  1. That doesn't sound right as it appears to be IoX firmware related. Are you sure your issue was understood?
  2. @rstotts I think you should submit a support ticket. It's possible that there's a bug in the IoX 5.5.6 firmware as more than one op is experiencing the same problem.
  3. @rstotts If you're still unable to see all 8 nodes then I would try deleting the device, and reboot the eisy. Then do a factory reset on the KPL by pulling out the set button and then pushing it in and continuing to hold it in until the device stops buzzing. then install it again. Let us know the results.
  4. Are your firmware and UI the same version? If you click on one of the nodes, what device description displays in the node window?
  5. The eisy supports Insteon, Z-wave and will soon support Zigbee and Matter. UD offers exceptional tech support, and their products are reliable and versatile. Additionally, this forum has the best, responsive and knowledgeable member base.
  6. @Geddy Tried your suggestions, I'm still unable to access the eisy. It's totally non-responsive, I opened a ticket.
  7. There are two versions of the firmware, one for the PLM and one if you're not using a PLM. The reason it boots up in safe mode is because it's looking for the PLM. You need to Install the Z-wave only version of the firmware. Download firmware - ISY 994i Series including Z-Wave support - ISY 994i ZW, Z, or ZS Series (Z-Wave/Zigbee and/or if you do NOT have a PLM)
  8. When I accessed my eisy I got a popup window saying the eisy was being updated, then everything locked up. I was unable to close any windows. After waiting for a while, I shut down java and then reopened the IoX Launcher. I then did a "update packages". Now when I open the IoX Launcher the eisy is no longer there. I tried a reboot and a factory reset to no avail. When I try to manually add the eisy to the Launcher I get a not found message. Any suggestions?
  9. @ShawnW Just ran some tests with the SmartSwitch 7. All the parameters are configurable. The reporting default for a change in current is 10 minutes. I set the parameter to 3 seconds, it took about 8 seconds for the change in current to display. I assume it's due to the Z-wave lag time. I've attached the manual for switch configuration options. The parameter for current is 1A hex (26 decimal) If your pump only runs for about 5 seconds the switch may not be a viable option for you. Smart Switch 7 US.pdf.pdf
  10. @ShawnW Currently I'm not using the smart switch to monitor current, but I'll run some tests in the next few days and let you know. Generally speaking, I think Zwave has a bit of a lag time compared to Insteon.
  11. When Zwave is migrated over to the polisy or eisy the ZW gets changed to ZY. Not sure why they did it, but I assume it was necessary for the migration process. When some Zwave devices get installed, extra nodes may show up. This is due to manufacturers supporting various hubs. You can just ignore them if you don't need them. Most of us create a folder and place these unused nodes in it to get them out of the way.
  12. @TimWing To reset the PLM to its original factory settings, unplug from wall outlet and wait 10 seconds. Press and hold Set button; while continuing to press and hold, plug back in. A long beep will sound; continue holding Set button until beep stops, then release.
  13. @TimWing If what Geddy suggested doesn't work, then try doing a factory reset on the PLM, then a restore PLM. It's possible that Insteon left some data on the PLM that's interfering with the restore process.
  14. @MrBill By having multiple PLMs on the power line at the same time aren't you at risk of having data collisions in the event that more than one PLM is sending data over the powerline at the same time?
  15. @Illusion Here's the nodes available for the Z-wave Smartswitch 6 and 7.
  16. If you bought a new ISY994 and a new PLM, then you can temporarily disconnect your existing PLM which will basically disable your current ISY Then connect the new ISY and PLM and install a new (spare) Insteon device for testing. Be sure to first factory reset the new PLM.
  17. @Papa C In the eisy and the Polisy, the Humidity for the Multisensor 6 appears in a separate node called "Weather Sensor"
  18. @firstone The eisy may not support the Zooz dongle. The Zmatter board won't be recognized by the eisy until you click on the migrate button and select one of the 3 options.
  19. Over the air updates (OTA) will most likely come in a future firmware update, as will matter and zigbee support..
  20. Try admin / admin
  21. @Riggins44 The green icon means there are pending writes. right click on one of the devices with the green icon, then click on write updates. If that clears the green icon then move on to the next one. It's possible that your PLM is starting to fail or that you had a power line event during the night.
  22. @TRI0N You need to clear your Java cache, be sure to check the box "installed programs and applets" and then run the start.jnlp. This will remove your IoX Launcher and install a new version
  23. Techman replied to mmb's topic in Polisy
I believe that they had to break off part of the board in order to fit it into the enclosure. If that's the case, then it wouldn't mount properly in the Polisy
  24. Techman replied to wacvmd's topic in eisy
Right click on the devices with the green marks, then right click on write updates. If the update is successful, the green mark should disappear.
