  2. Did you convert the switch from a 6 button to an 8 button. If so, the factory reset will convert it back to a 6 button switch and you need to reconfigure it back to the 8-button mode.
  3. The disc is the piezo buzzer. Did you try doing a factory reset on the switch? Not sure what button you're referring to when you say "pushing the first button does nothing" The large top button should turn the relay on, and the large bottom button should turn the relay off.
  4. Take a look at your event log to see if the IOLinc is receiving multiple on/off commands. If you don't see more than one command then it could be spurious powerline signals such as the gate motor that's creating noise on the powerline.
  5. @GQuack Attached are the Onkyo ISCP codes in excel format. Your receiver isn't listed but the codes still may work. Give it a try. Onkyo ISCP PROGRAMMING CODES.xlsx
  6. @GQuack I believe that he is no longer supporting or developing the node server. I use network resources to control my Onkyo. If you search the forum, you'll find info on controlling the receiver via your network resources. What model Onkyo do you have?
  7. The cable you ordered is not the correct cable. You need the PLM serial cable from smartenit, link is below PLM Serial Cable - Smartenit
  8. "Cannot determine Insteon engine" is usually associated with poor communications between the device and the PLM. As suggested above, make sure the sensor is in the linking mode. Also try bringing the sensor closer to the PLM
  9. When you downloaded the new version of the ISY finder did you first clear your java cache including checking the box "all installed applications" I have Java 8 ver 341 on windows 10 and the launcher works without issues.

    Random on

@cmerlino Take a look at this link https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=INSTEON_Random_All_On_Events An all on, or on event won't show up in the ISY log, so this might be your issue.
  11. I have no problem reaching the store. UD Store - Universal Devices (universal-devices.com)
  12. Is the smoke bridge currently linked to the HUB or the ISY? If it was once linked to the HUB and then linked to the ISY did you factory reset it before you linked it to the ISY?
  13. @Sachelis Internet Explorer was discontinued on June 15, 2022 and is no longer supported by Microsoft. Microsoft's current browser is Microsoft Edge
  14. @Geddy The OP in his original post stated he was using the Polisy, there was no mention of the ISY994. So I guess there was a bit of confusion.
  15. @Snibley You're attempting to update the Polisy from PG2 which has been depreciated. Instead, you should use the admin console, Under System | Upgrade packages. Also, if your "upgrade bios" is not greyed out then you need to upgrade that as well. ,
  16. @Snibley The only update option in the admin console I have under system is "Upgrade Packages". Is that what you're referring to? Exactly where does the green bar appear?
  17. Out of curiosity, where did you see the green bar? I've never had one, even when I've had pending updates. When I click on updates the admin console shuts down and then the Polisy updates.
  18. @GlowingHair Is this what you're looking for? ISY-994i Series:EMail and Networking Substitution Variables - Universal Devices, Inc. Wiki (universal-devices.com)
  19. Assign them to a variable, then create a program to send the variables to an email or text message via the ISY notifications
  20. @cdave1252 Did you follow these instructions? If you're still have issues then try installing the 32 bit version of Java 1. Clear your Java Cache, including installed applications2. Go to https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp3. Click on the desired ISY row and, from the menu, choose the Admin Console
  21. Make sure you have the "Insteon support" box checked on the Polisy configuration page. Did you move the PLM over from the ISY? Is the green power LED on the PLM lit and a solid green? Do you have another PLM to DB9 cable you can try? Are you using the one that shipped with the PLM? It's possible that if you've been "experimenting" with power outages you may have corrupted the PLM link table in which case you should do a factory reset on the PLM, then a restore PLM.
  22. The Aeotec multisensor 6 and soon to be released multisensor 7 are fully compatible with the ISY and Polisy. I use several of them and have never had an issue.
  23. Seems like a local network issue, try rebooting your router.
  24. The Zooz 700 series dongle is for the Polisy only, The 500 series Z-wave internal board for the ISY is a proprietary device and is currently out of stock
  25. Try factory resetting the lamplinc and add via the admin console.
