  1. Hi @ChadS, I have asked Chris to chime in. @pjjameso, I am so very sorry to hear. This said, I really do not think that the issue is the dongle itself. Did you actually go through the whole process? Did you try the Heal? @Techness, thanks so very much for the feedback. The most important tests are: restore and reliable communications. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi @MWareman, Haven't gotten that far but it should support pretty much anything that the API supports. With kind regards, Michel
  3. @MWareman, No, I am depending on @OneClicktoControl … With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi mstrsmth, While waiting for Google, if you can provide us with your UUID and the time you tried link/relink (to support@universal-devices.com), we can look at our logs. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hello everyone, to answer some questions: 1. No external antenna support on this dongle 2. Yes, ISY will eventually be able to do OTA Upgrade on Z-Wave devices that support it 3. You might get better communications if you mount ISY on a wall in a vertical manner … but, this is anecdotal based on our FCC testing With kind regards, Michel
  6. @EricK, Please follow these instructions:https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY_Portal_Amazon_Echo_Integration_V3#Instructions_for_Migrating_to_V3 With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hi mstrsmth, We still haven't heard back from Google. Perhaps we'll get better results if you also submit a ticket. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hello @apostolakisl, @OneClicktoControl developer (who developed the app) was here yesterday. He said that this issue will be fixed by the end of this week. Thanks so much for your patience. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi Bumbershoot, Yes, we more than half way done in developing the Polyglot in the Cloud. Once that's done, this should be quite simple. With kind regards, Michel
  10. @blueman2, thanks for the report. I have forwarded to Chris. @ChadS, what you are discussing is the same concept as having INSTEON devices linked to each other without ISY knowing about them. All you need to do is to put those devices in scenes and ISY will recreate the associations. @mwester , thanks so very much for the detailed feedback. With regards to the perpetual pending writes, have you tried 5.0.13A? This was one of the bugs that was fixed. With kind regards, Michel

Hi Jgdavis14, Please send a screenshot of Help | About with a link to this post to support@universal-devices.com. With kind regards, Michel

Jgdavis14, Please make sure Elk is not enabled under Configuration tab. With kind regards, Michel
  13. apostolakisl, That's not normal. Is it possible that your phone has this app under power saving mode? With kind regards, Michel
  14. @Jimbo This is why we resisted this concept in general and types in particular. I think it's best to use nodes and attach the hints to specific nodes. Otherwise, we will be regurgitating the same nonsense as other protocols. And NEVER use bitmaps. It just defeats the purpose. Hints should be used as hints and nothing else. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi zg825, You probably need more range extenders. With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hello everyone, Thanks so much for all the testing and feedback. Extremely helpful especially those related to security. To answer some of your questions: 1. After everything is OK, you can check query at restart 2. Yes secure material are restored. This said we will verify again There are a couple of new things in the 500 series. One of them is signal to noise ratio below which the dongle starts having communication problems. This is something we can check. So, based on all the feedback, it seems the issues are mostly related to secure devices. Thanks again and we shall keep you posted with whatever we find. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi all, For those who haven't installed yet, please do not do a Network Heal initially. Please test everything as is and do a Network Heal if and only if necessary. We are testing a few scenarios here. Michel
  18. Hi @blueman2, before doing a heal, can you please try Z-Wave | Tools | Synchronize Nodes | All? If that does not help, please try Z-Wave | Advanced | Factory Reset and then retry another Restore. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi @blueman2, What if you just restore your Z-Wave backup and do NOT do a heal at all. How's performance without the heal? With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hello everyone, Thanks so very much for the interest. Here are the instructions again: You must be running 5.0.13 You must backup your Z-Wave dongle (Z-Wave | Tools | Backup) … this is going to take a LONG time so, if you decide to go for this beta, it's best to backup now Disable query at restart Replace the dongle Restore your Z-Wave dongle by doing Z-Wave | Tools | Restore … this is going to be pretty fast Test communications, backup, and range (should be a little better) If communications are not good, try a Network Heal With kind regards, Michel
  21. apostolakisl, If you can send us a screenshot of the actual error, it would help a lot. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Teken, If you can send us a USPS return label, then it's much less daunting for us. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hi rccoleman, The only time you may need to clear Java cache is if the Launcher itself is updated. Otherwise you can even use the same Launcher for 4.x vs. 5x without any issues. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi asbril, If you use the ISY Launcher, it will automatically use the correct UI for the respective ISY. So, yes. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi lilyoyo1, The board the definitely does and we have plans of supporting it (in code). With kind regards, Michel
