  1. Is there a way for an icon representing a variable in the favorites window to automatically update without having to tap the icon. Currently on Android version 1.1.64
  2. Being that the ISY994 is discontinued and no longer supported you best option is to migrate your Insteon and Zwave to the Polisy. The Polisy supports the Zmatter dongle which you have to purchase seperately. The Zmatter dongle supports Zwave, Zigbee and Matter protocols. The Polisy also supports PG3. In order to migrate Zwave from the ISY to the Polisy, the ISY needs to have the 500 series board. If you have the 300 series then you'll have to rebuild only your Zwave network from scratch on the Polisy. You can tell what board you have by looking at the firmware version in the Zwave menu. Being that the Polisy was selling for about $300 when you bought it, you most likely don't have Zmatter installed. You'll see the Zmatter dongle on this link, scroll down: UD Store - Universal Devices (universal-devices.com) ISY994 to Polisy migration instructions: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Eisy:User_Guide#Migration
  3. Being that the ISY994 was discontinued and is no longer supported by UDI, both you and your new buyer might be better off either removing the ISY and Insteon devices or have your buyer purchase the Insteon Hub Hub 2 Central Controller – Insteon Updates from Richard - April — Insteon

Not a problem, we all suffer from frustrations from time to time. I'm not familiar with Home Assistant. The Zmatter dongle is Zwave certified and does suport LR. I don't think the Zwave 800 series, being rather new, has had much exposure on the EISY so it might be best to submit a support ticket if you're still having issues.
  5. Delete your java cache, be sure to check all 3 boxes, then downnlaod the current version of the IoX Launcher from here: https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp This will place a new IoX Launcher on your desktop -------------- Is your goal to retire the ISY and use the Polisy as your main controller? You'll find the firmware and UI versions in the admin console under HELP | ABOUT Does your Polisy have the Zmatter dongle installed? Does you ISY have the 300 or 500 series Zwave card installed?
  6. If you've installed the Ring app from the PG3 store then if would have to been on the Polisy. What are the firmware and UI versions for the ISY994? Is your Polisy currently connected to your router via ethernet cable? What device is your PLM connected to? Is your goal to use the Polisy as your main controller and discontinue the ISY994?
  7. @Javi The EISY reboot and UDM sync resolved it. Many thanks.
  8. Techman replied to tibbar's topic in ZMatter
@tibbar It's probably best to submit a support ticket.
  9. Have you already migrated your ISY to the Polisy? Which controller are you currently using, i.e. your primary controller, , the Polisy or the ISY? To backup, click on file, backup IoX. To backup Zwave, click on Zwave, backup
  10. Techman replied to tibbar's topic in ZMatter
The ZEN04 uses the zwave 800 series chips, the Zmatter dongle uses the 700 series chips which may not support long range. It's best to check with Zooz tech support to see what the requirements are for LR.
  11. The update process you listed would apply only to the Polisy, not the ISY994. Be sure to backup your Polisy prior to updating. If you have Zwave devices installed then you need to also do a Zwave backup. Nothing you need to be aware of unless your Polisy is a very early version in which case you may need a bios update as well. If you do the update and everything works then the bios won't be an issue.
  12. @Javi The admin console correctly displays the file that's playing, UD Mobile either shows the incorrect file name or a number. I done a few syncs but the issue is still there.
  13. Techman replied to tibbar's topic in ZMatter
Appartently so, I think Zigbee is still being refined.
  14. It's most likely an issue with the ToggleLinc dimmer, which I believe has been discontinued. You can try doing a factory reset / restore device on the switch. If that doesn't work then you'll have to replace it with a 2477D paddle switch
  15. @bmercier Prior to uploading my MP3 files I deleted all the default sounds. When I did the 5.8.3 update I had to restart the audio player as it wouldn't populate and it reinstalled all the default MP3 files which I then had to delete again. I thought there might be an easy workaround.
  16. When playing a MP3 file on Audio Player via UD Mobile an incorrect file name is displayed in the playing field
  17. I was thinking in the terms of both an MP3 upload and TTS generated MP3s, the latter which can't easily be saved.
  18. @bmercier Is there a way to backup and restore the Audio Player data directory (just the MP3 files) without doing a full system restore. If not, could that be an added feature for the next firmware update?
  19. On the bluetooth service select ENABLED, then click on the SERVICE button to the left. If that doesn't work then go into PG3 and restart the bluetooth service. Once the service is enabled click on "Scan for Bluetooth Devices"
  20. If you're in safe mode that meas that the ISY can't communicate with the PLM. Is the green led lit on the PLM? Make sure the PLM cable is plugged into the correct port on the ISY and that the cable isn't defective.
  21. @timekiller Did you follow the replace PLM procedure (see attached) Replace PLM.pdf
  22. Prior to migration did you update the EISY firmware? Was your ISY Zwave dongle the 300 or 500 series? Did you do a Zwave backup on your ISY prior to thr migration? Some programs that include Zwave devices may need a tweek depending on how you named your devices. Did you exactly follow the migration instructions, as the migration should have gone smoothly.
  23. @bmercier When I use "/var/polyglot/pg3/ns/<NS Folder>/data" I'm able to get to the directory but I get a permission denied. So I can't see the data. How do I get past that?
  24. Thank you. I'm getting a "no such directory" response. I'm not using developer mode. Is the slot the one used for the audio player?
  25. @alixer To verify that all the devices in a scene are properly responding, Right click on the scene, click on diagnostics, scene test.
