  1. In that case, In the scene, adjust your preferred settings for that specific device. This is a necessary step when adding a device to a scene. Once the device parameters are set, "default" should no longer appear.
  2. In the scene, click on the switch, do the proper setting then show up?
  3. Cannot determine Insteon Engine means that the PLM is unable to communicate with the device. To link the bulb, you need to remove power, when you then power it up the bulb will go into linking mode for a few minutes, you can then link it to the ISY. The bulb cannot be connected to dimmer switch.
  4. @Poporo The Admin Console and the Device hardware must match, otherwise you can experience issues. On the eisy, go to the configuration tab and click on Update Packages. You can also try clearing your Java Cache, including installed applications, then download the IoX Launcher The is the first time I've seen 5.5.1 of the admin console. It must have just been updated.
  5. The red exclamation marks means that the PLM is unable to communicate with the device. Hold the set button until the green led flashes, then right click the device and left click on write updates. After the write completes, tap the set button to take the sensor out of linking mode.
  6. If you cleared your Java cache, including al installed applications, then you should only have one instance of the launcher in your program list. Bring that you have multiple entries, your cache was not cleared, thus there lies your problem. The only entry should be the IoX Launcher
  7. There are a few bugs in 5.5.0 that weren't in the previous release. A firmware update is coming out soon, not sure if it will address your issue.
  8. When you click on the IoX Launcher does the attached window open up? If so, then click on ISY, another window will open showing 3 options, LAN, Cloud, and Dashboard, click oh LAN
  9. Right click on Programs, Select new program: Note: once the sensor wet status is triggered, you'll need to press the sensor set button to reset the sensor to DRY. Keep it simple. You don't need variables IF Leak Sensor WET Status is on THEN Do what ever ELSE (blank)
  10. The wiring diagram is posted on the forum, you'll need to search for it. The box that the PLM came in has a DB9 to PLM cable stored in the bottom of the box. If you still have it then you just need a serial to USB convertor, which is available on Amazon.

  12. @KevinInToronto Have you tried doing a factory reset on the KPL then a restore device. It's also possible that the load that's connected to the KPL is causing issues.

  14. Do you have the IoX Launcher icon on your desktop The admin console option will be displayed when the launcher icon is executed
  15. Being that your problem is intermittent, the only other suggestion is the SD card. Remove power from the ISY, remove the SD card and clean its contacts with a soft eraser. If you still have problems after that then replacing the SD card might help.
  16. What is your ISY UI version? Your devices shouldn't be disappearing from the ISY. Have you tried removing power from the ISY for a cold boot.
  17. Usually, Port 587 with TLS checked. It may vary depending on your email provider. If you reserve an IP address on your router for your controller then you would enter that IP address in the controller,
  18. If you're using only Zwave devices and don't have a PLM attached to the ISY then you need to use this firmware which doesn't support a PLM. This will eliminate the error message. ISY 994i ZW, Z, or ZS Series (Z-Wave/Zigbee and/or if you do NOT have a PLM) Then you'll also need to clear your Java cache, including installed applications and then download the Iox Launcher. https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp
  19. It's possible that you have a defective Zwave device Every time you exclude then include a device the ZW number will increase by one.
  20. @tibbar Try the "Synchronize nodes" option in the ISY Zwave menu. Based on your hardware you should have a viable Zwave system

Currently, there are three controller hardware versions, ISY994, Polisy, and the just released EISY The current firmware version for the ISY994 is 5.3.4, that's assuming that you don't have the Zwave module installed. What's your current firmware and UI versions? The node servers require either the Polisy or EISY hardware
  22. The ISY Zwave antenna is inside the enclosure, so its range is somewhat limited. You need to have either a repeater or a non-battery Zwave device within about 15 feet from the ISY to relay the Zwave signals. You can also try the "Synchronize nodes" option in the ISY Zwave menu
  23. @SirParadox Are you trying to update the ISY994 or the Polisy hardware?

  25. The Zwave migration option hasn't been implemented yet. If you had the Zooz dongle installed, then by pushing the Zwave to matter button it set the primary Zwave controller from Zooz to Zmatter. Your Zwave devices will need to be manually excluded then included into the Zmatter board Currently the repeater won't show up as it has no nodes or options, but in the next firmware release that may change.
