clear your java cache, including all installed applications before you downloaded the launcher? The ISY Launcher was renamed Iox Launcher. Try removing power from the Polisy for a minute. If that doesn't resolve the issue, then try the add button in the launcher

@gviliunas A lot of the zwave device vendors offer end user firmware updates. The current firmware for the MS6 is 1.15 At this point in time the device updates won't correct the issues. We need an updated UD firmware which should be released next week.

Support thread for: IoX v.5.5.0
@greensuit Yes, there seems to be a problem with the Zmatter card not being able to set parameters and device status not updating. UD is aware of this and is hopefully coming out with a firmware update. @Chris Jahn Any progress on these issues?

Support thread for: IoX v.5.5.0
@SteveT When you import your Zwave devices into the Zmatter card they will appear in the Polisy as ZY, that's by design per support. They are trying to reproduce the issue with the Multisensor 6. I also noticed that I'm unable to write any configuration changes to the Multisensor 6 My MS6 is also showing Celsius rather than Fahrenheit and I'm unable to change it, so there's definitely a communication issue between the Zmatter card and some Zwave devices. The problem started with the 5.5.0 firmware. Hopefully there will be a firmware update in the near future.

PLM Errors trying to migrate to ISY on Polisy
You can try a factory reset on the devices, then a restore device. It's possible that they got corrupted due to your previous issues.

PLM Errors trying to migrate to ISY on Polisy
@Envirogreen It shouldn't take that long to update. Give it a little more time. You can also try removing power from the Polisy. If you're still having issues, then it's probably best to open a support ticket.

PLM Errors trying to migrate to ISY on Polisy
@Envirogreen If you do a package update, you'll get version 5.5.0 which has bug fixes. The 1011 means there are pending writes to that device. Right click on the device then click on "write updates" No need to do a restore device. Check to make sure the led on the PLM is lit. Also check your connection between the PLM and Polisy The UPS should have a FilterLinc between it and the powerline as it can interfere with the Insteon powerline signals.

Support thread for: IoX v.5.5.0
Apparently, it defaulted to ON after I rebooted the Polisy. The Multisensor 6 motion is what triggered it. I don't see an "Assoc only" option.
-
Support thread for: IoX v.5.5.0
Chris, I'm now getting a pop up box, when the admin console is open, every time the multisensor 6 motion is triggered. Note: The only device I have installed is the Multisensor 6 for testing purposes prior to a migration.
