  1. @Tim McDermott The UDI Wiki for the Polisy shows the following: INSTEON Support Connect the PLM to your Polisy Polisy supports the following PLMs: 2412S and 2413S through the DB9 connector on the back. 2413U and 2448A7 through the USB port on the back. If you have a 2413S (serial),
  2. Unplug it, wait about 30 seconds then try another factory reset, then a restore device. If that doesn't work, then it may have reached its end of life
  3. @marvel Try rebooting your ISY Did you also upgrade your UI so it matches your ISY firmware version?
  4. Clear your java cache, including applications, then download the ISY Launcher] https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp then Reboot the Polisy
  5. The additional Z-wave nodes are due to an anomaly between the Z-wave device and your controller. As oskrypuch mentioned, create a folder and move the nodes you aren't using into that folder, that way you won't see them.
  6. Here's the link, be sure to read the update instructions. Current Release Announcements - Universal Devices Forum (universal-devices.com)
  7. @smarthome_newbie What are your ISY firmware and UI versions? What version of the Zwave dongle are you running, 300 or 500? Early versions of the siren had compatible issues with some versions of the ISY firmware
  8. Try clearing your Java cache, including applications, then download the ISY launcher. If that doesn't resolve the problem then you may need to also install the 32 bit Java, which is Version 8, Update 331.
  9. This is the download for the ISY launcher, which is the one you should use. Be sure to clear your java cache including applications before you install the launcher When the launcher opens you can click on either LAN or Cloud access to the ISY start.jnlp
  10. In the Polygot setup window, The ISY address should be that of the Polisy and not the ISY?
  11. After the upgrade did you delete your java cache, including applications and then download the ISY Launcher. The correct link is below. https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp
  12. Your IOLinc is a fairly recent version. Your hex address is clear, so there's no chance of any digits being misread. Delete the device from the ISY Do a factory reset on the device by unplugging it, then hold down the set button while you plug it in. After a few seconds you'll get a long beep, continue holding in the set button until the beep stops. In the admin console go to Link management, New Insteon device. type in the 6 digit hex address and click OK. The ISY should auto discover and install the correct device.
  13. What is the 6 digit hex address of the device xx.xx.xx ?
  14. On the Polygot settings page, verify that you have the correct parameters for the Polyglot web port and for the ISY settings
  15. Sometimes you just end up with phantom nodes, if you find that you don't need them put them in a folder.
  16. First try rebooting the ISY. Did you follow the upgrade instructions? Upgrading to this version may require a lot of manual intervention including verifying scenes, programs and program settings are correct. In some cases it will be easier to rebuild your network.
  17. Did you do a factory reset on the IOLinc before you tried to link it? "Cannot determine Insteon engine”, means the PLM is unable to communicate with the device. If you linked it to the ISY using a different device type, there could be unforeseen consequences. Open/close sensor is a battery operated device and should not be used to link a hardwired device. What is the address of your IOLinc xx.xx.xx, as it's possible you may have typed in the wrong address. It's easy to misconstrue the 8 and B
  18. Did you follow these instructions? ISY-99i/ISY-26 INSTEON:Replacing/Formatting an SD Card - Universal Devices, Inc. Wiki (universal-devices.com)
  19. Sometimes you end up with extra nodes when you install a new Z-wave device. It's an anomaly between the ISY and Z-wave devices. You can create a new folder, call it unused nodes, and park those unused nodes in the folder.
  20. What is your ISY firmware and UI version? What z-Wave dongle are you using, 300, 500 I've found that the repeater should be about 20 feet from the ISY as the ISY Z-wave dongle doesn't have an external antenna which can reduce the coverage area of the signal. Not sure about the NWI/NWE option. You could send an email to Aeotec support, they are very responsive. Also make sure you have the latest firmware updates for you Z-wave devices.
  21. The restore option is not applicable when you're moving over from the Hub. You need to treat this as a brand-new install. You should factory reset all your devices and the PLM then Install them one at a time Here's the Polisy instructions: Polisy:User Guide - Universal Devices, Inc. Wiki (universal-devices.com) Make sure that your polisy firmware and your UI are the same version. Take a look at the attached ISY Cookbook, it should answer most of your questions. If you still have questions someone is always here on the forum to answer them. ISY Cookbook.pdf
  22. You also might try rebooting the Polisy
  23. This is what some of us are using. It frees up the second usb port and moves the Zwave dongle to a better location: USB 3.0 Adapter 90 Degree Male to Female Combo Vertical Up and Down Angle Coupler Connector by Oxsubor : Electronics (amazon.com) Not sure the Polisy would support a wi-fi adapter but the pro version has built-in wi-fi. You could also use the Polisy's network resources to talk to wi-fi enabled devices.
  24. Set up your leak sensors as you would any other battery-operated device. Put the sensor into linking mode then click on New Insteon device in the linking window of the admin console. It will auto discover the device. Make sure only one battery operated device is in the linking mode at any one time or you could get corrupted links
