@apostolakisl If you can't get your tags to work, I suppose you could but 3-5 YoLink sensors in there. Then take the average (or lowest/highest?) temp of all of them? It's like my digital picture frames, I have them all set to change once per 30 minutes, but that means one of them is changing every ~5 minutes. Good luck, Ross

@apostolakisl Unfortunately, the sensors I use don't meet your 0.5F degree requirement. They may have sensors that do. Per the manual of a water sensor I use, the temperature reading refreshes when one of the following conditions are met:. 1) The SET button has been pressed. 2) When temp is over 32°F, at least 1.8°F change over a period longer than 1 minute. 3) When temp is between 14°F and 32°F, at least 2.7°F change over a period longer than 1 minute. 4) When temp is between 5°F and 14°F, at least 3.6°F change over a period longer than 1 minute. 5) When temp is below 5°F, at least 9°F change over a period longer than 1 minute. 6) At least 3.6°F change within 1 minute. 7) Device alert level reached or restored to normal range. 8) Once an hour. https://www.yosmart.com/support/YS8004-UC/docs/instruction. @apostolakisl YoLink will not do every 30 seconds and can't be plugged in. So, I agree you should stick with your tags if that is important to you. They only update when the temperature changes by a set degree - that's how the battery life is prolonged. I find the sensors without a display last longer than the ones with a display. Good luck with your authorization issues.

Mine shows F in the program. But, I'm on 1.5.16.

@apostolakisl Based on a few topics on here, more than a few of us have switched from wireless tags to YoLink. I had battery issues with the wireless tags and have had no issues with YoLink. You do need a YoLink hub. I'm not sure what you use your tags for, but YoLink was definitely an upgrade for me. Ross

@Geddy I have an ISY and the Yolink plug-in and it works great. However, I recently found that I can not add any new Yolink devices so that they appear in the ISY. And, unfortunately, UD does not support the ISY. This may be the straw that makes me switch to the EISY. Ross

I use a temperature sensor in another part of the room and programs to adjust the thermostat settings based on the sensor. This method ignores what the thermostat "thinks" is the temperature.

I've had issues with this nodeserver. I've paid my $30 twice, but I still get a "subscription has expired" notice. I downloaded the non-production 3.2.4 as you've done. My Custom Configuration Parameters were: change_node_names, discover_timeout and auto_discover. User and Password weren't the options. So, I added them. Unfortunately, it still shows as disconnected.

@Panda88 I appreciate that - but I messed myself up loading 2 different Kasa plugins and I still haven't been able to get it to work. I don't want to mess up the YoLinks I have working (and I know I would!). I've submitted a ticket and I'll report back.

@Panda88 I've been running the ISY and the nodeservers on the Polisy for a long time without any YoLink Issues. This only broke because last week I thought about how well the system had been running for so long... @bpwwer I did #1 and 2. Not sure what to do for #3, but I restarted the AC and YoLink still doesn't show up if I want to use the status in a program. I then downloaded and attached the log package. The temperatures update on the Main tab, but I can't use YoLink in a program. I also noticed that any program using YoLink (i.e., update a variable if the temperature changes) doesn't work. ISY firmware and UI are both 5.3.4. The Polisy version and Frontend version is 3.1.13. @Panda88 I don't necessarily want a special program for me. Your plugin/nodeserver has worked great for a long time and then all of a sudden stopped. If you can't glean anything from the log, then I'll submit a ticket. Thank you all for your help. @Panda88 I installed YoLink in a new slot, but there is no change. It does not appear in Status and appears in Control. I am using an ISY and a Polisy for the Plugins. ISY firmware and UI are both 5.3.4. The Polisy version and Frontend version is 3.1.13. @Geddy I've restarted the Plugin and restarted the AC several times. Browsing to your link replacing EISY with Polisy and also using my internal IP address both returned "This site can't be reached". I've had trouble updating my java on my computer - it gives me an error. I will look into it further this weekend. @bpwwer I've clicked the Load Profile, waited a minute to several minutes, and then restarted AC a few times. No luck each time, though. Ross

I'm not sure this is a YoLink issue as much as it's either a Plugin issue or a "me" issue... I have several YoLink temperature sensors which I use in programs to do something or notify me when a temperature condition is reached. Now, when I create a new program, I click Condition and select Status, but the YoLinks do not show up as a selection in the next dropdown box. If I click Control, they do show up, but that's not helpful as I need the status (temperature), not whether it's on or off. The strange thing is that my current programs using YoLinks continue to work. So, I copied a working program and tried to edit it, but the same thing happens - the YoLink in that program doesn't appear in the dropdown. The YoLinks all appear in the Main tab under Nodes and they do reflect current conditions. I have reinstalled the plugin into the same slot with no effect. Below are some screenshots. @Jimbo.Automates Thank you. I only see version 3.1.4 available. And I've read there's a 3.2.2 version around. I probably need to update my Polisy (I run the ISY and have my plug-ins on Polisy). I'll look into this in about 3 weeks as I am traveling off/on for a bit. Hopefully this forum remains open until then! And, I do appreciate that this is a side job for you and also appreciate what all plugin developers do for us users. Thanks again, Ross

I'm jumping back into this thread after a couple of months. I'm still disconnected. I have bought the Production store Kasa (Standard - Perpetual) twice (and have been charged $30 twice) and yet I am still receiving the following message: "The subscription for this node server has expired." So, I'm a bit gun shy to install it yet again (and get charged again). When I go into the Production store, I only see 3.1.4 available. I don't see 3.2.4. I see the same thing in the non-production store. I am running an ISY (v 5.3.4) and using a Polisy (v 3.1.13) for the plug-ins. Thank you as always, Ross

I leave my admin console open at all times and each of my plugins update at all times. About once a week, the admin console freezes - it becomes like a jpg on the screen - you can't do anything with it. So, I close the AC and reopen it. I have not found the "frozen condition" to have any effect on my ISY. It keeps on working running programs and updating variables.
