  1. When a device is disabled the ISY ignores the device, whether it's powered up or not.
  2. Currently the Zwave dongle in the Polisy doesn't display version or library info. Maybe in later firmware releases.
  3. If you have Z-wave then the Aeotec Multisensor 7 or Aeotec Motion Sensor are both excellent products. In addition to motion they also show temperature and humidity depending on which one you use.
  4. You need to download the ISY Launcher which will put an icon on your desktop. Make sure you have Java installed on your computer before installing the ISY Launcher. Click on this link to download the ISY Launcher: https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp
  5. Under configuration you need to check (enable) the Insteon and Zwave boxes
  6. You should run the PLM link count when the ISY is not busy, the link count could vary somewhat due to ISY activity 532 is the current number of links stored in your PLM
  7. The backlight levels for a keypad can be set using the admin console Set your keypad buttons for TOGGLE. Why do you have buttons B, C and D in the scene? Button A should light when the scene is on and turn off when the scene is off.
  8. Is your device a 4 scene or 8 scene? (do you have buttons A - H) Make sure the battey is fully charged before you try to link. Being that it's an RF only device try moving it closer to the PLM. If that doesn't work then do a factory reset on the device and try again. What is you UI version
  9. Write the following program: Query All If Time is 3:00:00AM Then Set 'ISY' Query Else - No Actions -
  10. @Michel Kohanim Do you have an approximate timeframe when the ISY to Polisy Z-wave migration will be available? Will it include OTA device update feature, if not when do you think it will available?
  11. It's possible that the dimmers may be back in stock about February. The Polisy is the replacement for the ISY. You may want to take a look at Z-wave devices. The ISY and Polisy both support Z-wave
  12. Anytime you update your ISY firmware you MUST clear your Java cache including applications and then download the ISY launcher.
  13. When you click on Help | About the admin console what does it show for firmware and UI? When you cleared your Java cache did you also check the box for Applications. Which would have deleted your ISY Launcher from your desktop. You would then need to download the ISY Launcher.
  14. The Z-wave migration from the ISY to the Polisy in still under development. Currently your only option would be to build your Z-wave network from scratch on the Polisy. The PLM shipped with a serial cable that works with the Polisy's 9 pin serial port. The Z-wave dongle which is compatible with the Polisy is the Zooz ZST10. It uses the 700 series chip.
  15. What is your current firmware and UI version?
  16. Polisy is the replacement for the ISY994. The Polisy, as does the ISY, requires a PLM which is currently unavailable. No one knows when it will be restocked. The Polisy can support Z-wave without the need for a PLM
  17. It's possible that your PLM has reached its capacity. When you delete certain items the link tables will continue remain in the PLM. The only way to remove those unused links and reclaim storage space in the PLM is to do a factory reset on it then a Restore PLM. If you don't have any battery-operated devices then it should go smoothly. If you do have battery operated devices then you need to disable automatic writes to battery devices in the admin console before you do a restore PLM. You'll then need to put each battery device into the linking mode, only one at a time, and then do a restore device. Take the device out of the linking mode before you restore the next one. Don't forget to do an ISY backup before you do anything.
  18. One other possibility is that the other Insteon device in the 2 gang box could be interfering with your switch. Pull out the set button on the other device to see it that makes a difference.
  19. You mentioned that the status doesn't display in the event log, does it display correctly in the device window of the admin console? The only option left that I can think of would be to upgrade the ISY firmware and UI to the current release which is 5.3.4. It's possible that your current version doesn't fully support the device.
  20. So is everything working now? Is your UI and firmware the same version?
  21. Did you do a factory reset on the PLM, IF NOT DON'T DO IT. Is your ISY firmware and UI the same version? If all your hard wired devices are working properly then your PLM is OK. Take one battery operated device at a time, put it in the linking mode, then do a restore device. Push its set button twice to exit the linking mode before you do the next battery operated device.
  22. Based on an earlier post, the button push solved the problem
  23. It sounds like the link tables may be corrupted. Right click on the device in the admin console, then click on diagnostics | show device link tables. After the window populates click on compare to see if you have any mismatched links
  24. Clear out your Java cache including all applications and then download the ISY launcher.
