  1. That's why the recommendation is to open up a new gmail account only for use with ISY. You don't have to provide any sensitive information, not even your name.
  2. When logging in to polish using ssh are you logging in using admin/admin?
  3. If you scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page you should see a section called Custom Configuration Parameters. There should be 5 of them and you need to enter your IP, user name, and password. If you don't see that the nodeserver didn't install correctly.
  4. I believe reason 3 means: 3 DEVICE RETURNED INVALID NODE an address that we don't have in our node map. I would also suggest doing a factory reset on the device and using the Add New Device from the menu. Also, look at the device address and be sure you are reading it correctly. Some times the numbers are hard to see clearly.
  5. The 994 is capable of zwave, however, if you don't have it, you will need to add the zwave dongle and the zwave module. If you are not sure if you have zwave, go to help about from the menu. If you have zwave ZW will be listed. You can read about how to added it here: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Z-Wave:_Ordering/Assembly_Instructions You can by the dongle from the store: https://www.universal-devices.com/product/z-wave-module/ After its installed the zw module is $1.00.

This might be a firewall issue. Try the suggestions from the Wiki: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Main_Page#Admin_Console_Closes_Automatically
  7. Are you sure you plugged the PLM in before ISY? A link to error messages is below, but I don't see that one listed. https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-99i/ISY-26_INSTEON:Errors_And_Error_Messages
  8. Thanks for the suggestion, but delete is not an option when right clicking.
  9. Yes, it no longer shows in the configuration page of the nodeserver in Polyglot. However, I can not remove it from the admin console.
  10. Yes, I did delete it from the configuration screen of the nodeserver in Polyglot. I restarted the nodeserver, went to admin console updated profile and restarted admin console. I still can't get rid of it. If I use the generic for humidity from a CAO wireless tag or variable, how do you associate the generic reading to the variable or device?
  11. I installed the Virtual nodeserver and was able to add some temperatures for monitoring - well done and thank you. I also wanted to add a humidity reading, but it looks funny listed as temperature. Is there a way to change the tag? I was going to try generic and once I added it I saw it was only for a switch. So I deleted it in the nodeserver, restarted the nodeserver and it disappeared from there, however, I can not get rid of it in the ISY. I have tried update profile, re-discover, and query, restarting the admin console after toggling each. How do I remove this unused node?
  12. You need to open a support ticket with UD and they will change it over. Be sure to send them your serial number.

The program is disabled in the sense it will not run by its own if statement but can still be called by another program.
  14. Is it normal to need to restart the nodeserver to obtain updated counts? I was working on ISY this morning and added several device folders and nodes. I tried query, re-discover, and update profile with restarting the admin console after each attempt. The only way I got an update was to restart the nodeserver in Polyglot.
  15. @simplextechcould you list what is included in the total count? I looked thru the documentation but didn't see it. Thanks
  16. I installed v0.1.1 this morning. The Folder field appeared, but populated with 0. I have run Re-discover, Update Profile and uninstalled and re-installed several times with no change. Assuming that "Folders" refers to folders for programs, I have slightly over 24 folders. Any thoughts?
  17. Did you try logging in to Polisy web application using admin/admin? If that works, maybe the power failure scrambled the settings and you need to resave updated login information.
  18. Here is the link to the error codes: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-99i/ISY-26_INSTEON:Errors_And_Error_Messages Your error comes up as: 403 Forbidden Could something be up with your password? Check to see if your ISY password in Polyglot is correct. Also, see if there is any clue in ISY error log and in the log for the nodeservers giving you a problem in Polyglot.
  19. It is best if you access ISY using the Launcher and not a web browser. You should also make sure your firmware and UI match. When using the Launcher your UI will automatically be matched to your firmware. To use the Launcher go to the upgrade post and find the download link for the Launcher.
  20. I also would recommend removing the lock and moving it to within 3 feet of the ISY. Do an exclude prior to adding the lock.
  21. Ask your question again, only this time enter the @ symbol and Michel Kohanim's name. After the first few characters you will see his name pop up from a drop down. Select his name (you must finish off by selecting the name from the list, not typing it. This will act as a notification to UD and they will be drawn to the post. This way they will be sure to see your question. UD doesn't necessarily read every post.
  22. Are you saying you upgrades from 300 series to 500 series zwave board? If so, no, you do not need to re-purchase the module. Make sure you followed the directions for upgrading as follows: Assembly Instructions Open ISY Unplug ISY from power There are four screws on the back which should be removed Prepare the Enclosure Take ISY board out of the enclosure Attach the Dongle to ISY' expansion slot Plugin the Dongle into the Bottom Row of ISY expansion slot Put everything back Push ISY board back into the enclosure starting with the side where all the LEDs are Activate the Z-Wave Module Now that you have assembled ISY/Z-Wave Dongle, you will need to purchase the Z-Wave Module by going through Help | Purchase Modules | Z-Wave Module in the Admin Console. The price will be $1.00. Upgrading from 300 Series If you are upgrading from the 300 series, make sure you do: Z-Wave | Tools | Backup File | Backup ISY Follow the assembly instructions to swap the Z-Wave dongle with the 500 series version Upgrade to 5.2.0 or above Z-Wave | Restore FYI, make sure the dongle is in the bottom row of the ISY expansion slot. Upgrade to latest firmware, v5.3 after starting ISY and then restore zwave. Makes sure you make a full zwave backup prior to beginning the upgrade.
  23. Maybe use @+ name to get UD's attention.
