You can try using the free basic Notification that comes with UD Mobile app or purchase the Notification plugin. Using email to SMS messages is currently a bit of miss situation do to many restrictions placed by the phone carriers.
-
You can also reset the counter variable back to 0 anytime you want. For example, at midnight, combined with a notification, you can tell how long it ran for, or even program a hard stop if it runs too long.

ISY994 portal entry needed along with Polisy entry?
DennisC replied to GQuack's topic in IoX Support
Are still running pg3 or have you upgraded to pg3x? We have seen all 0's for uuid when on pg3. https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Polisy:User_Guide#Upgrading_to_PG3x The unmanaged plugins are typically the result of pg3 not knowing about the plugins. I would guess there were some plugins running on ISY994 using pg3 when the Polisy was added. -
Search for ISY Cookbook, there are examples in there.

I would agree, this may not be the best way of doing this. I would consider changing the hard time of day to a start and end time (to - from). This way they would run during that time frame and then upon power failure, return to the desired position when power resumes. You could also run a disable program from this one to control critical functions (chlorine). By adding a counter when the pump runs, you can send a notification if the run counter exceeds x minutes/hours. The counter can be reset at midnight.

Are you counting on a variable set to 0 and attached to a folder from preventing the program(s) inside the folder from running? If so, I suggest removing the folder variable and using the variable inside your program. Folder variables can be unreliable, which I think you may have found out. The best way to attach programs is to right click the program and at the bottom of the pop up list select copy to clipboard. Then you can paste the program here.

Access Disabled had to do with automatically adding connectivity. If external access is working you can ignore it. Access is now done securely through the portal, or you can manually open ports in router.

Try relocating the PLM to an outlet on a different circuit and trying to add the device again. Use a magnifying glass to read the Insteon ID address to be sure you have the correct address.

Polisy does not boot with ZOOZ ZST10 700 stick
DennisC replied to mdecou's topic in Z-Wave - Series 700
Verify you have Zwave box checked on the Configuration tab of the admin console. -
Do you know how to sign in to your router so you can check the current IP address of your ISY? If so, open the ISY Finder, click the add button and type in your IP address.
-
You need to open Java from the start menu and delete files being sure to check all 3 boxes. Next you need to download a new start.jnlp from UD. More detailed instructions are in the wiki.

Another option would be to use this program for the on function only. Write another program using slightly different temperature and humidity settings to turn the fan off. For example a temperature difference of 2 degrees and/or humidity difference of 1% - use whatever numbers you want. Not necessarily, you can also set the int variable, which will carry over to the next reboot. When you turn the fan off, remember to set both variables back to 0. Check the ISY Cookbook examples for specifics.

Free support for the 994 has ended, since it is obsolete. If you want to stay with Universal Devices, the only option for a new unit is eisy. Not cheap, but plenty new features.

"Restore Backup" vs "Migrate from PG3 backup"
DennisC replied to carealtor's topic in Polyglot v3 (PG3x)
I don't see an issue with this. I did an upgrade from Polisy to eisy last weekend and restored a backup. The system was already using ZMatter on Polisy. I believe the migration was to convert from Zwave to ZMatter. -
ELK module won't connect after upgrade to PG3x 3.2.27
DennisC replied to plumcrazy426's topic in ELK
First, only one device can be connected at a time. Make sure you are not connected to your Elk via RP2 or your phone. Next make sure the port on the plugin page is correct. You will need the plugin debug package for specific help, so I suggest the following: Run upgrade packages again and when completed, reboot. If you still can not connect try changing the log to debug. If necessary, restart the plugin and after waiting awhile, download a log package. If you can't download the log, try reinstalling again. -

Are there any white flags next to them in the admin console? Try waking the keypads up and restoring devices.

Multi Function Button (#top) eisy's power button acts as a multifunction button Update and Upgrade All the Packages Click the button one (1) time. Please consult support before updating this route. Reset Networking Click the button four (4) times Reboot Click the button five (5) times Shutdown Click the button six (6) times Factory Reset Click the button ten (10) times Please wait 5-10 minutes after factory reset before attempting to reconnect to system. I highly doubt there will be any "fix" forthcoming for built in SMTP notifications. US has stated their future is centered around plugins and UD Mobile, and has committed full support to plugins. Writing this, I also remembered there is some limited basic notification ability built in to UD Mobile utilizing a free version of the Notification plugin. You might want to check that out. https://www.universal-devices.com/notifications/

Stopped sending notifications via email long time ago because of failures and delays in sending. Been using the Notification and Pushover plugins and haven't missed a notification. The combination together offers many advantages over using the older native methods.

I would suggest you open a support ticket with UD. If you want, you could try removing power for several minutes and then try to power eisy back up. Also, try using a new power supply.
