  1. @Scott847, yes it is safe. @Atitus713, in that case your old Z-Wave dongle is probably bad. What I suggest is to reboot with the old dongle and then do Z Wave/ Tools / Synchronize nodes / All. If your ISY Z-Wave nodes are removed then your old Z Wave dongle is empty. With kind regards, Michel
  2. @Scott847, Cannot reproduce. It's probably routing related. @Atitus713, did you backup your old Z-Wave dongle? With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi Jimbo, Please query your device. It might be that the on level is set to 0. With kind regards, Michel
  4. HI @drprm1, I responded to your ticket. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi Bill, Have you taken a look at the error log? With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi firstone, You are 100% correct and that's precisely what I suggested (i.e. without using hints). The only reason for using compliance is because we also have to do solar/storage inverters and EVs (for our CEC project). They have no commands and have nothing to do with Alexa. So, I prefer having a comprehensive portal solution for node servers (including the could polyglot) rather than just a one-off for Alexa. I'll discuss with @bmercier when he's back from his well deserved vacation. With kind regards, Michel
  7. @firstone, Once we agree on the compliance layer, than we'll implement the same in the Portal (without using hints). With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi @pjjameso, Have you tried to position ISY vertically? Yes we will get those devices and test. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hello everyone, Thanks for all the feedback. Security must be considered first and foremost in this day and age. There are no excuses for doing anything else. Benoit has already looked into 2FA and we should have it working by YE. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi @kevindavis544, Please send your uuid to support@universal-devices.com. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Thank you all. Can you please disable and then enable the skill and then let me know whether or not you see any improvements? Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
  12. Thanks everyone. If it's happening on both firmware version branches, then definitely related to Echo itself. Have you looked at history to see what Echo is hearing? With kind regards, Michel
  13. @Jimbo, Yes, vertical … it's best if LED point down but, in all cases, range is a lot better if in vertical mode. Heal, if and only if you have communication problems. @asbril, With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hello everyone, Is anyone of you NOT On 5.0.13? With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi MWareman, We'll definitely look into it. With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi rccoleman, All systems are 100% healthy here. Are you sure that your devices do actually respond? With kind regards, Michel
  17. skunkiechris, Yes, backup is definitely much faster than the 300 series. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi John, Boy, I have no clue what any of those things are. I would start with the first two. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi whywork, Unlike the 300 series, the 500 series does not have a boot loader. Everything is on one chip. With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hi Randy, Thanks so very much for the feedback. Just for reference, can you please let me know your UI version? With kind regards, Michel
  21. JShcumann, Have you tried https? With kind regards, Michel
  22. @asbril, What port did you use? With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hello JSchumann, Very much related to firewall software: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Main_Page#Admin_Console_Closes_Automatically With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi MrTinker, This is for any situation! In FCC testing, putting ISY vertically dramatically increased the signal levels received by the test equipment at 908Mhz range. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi Guys, With regards to range, we are bound by the FCC certification. We had to reduce the power to the point that we could pass (it took very many tries). There's also a signal/noise threshold in the new Z-Wave firmware which we can configure. Perhaps, it's more of a signal/noise ratio than signal strength. With kind regards, Michel
