ZMatter antenna assembly?
The antennas are color coded, there should have been instructions that came with the Zmatter board that detailed the antenna placement. The red banded antenna is Zigbee/Zmatter

Insteon Webnar recording 6/11/2023
Hi everyone, I hope you were able to join us on our ‘Lunch with Insteon’ webinar. If not, here is a recording of it. The passcode is 3UDS$nrv. As I mentioned on the webinar, June 9 is a special day as it is the exact date Insteon Technologies was publicly launched one year ago. We are thrilled with the progress we have made in such a short time, but we know we have so much more we want to do. Here is a quick recap of what we discussed: For the rest of June, we are offering free ground shipping on qualifying orders over $125 when using coupon code INSTEON1YR at checkout (see details here) We introduced the newest addition to our Insteon i3 line – the i3 Keypad which will be shipping in July You can now leave a review or ask questions about our products in our store. We encourage you to do both to help the Insteon community gain peer-to-peer insight to our product line Richard shared some updates on Director app development in regards to I/O Module - Low Voltage Controller (AKA I/O Linc), Mini Remotes, etc From testing hardware (like the new i3 Keypad), to new features in the Insteon Director app, to reviewing Insteon integration with third parties, we need beta testers. Click here to learn more and apply. Last, but certainly not least, we had our first Bright Ideas segment where we highlight customers using the Insteon ecosystem in clever ways. Anne has an incredible story (video) and joined us to share a few comments on how Insteon is a critical part of her accessibility journey. We thank her so much for putting a spotlight on this important community. Thanks and have a great week! Ken CEO, Insteon Technologies Feedback Form Link: https://www.insteon.com/general-feedback

Antenna Connection size for ZMatter USB (EISY)
The ESY has four 3.0 USB ports so there's really no need for a splitter.
-
Antenna Connection size for ZMatter USB (EISY)
The Zmatter enclosure has a standard USB connector. You can locate it outside of your cabinet using an USB cable which connects to the USB port on the EISY.

Insteon Lamplinc not reliable after Zmatter migration
You might have a corrupted link table in the device, try doing a restore device

Insteon Lamplinc not reliable after Zmatter migration
After a reboot the device status will default to blank until a device status change takes place. If you want an immediate status update on all your device(s) do a query or query all

ZMatter USB Installation Steps?
If I recall there are other options above or below the Migrate option, but I don't remember what they were. Once you click the correct option that menu will go away and your zwave will be fully operational.

Support thread: IoX 5.6.2 Release
No issues with the EISY. Update went smoothly.

Insteon split home- no device status
@Scott Korvek In addition to what @lilyoyo1 is suggesting, the sequence you should follow is: Remove power from the Polisy and the PLM connected to the Polisy Factory reset the eisy and the USB PLM Power up the EISY with the new USB PLM Restore your backup file to the EISY Do a "restore devices" on the EISY Delete the devices from the EISY that you want to keep on the Polisy Remove power from the EISY and the USB PLM Power up the Polisy and delete the devices you want to keep on the EISY, then power up the EISY. Note: doing a factory reset on a PLM then a restore PLM usually frees up PLM storage space.

Insteon split home- no device status
@Scott Korvek When you moved over to the EISY your previous PLM addresses would have moved over as well. Being that you're basically starting with a new system you should delete all your devices and PLM from the EISY, then install the new USB PLM and then install each Insteon device. When you restored your previous backup to the EISY it also installed your previous PLM data which is embedded in each Insteon device link table. Doing a restore PLM would write the old PLM data into the EISY. The only workaround is to start anew.

Serious ISY issues with New PLM
@smithlevenson Are your firmware and UI the same version. Which zwave board do you have, the 300 or 500 series?
-
Insteon split home- no device status
Are your eisy firmware and UI the same version? The current USB PLM should be hardware version 9E. Where do you see version 1.26? Did you restore the same backup to both the Polisy and the EISY? You mention the both the Polisy and the EISY see the ELK. You can only have one controller associated with a device.

ISY to Polisy Migration - Z-Wave Exclude/Include References
@mmb If your ISY has the 500 series zwave board and your Polisy has the zmatter board then zwave will migrate without having to do any exclude/include functions. On the other hand if your ISY has the 300 series zwave then you'll have to manually exclude/include each zwave device

On/off outlet not responding to a scene
Restore device - re-writes the link table stored in the controller to the device. This is useful if the link table in the device is mismatched / corrupted.

Communications Breakdown
Did you do a compare to see if the ISY and Device link tables match? Trying a restore device on the keypad and the Switchlinc as it's possible that the link tables got corrupted.

Random On Events not appearing in logs
INSTEON Random All On Events Random All On events are related to INSTEON commands being sent to the PLM from ISY and, on the other hand, one (or more) INSTEON devices sending events to the PLM at the same time and thus causing packet collision. RF/dual band devices increase the likelihood of this event since they send two packets for each signal. The combination of the following technique will dramatically reduce the likelihood of All On events: You don't have any programs that use Control for a device and then send a Scene command to a scene which includes the same physical device. So different buttons from the same KPL are considered one device Don't Use a Control for a device which is already a Controller for some Scene and then have the program send other INSTEON commands to other devices/scenes. This basically causes two or more events arrive at the PLM at the same time In addition, motion sensors with low battery, sometimes go crazy and start sending sequences of on/off every second or so. As such: Check Tools | Log for sequences of motion sensor on/off every few seconds and in succession If you do have those, change the motion sensor battery NOTE: All on events won't appear in the ISY log because they didn't originate from the ISY. Powerline noise and/or a defective device can also contribute to an on event.

Programs not showing up
It's possible that your firmware and UI aren't the same version. Clear your java cache, including checking the box all installed applications, then download the IoX installer.

SynchroLinc Dissapointment.
@Illusion Glad to hear you're back in business. The extra nodes can be ignored. Not sure why they're created, but that seems to be the case with most zwave devices. It might be a compatibility component of the switch being used by various controllers. I put the unused nodes into a separate folder to get them out of the way.

Does Backup include Z-Wave
Anytime you add, delete or change a Zwave device you should do a Zwave backup which backs up the data on your Zwave dongle.
-
Communications Breakdown
@vmastros Are your firmware and UI the same version? Can you post a copy of your program Also, run a diagnostics on the switch. Right click on the device, click on show device links table, after the window fully populates, click on compare at the bottom of the window. Does it then show any mismatched links?

Polisy PRO seems to be locked up / frozen
Try removing power for a few minutes, then power it up and let it reboot.
